Japa makes the mind free from worldly thoughts
By Nama Japa means repetition of God’s Name as many times as
possible, makes the mind free from other worldly thoughts & mind
gets emptied and makes room for the positive thoughts to enter in to
ignite within. When there is continuous thought flow, the mind gets
agitated with tension for the future coupled with anxiety of the
past actions. In an cleaning operation, the mind has to be emptied
and cleaned with detergent of Love and Bhakti to be away from the
worldly virus, which is possible when chanting of Nama Japa is
repeatedly done as many times as possible with complete faith, which
controls the senses with complete concentration.
Meditation is connecting inward:- Meditation is the process which
connects you to the inner wheel with the pass word of the Lord &
there is no fear of worldly challenges of life & you become fearless
& enjoy equanimity, blissfulness, steadiness, calmness, balanced and
poised and you realize your own Divinity, which you had otherwise
lost it in the materialistic world. Thereafter, ‘I’- ness or My
Ness' has no role to play, you will go on investigating within
yourself & completely withdrawn into the valley of silence with no
comparison or superiority of anyone, as the mind is missing and
no role to play. You find people feeling extremely happy , cheerful, blissful and full of Smiles. The more and more the mind distances
itself from the ego-self, completely involved in meditation., which
distances the mind from the ego-self and make this Self the Master,
to be in touch with the Self, be the Self. You are the Self.
Life is for knowing the self:- True knowledge is to know the
Self.Life is meant for the acquiring the Self-knowledge. Any degree
of excellence, whether Oxford or Cambridge, Harvard or Columbia, or
University of California, whatever may be the standard of the
university, still life is empty; life is useless. Worldly knowledge
goes on changing or outdated on account of new inventions, whereas, the knowledge of The Self is changeless- that which is changing is
prakrithi or nature or the world. That which is changeless is the
Self, the source. So, knowledge of the Self is necessary because it
is changeless, immortal, eternal, nectarine, blemishless, spotless,
having neither beginning nor end. It is infinite, vast, all
pervading, cosmic, universal, Self, whereas it knowledge narrows
down to the study of a hairpin! But knowledge of the Self is
Spiritual, Divine, Eternal, Changeless and Immortal; Non-competition
and Non-comparison are the fundamental qualities of Self-knowledge.
The Self in you and in me is the same Self, which is in the whole
organic world -- plant world, animal world and mineral matter. No
one is superior to anybody because there are no ‘others’. You are
bliss. You are the eternal Self. You are never going to die because
you were never born. You were never born to die. Body appears; body
disappears, that’s all. Body appears and body disappears; but YOU
remain.Like a car, which has an outward body but runs on inertia of
petrol Similarly this body functions on the inertia of the Soul. You
as the Self remain forever. So there is nothing like birth date or
death anniversary. It is only the appearance of the body and the
disappearance of the body, that’s all.
