Im in a pathetic condition, recently i lost my job, im in plan of starting a new company with the engineering products. But in this situation can i proceed or look for another job. Please answer

Dear Madhuma,

If You want to start your own business. Please consider :
1. What would be source of funds ? You have some saving amounts or borrowings from banks/market (Do you have any property for mortgage?) or Family Funds?
2. Do You Have sound experience in that field or You will depend on others?
3. What would be pay back period i.e. when you will start earning profit?
4. Can you maintain house hold expenses for at least six months without any income in hand?
5. Will you get support from your family as in initial months it would be very hard to spare time with them, you have to focus only on your business? Is your family emotionally matured ?
6. You want to start your business because you have no job in hand or you are really enthusiastic about your venture ?

If You have to arrange funds at your own and you are not technically sound and depend on others for know-how, Better Be in job for some more time. Make a proper plan, research, save money and then after two or three years again review the position and take rational decision.

This is my personal opinion, based on experience.

Dear Sai Ram,

Thanks for your answer, after posting the question i received a interview call and been appointed as asst. manager production in a company. I have joined the company and doing my job, but its my long term ambition to start my own manufacturing plant for which I've saved money specially to fulfill it.

I'm technically sound in the product which I've planned to manufacture, where i can deliver with lost cost and high quality than others.

Going to job parallel i'm continuing the launching process of my own product with the permission of our current management.

Its all Sai Rams play on me to get into such dual role.
