SAI MA love you .......
Tatya suffered for many, many, many years on his bed with terrible cancer. He couldn’t walk. He was very sick. Everyday he was vomiting blood. From Tatya’s childhood days, he had served Baba food, made Baba change his clothes, washed his clothes, swept the Dwarkamai, got the flowers, made the fire everyday, and when the rain came brought food. He did all that since his childhood days. Suddenly he got a huge disease. For many years he was lying down on the cot. Baba completely ignored that guy. He stopped seeing him for many years.
All the villagers, the thirty or forty houses in that small hamlet, were hugely surprised. Even though Baba was walking past the door next to where Tatya was staying, he didn’t look in at him. “I don’t need to see that guy.” Tatya was on his bed having huge heartbreak. Already he was a diseased person and then he saw Baba walking by and thought, “But he doesn’t come to see me.”
All the villagers had huge doubt and confusion, “Hey, are you really a fair master? What is this dharma Baba? What is your leela? For many, many, many years Tatya did service to you. Now he is so sick. If you can’t heal him, at least just go and give few loving words. Just sit and make him happy. Just touch him, ‘Don’t worry.’ Just tell him something. Everyday he’s crying. He wants to see you but he can’t come.”
Even when someone wanted to carry Tatya to the Dwarkamai Baba’s strongly said, “No don’t bring him.”
On October 17, 1918 during the Maha Vijayadashami Festival, only Laxmibhai and Baba were in Dwarkamai. Mahalsapati and a few devotees had come from the village and said, “Baba today is the Mother Divine Festival. We made beautiful food for you. Please come and take food in our home. Also, Tatya’s final request is for you to come see him today. Every year he was the main person to decorate your Dwarkamai and make the lights for the Mother Divine Festival. So, please, he’s asking.”
Baba said, “It’s not your business guys. It’s time to eat your lunch. It’s 1 p.m. Go and take lunch. Get out from my Dwarkamai.” He was screaming at them. Everybody knew about Baba’s nature. “Okay that’s fine.”
Baba was sitting in his small Dwarkamai temple and Laxmibhai was sweeping the floor and getting ready to go home to bring food to Baba. He was sitting and watching the fire and talking different languages. Laxmibhai couldn’t understand. She also had a big idea on Baba, “Oh, he is, he is.” Everybody’s thinking Baba was crazy talking in different ways.
Then suddenly Baba said, “In a few minutes your Swami is going to take off.” She couldn’t understand, “Oh, for a long time you keep on saying that you’re taking off.” Then Baba started to cough and from his mouth blood started to come out. A lot of blood came out.
Suddenly Laxmibhai saw him, “Hey what happened to you?”
Then she jumped with her sari and said, “Oh Baba, what happened? You want to drink some water? I will bring water to you.”
Baba said, “Stop. Listen. I’m not ready for you to talk to me. I have to talk to you. You have to listen.” He gave her nine coins from his pocket, all different ways to reach God: surrender, bhajans, meditation, and many techniques which he told her in Telugu. He said, “A beggar is giving you this donation. You think it is a surprise that I finished my lifestyle as a beggar? Why did I beg? To receive, through the food, the people’s karmas. Even though I took a lot of money from them, really it was only taking lot of karma from them. Now I’m going to heal Tatya. I’m taking his disease. I’m transferring my life to him.”
Then he told her, “Try to see all religions as one. Who really comes to my samadhi and touches it with an open heart, ‘Please Baba, help me,’ my presence and my energy is there to take care of them. Who has my picture in their home and chants my namasmarna will receive my huge blessing and energy.” And, for the first time he gave, Om Sai Sri Sai Jai Jai Sai. Never before had he given his students his namasmarna. “Who does my namasmarana––Om Sai Sri Sai Jai Jai Sai––will receive my huge blessing and energy. From my samadhi I will talk to my students who really need my help. My bones will give the answer to them.” He gave some statements like that.
Then she started to shout to all the villagers, “Come, come, come.” All people came. Already Baba was 90% on his way. He said goodbye.
Suddenly Tatya got up from his bed. He was completely free of his disease. Then he ran to the Dwarkamai and said, “Oh Baba, the world needs you! Why did you transfer your health to me? Why did you take my disease? Please give back my disease. You stay longer. The world needs you. Please, Baba!”
On his final moment he slapped Tatya’s face, “I gave my word to your mom. In the beginning stage the whole village rejected me. They treated me like I was a black magician. Nobody fed me. Your mother secretly brought food outside of the village where I was staying under the trees, in the bushes. She came and fed me then ran back to the village. The whole village had made a big commitment, ‘Nobody ever feed that guy. He’s a black magician. If he enters our village, a lot of bad things will happen.’ But no matter what time it was, early morning hours or midnight times, she brought food and fed me and went back. When your mother was dying she asked only one boon, ‘Take care of my son as your son.’ I gave my word. ‘Don’t worry I will take care of your son. I promise.’ Now I’m doing my dharma.”
Tatya said, “I don’t care what promise you gave to my mom. I don’t care what you promised. We need you. You can kill me now. You have to come back.”
Baba said, “No. It’s time. Mother Divine is calling. I’m taking off. Goodbye.” Then he took off. Then later the world started to know about his greatness. But when he was alive all the people treated him like a crazy man.
