     Life's Little Instruction.............................

      Sing in the shower.
Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated.
Watch a sunrise at least once a year.
Leave the toilet seat in the down position.
    Never refuse homemade brownies.
    Strive for excellence, not perfection.
Plant a tree on your birthday.
    Learn 3 clean jokes.
Return borrowed vehicles with the gas tank full.
    Compliment 3 people every day.
Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
Leave everything a little better than you found it.
    Keep it simple.
Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures.
Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
    Floss your teeth.
Ask for a raise when you think you've earned it.
    Overtip breakfast waitresses.
Be forgiving of yourself and others.
    Say, "Thank you" a lot.
    Say, "Please" a lot.
    Avoid negative people.
Buy whatever kids are selling on card tables in their front yards.
    Wear polished shoes.
    Remember other people's birthdays.
    Commit yourself to constant improvement.
Carry jumper cables in your truck.
    Have a firm handshake.
    Send lots of Valentine cards.
Sign them, "Someone who thinks you're terrific."
    Look people in the eye.
Be the first to say hello.
    Use the good silver.
    Return all things you borrow.
Make new friends, but cherish the old ones.
    Keep a few secrets.
    Sing in a choir.
    Plant flowers every spring.
    Have a dog. <Or cat :)>
    Always accept an outstretched hand.
    Stop blaming others.
Take responsibility for every area of your life.
Wave at kids on school busses.
Be there when people need you.
Feed a stranger's expired parking meter.
Don't expect life to be fair.
Never underestimate the power of love.
Drink champagne for no reason at all.
Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.
Don't be afraid to say, "I made a mistake."
Don't be afraid to say, "I don't know."
    Compliment even small improvements.
Keep your promises no matter what.
    Marry for love.
    Rekindle old friendships.
    Count your blessings.
    Call your mother.

Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have.
    Be kinder than necessary.
Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
    Commit yourself to constant improvement.
    Don't major in minor things.
Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
Take charge of your attitude. Don't let someone else choose it for you.
Take care of your reputation. It's your most valuable asset.
Never underestimate the power of a kind word or deed.
Watch for big problems. They disguise big opportunities.
Believe in love at first sight.
    Talk slow but think quick.
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
Always put something in the collection plate.
Turn enemies into friends by doing something nice for them.
Remember that a good example is the best sermon.
Don't let weeds grow around your dreams.
Don't take good friends, good health, or a good marriage for granted.
Pray. There is immeasurable power in it.
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
    Never ignore evil.
Earn your success based on service to others, not at the expense of others.
Never let the odds keep you from pursuing what you know in your heart you were meant to do.
Spoil your wife, not your children.
Never be too busy to meet someone new.
To help your children turn out well, spend twice as much time with them and half as much money.
Remember that life's most treasured moments often come unannounced.
Become the world's most thoughtful friend.
    Rebuild a broken relationship.
Protect your enthusiasm from the negativity of others.
    Never resist a generous impulse.
Don't live with the brakes on.

Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
Remember no one makes it alone. Have a grateful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who helped you.
Take charge of your attitude. Don't let someone else choose it for you.
Visit friends and relatives when they are in hospital; you need only stay a few minutes.
Begin each day with some of your favorite music.
Once in a while, take the scenic route.
Send a lot of Valentine cards. Sign them, 'Someone who thinks you're terrific.'
Answer the phone with enthusiasm and energy in your voice.
Keep a note pad and pencil on your bed-side table. Million-dollar ideas sometimes strike at 3 a.m.
Show respect for everyone who works for a living, regardless of how trivial their job.
Send your loved ones flowers. Think of a reason later.
Make someone's day by paying the toll for the person in the car behind you.
    Become someone's hero.
    Marry only for love.
    Count your blessings.
Compliment the meal when you're a guest in someone's home.
Wave at the children on a school bus.
Remember that 80% of the success in any job is based on your ability to deal with people.
Don't expect life to be fair.

  • Marry the man of your dreams. Don't settle for less.

Kiss your husband passionately in an unexpected moment.

As often as you can, give in to the request for "just one more story, Mommy."

Spare no expense on your children's portraits. You will cherish them forever.

  • A successful marriage, like a well-tended garden, takes constant care and the couple who spends time creating a joyful marriage and loving family discovers that it is the best investment they can make.

Joy can come from such simple things as the sun on your face, the sound of your child's laughter, or making someone cinnamon toast.

  • Do the right thing, regardless of what others think.

Every day look for some small way to improve your marriage.

Be forgiving of yourself and the others .

Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated
