  • Past, Present and Future are but three "time" states and Baba has the power to know

about the past of a devotee that led to his present state and also forsee how he will be

moving into the future. As He knows what future holds, Baba by virtue of His power,

prevents an unhappy event of the future for His devotee and ensures

a happy life here in and here after.

OM SAI SRI SAI JAYA JAYA SAI!!!
Let us pray at the feet of Sai Baba who is the incarnation of all gods and protector of all,

to show mercy on us, and increase our devotion towards him.

  • :D :-*Eleven Assurances of Sai Baba:D :-*

Whoever puts his feet on Shirdi soil, his sufferings would come to an end.

The wretched and miserable would rise into plenty of joy and happiness, as soon as they climb the steps of my Mosque.

I shall be ever active and vigorous even after leaving this earthly body.

My tomb shall bless and speak the needs of my devotees.

I shall be active and vigorous even from my tomb.

My mortal remains would speak from my tomb.

I am Ever living to help and guide all, who come to me, who surrender to me and who seek refuge in me.

If you look at me I look at you.

If you cast your burden on me, I shall surely bear it.

If you seek my advice and help, it shall be given to you at once.

There shall be no want in the house of my devotees.

  • Remember Him (Sai Baba) always with love, for He was engrossed in doing good to all, and always abided in His Self. To remember Him only is to solve the riddle of life and death. This is the best and easiest of Sadhanas, as it involves no expenditure. A little exertion here brings great rewards. So as long as our senses are sound, we should, minute my minute, practice this Sadhana. All other Gods are illusory ; Guru is the only God. If we believe in Sad-guru's holy feet, he can change our fortune for the better. If we serve Him nicely, we get rid of our Samsar. We need not study any philosophy like the Nyaya and the Mimansa. If we make Him our Helmsman, we can easily cross over the sea of all our pains and sorrows. As we trust the helmsman in crossing rivers and seas, so we have to trust our Sadguru in getting over the ocean of worldly existence. The Sadguru looks to the intense feeling and devotion of his devotees, endows them with knowledge and eternal bliss.

  • Baba has promised, “I shall be active and vigorous even from the tomb,” and it is perhaps in the Mandir that we can most fully experience the phenomenon of Sai Baba and the remarkable way he has touched the hearts and lives of millions of people from all over the globe.   Baba’s omniscient presence is felt when one has Baba’s glance, when one sits at Baba’s feet .

  • Material Wealth

"Ramathe Raam.. Aaaojee.. Aaaojee.. ..udiyaan ki goniyaan laaojee.."
(Oh Playful Rama.! .come on..and bring with you sacks of udi.)

Baba used to sing merrily, whenever He was in a cheerful mood. The power and greatness of udi, the sacred ash, is well known. It is believed that udi confers upon the devotees, health, prosperity, freedom from anxiety, and many other worldly gains. One peculiarity of this Saint God is that He encouraged His followers to seek material wealth. There were several incidents where Sainath Himself brought about a particular longing of the devotees during casual conversation, and benefited them appropriately. One famous parable of Sai Baba goes as follows: "My coffers are always open.. Come and fill your sacks as much as you want.." Now, material wealth, non-attachment, self surrender, salvation...How can they be all together? Don't they seem contradicting each other? How can one ask for worldly riches yet at the same time develop non-attachment?

Asking and receiving the material benefit confirms one's faith in Sadguru, the most important aspect of the spiritual journey. How can one know that he/she will get something unless he/she asks for it and gets it? Receiving benefits through His grace confirms and increases the faith in Him. This should be taken as a cognitive assurance from the Guru and logically, it must make one to pay careful and close attention to what the Guru says. Material and spiritual benefits are two separate entities and by separating them so, the need for each of them is well defined. Usually, it is a practice to justify one's wants based on the needs. However, a careful observation will reveal that there is no end for human needs and material wants are akin to a never-ending chain of temporary events perpetrated by the myth. Faith in Guru and His dispensation will also lead to the sense of contentment with the material wants. If one contemplates on Sadguru Sainath's coffers, it will be evident that the reference made was to something beyond material. Something that is perennial and something that results in everlasting happiness of His company.

  • In Gita, Lord Krishna has given express assurance that those who are totally dedicated to Him with implicit faith and those who worship Him incessantly are helped and protected by Him. Sai Baba has given a similar promise to His devotees. His symbolic discourse with Shyama fully reflects his divine assurance to devotees who place unflinching faith in his protection as guardian Godfather.

Shyama was a school teacher. He became the first knowledgeable and conscious follower, devotee and propagator of Sai Baba's glory among the incoming educated and elite persons who visited Shirdi occasionally during olden days.

