  • OM SAI RAM!

The omnipresence of Shri Sai Baba demonstrated that he knows everything that has happened,

happening and will happen in the lives of all  creatures in the world. In addition to this, he also

demonstrated that omnipresence of God is also manifested in the non-living things.

This provides an effective check on the evil propensities of devotees.

But still, he always said, “I am the slave of God”; “Allah Malik”.
A Person, who has controlled his mind, can achieve any success in his life. How far you are trying to control your mind?
The mind that judges not others ever remains tension-free.

  • Baba's vachan

Baba boley: I was born to serve mankind and to make Shirdi a blessed place, where the rich and the poor, literate and illiterate, the pious and the saintly, the wordly and the wise could assemble and remember the higher spirit of things as manifested by the Supreme Being who is omnipresent.
I live in one and all. I live in Shirdi, but I also live in the heart of each and every devotee who worships me and pays obeisance to me.

My message is simple: Love all and be kind to all because I live and exist in all.

So if you worship all - animals and men alike - you will never fail to serve me.

Be my bhakta and the inheritor of all that I have to give you - blessings, bliss and benediction.

Shirdi is holy. My guru stayed here; my friends stayed here; and now you visit here.

May God's abundant grace be upon you all.

  • According to Shri Sai Satcharitra, what is the Importance of Human Birth?

In this wonderful universe, God has created billions (84 lacs according to Hindusastra calculation) of creatures or beings (including Gods, demigods, insects, beasts and men) inhabiting heaven, hell, earth, ocean, sky and other intermediate regions.

Of these, those creatures or souls, whose merits preponderate, go to heaven and live there till they enjoy the fruits of their actions, and when this is done, they are cast down while those souls, whose sins or demerits preponderate, go down to hell, and suffer the consequences of their misdeeds for so long a time as they deserve.

When their merits and demerits balance each other, they are born on earth as human beings, and are given a chance to work out their salvation. Ultimately when their merits and demerits both drop down (are got rid of) completely, they get their deliverance and become free.

To put the matter in a nutshell, souls get their births or transmigrations according to their deeds and intelligence (development of their minds).

    Jaisairam.

  • Surrender whole heartedly to god keeping in mind what I have told you and Nimonkar earlier.

Visit and have the darsan of mahatmas frequently.

One should follow the moral way of life punctiliously and do only those actions which brings merit.

By such conduct your heart will be pure at the end of your time.

Do not be deluded at your end by increasing your love or being infatuated by any person or object.

Call upon god with a mind stilled in concentration. Meditate upon your Ishta.

By such meditation, you will achieve samipya mukti at the end.

A Person, who has controlled his mind, can achieve any success in his life. How far you are trying to control your mind?

  • Meaning Of Word 'Sai' As Explained By Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans

Sai devotees always chant the word 'Sai'. It has become a mantra for them. But very few people know its meaning.

The meaning of 'Sai' could be very well understood by reading 'Shri Ramkrishna Vachnanamrut' . One would be surprised to know that the meaning of the word is similar to the life of Sai Baba. It is more surprising that when Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans explained it, he was living in Bengal. Before we proceed to analyse the meaning of the word 'Sai', first some similarities between he lifestyle of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and Shirdi Sai Baba has to studied as the meaning has some relation of it.

Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and Shirdi Sai Baba lived in almost similar ages. Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans birth was in the year 1837 and Sai Baba's birth was in the year 1838 (approximately) . Both the saints had similarities in their thoughts and teachings. Both had said that all the religions are one. People of all religion go to the same God. People of all religions should live with brotherhood following this rule. Ram of Hindus, Allah of Muslims and Jesus of Christians are one and same. People call them by such names according to their castes and creed, but in the end they are calling only one God.

Both the saints have put the same question that though there exists similarity of Gods, then why people quarrel with each other? Why do they behave live fools? So it was emphasized that people should live in unison. Though the paths are different, everybody has to go the same place. It is said that saints know each other and are one with each other.

Once Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans was seated in a room of Dakshineshwar temple. The author of famous work 'Shri Ramkrishna Vachnamrut', Shri Master Maharaj was also present. At that time, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans had explained the meaning of 'Sai' in his pravachan, "In the opinion of power, the one who has acquired the world i.e. a Siddha Purush is said to be Koul, according to Vedant, it is Paramhans, so according to Boul Vaishnav (a sub custom of Bengal) it is called Sai. Boul Vaishnav of Bengal and Varkari of Maharastra are similar. So Sai is the last limit. When Boul's became Siddha, it is called 'Sai'. There is total indifference in this situation. The people wear a necklace of which is half made up of cow's bones and the other half is made up of tulsi (Tulsi is herb considered as auspicious as per Hindu tradition). This Siddha person follow and respect both Hindu and Muslim religion. He is 'Neer" for Hindus and a 'Peer' for Muslims.

In this way, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans has explained the meaning of word 'Sai'. We can see the character of Sai Baba same as the meaning. Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans used to sing a bhajan "Ek Aise Bhavka Fakir Aayaa Hai, Jo Hidnuo Ka Devataa Aur Musalamano Ka Peer Hai"

One more surprising fact is that in the year 1886, Sai Baba took Samadhi for three days and in the same year, Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans had taken Samadhi. Saints only know their deeds, but there is no doubt that they both were one. They both knew each other's deeds.

Thus it is clear from this that when Sai Baba first came to Shirdi, Goddess Saraswati only spoke in the voice of Mhalsapati 'Come Sai'.

  • Shirdi Sai Baba did not allow to take His Photograph

Once some young boys went to Shirdi for Sai Baba’s darshan. They had bought camera with them as they wished to take Sai Baba’s photograph. After one or two days they presented their wish to Shama (Madhavrao Despande). Madhavrao planned that when Sai Baba returns from Lendibaug and reaches near Sathe Wada, he would request Him to wait for a while and during that time, the boys would capture the photograph.

As per their plan, the team along with Shama waited for Baba to return from Lendibaug by keeping the camera ready to capture Baba’s photo. Just then Baba came and asked, “Shamya, (sometimes Baba used to call Madhavrao ‘Shamya’ lovingly) What is this? Shama answered, “Baba, these boys wants to capture your photograph, please wait for a while”. Sai Baba said, “Tell these boys not to capture any photograph and just break the wall” and went away.

By the words, “Break the wall”, Sai Baba meant that He was not in only three and half cubits of body, but He was everywhere. So why there is any need to capture His photograph. There is a wall of ego, proud, laziness and break that wall. After breaking the wall of differentiation, devotees can be one with Him.

In an another incident, an expert photographer of Bombay came to Shirdi for darshan of Sai Baba. He wanted to capture Sai Baba’s photograph secretly and that’s why he had bought his camera with him. He captured the photograph. When the photograph was developed, it contained the face of the photographer’s guru instead of Sai Baba’s face. He was surprised to see such a divine miracle of Sai Baba. But later he understood that Sai Baba wanted to say that we should worship and serve only our guru.

  • Baba wants His devotees to follow their own path

Once a gentleman came for Baba’s darshan from Thane District. Baba said to him, “You continue your worship of Lord Hanumanji”. Why Baba gave such an advice, the gentleman failed to understand. When he went to Wada, people there asked him, “Do you worship Lord Hanumanji daily?” at that point he was reminded and said, “Yes, there is a Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in front of my house and I do not eat anything without going to the temple and worshipping Lord Hanuman.” Thus Baba made his many years worship firm.

Baba did not have His independent cult or tradition. Baba did not ask anybody to leave their present worship and worship Him only. But He showed the right path to the one who forgets it again.