At first Shyama considered Sai Baba as a crazy fakhir. He was attracted to Baba as he was fond of tobacco and Baba used to give him sips of chili. After having a close company of Baba, the intelligence and education of Shyama brought home the understanding to him, that the strange behavior of the Master has some scheme behind it. He used to select good and pious persons for blessing and granting udhi with boons, whereas Baba at once found out the black sheep and wicked persons in society and remonstrated them. Thus Shyama who used to treat Baba as a mad fakhir and came only to enjoy and relish tobacco smoking, came to realise that Baba was the wisest among men and greatest among the sadhus of contemporary decades. Slowly he became the introducer, mediator and follower of Baba and used his affinity as a media to incoming devotees.

Once Baba gave a book of Vishnu Sahasra Namam taken by Him form the bundle of a Ramadasi, Shyama refused to accept it. Instead he requested Baba to protect him, remove his worries directly without the mediation of book or name. Baba then assured (in the words of Sai Geetayan) as follows:-

"O! Shyama is it necessary for me to repeat this to you every time that I carry the burden of my devotees for ever. I swear by the sacred flames burning in the Dhuni. There will be nothing short in the house of my devotee. He will be never destitute of food and clothing. Those who forget their body consciousness in my memory are blessed by me. I carry their burden. Those who will climb the footsteps of this mosque will be lifted up from the mire of this magic and transitory samsara. I will carry them on my shoulders to the yonder bank of peace, tranquility and deliverance. These devotees are dearer to me than my own soul because they forget themselves in the recitation of my name and meditation of my form. Shyama - I carry their burdens. I have repeated this a million times to you".

Baba has not left the world of devotees although he has left his human body. He is beside, before, behind and accompanying his devout followers. All burdens are to be placed at his feet by the devotees and behave in the world with 'Shraddha' and 'Saburi'. In fact this is the summing up of what Baba did and said during his lifetime. Shyama is the first and foremost comrade devotee assured in straight and direct terms.

  • one should have faith in Saibaba .No matter whatever one faces in the day to day life, one must have strong belief that Sri Saibaba is there to protect and the consequences are definitely for ones own good. When one cultivates this belief that Baba will always protect us, and that the inconveniences one faces in life are only for a small period and that these are the consequences of ones own mistakes, definitely one can become consistent with their devotion to Baba. We don't bring anything when we are born, we don't take anything when we pass away, only thing remains is the salvation we get by always remembering and devoting ourselves to Saibaba.

  • In Sai Satcharitra it has been mentioned that Saints assign services to the  devotees in a peculiar way, which devotees long for.The saints inspire the work and the devotees become an indirect cause /instruments to achieve the objective.

To quote an instance in the year 1700,Shaka year, poet Mahipati wanted to write the lives of saints and saints in turn helped in getting the work done and by their (saints) inspiration he wrote Bhakta Vijaya,Sant Vijaya,Bhakta Leelamrut, and Sant Leelamrut.Same was with Das- Ganu Maharaj who wrote Bhakta Leelamrut and Sant Kathamrut. There are others like Mrs.Savitribai Ragunath Tendulkar who wrote a book describing wonderful leelas of Baba.Amidas Bhavani Mehta who published some stories on Sai Baba in Gujrati; .some Nos. of Sainath Prabha, a magazine published by Dakshina Bhiksha Sanstha of Shirdi, are also published

  • Hemadpant who thought that he was not fit to undertake the  writing of Sai Satcharitra completed the work  and is evident from Baba's words :-"Let him make a collection of stories and experiences, keep notes and memos; I will help him. He is only an outward instrument. I should write Myself My autobiography and satisfy the wishes of My devotees. He should get rid of his ego, place (or surrender) it at My feet. He who acts like this in life, him I help the most. What of My life-stories? I serve him in his house in all possible ways. When his ego is completely annihilated and there is left no trace of it, I Myself shall enter into him and shall Myself write My own life. Hearing my stories and teachings will create faith in devotees' hearts and they will easily get self - realization and Bliss; let there be no insistence on establishing one's own view, no attempt to refute other's opinions, no discussions of pros and cons of any subject."

  • “If you spread your palms with devotion before Me, I am immediately with you, day and night. Though I am here bodily, still I know what you do; beyond seven seas. Go wherever you will, over the wide world. I am with you. My abode is in your heart and I am within you. Always worship Me, who is seated in your heart, as well as, in the hearts all beings. Blessed and fortunate, indeed, is he who knows Me thus.”

-Satcharitra chapter 15. Baba imparted beautiful and important lesson to Mr. Cholkar in chapter 15.
