Train no.1333  - CST via Manmad to Puntamba and then
Train no.1334 - A Shuttle Train from Puntamba to Shirdi`s "Sainagar" Station.

The train will leave CST at 10.55 p.m. and reach Shirdi at 10.30 a.m. the next day.
The return train will leave from Shirdi at 4.40 p.m. and reach CST at 4.25 a.m.
(via Dadar- Thane- Kalyan- Pune- Daund- Ahmednagar- Puntamba stations with 22 halts on the way.)

Latest News - Yatra.com, IRCTC tie up for Online Rail Bookings

 Online travel services provider Yatra.com said in a press release isuued today that it has tied up with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporatin Ltd (IRCTC) for providing train bookings on its website, www.yatra.com.


IRCTC has provided the reservation backend while the booking site has been created by Yatra.com, the release said.

Under this service, users can view all available trains, timings, fares and seat availability for 5 days on a single screen, in addition to be book and cancel online. Tatkal seats and senior citizen quotas too are available for booking.

Speaking about the launch, Dhruv Shringi, Co-founder and CEO, Yatra.com, said, “Travel by Indian Railways is the single largest and most economical mode of public transport in India, with over 1.2 million travellers booking and travelling through 7,000 passenger trains daily."
 
Other travel portals such as www.Cleartrip.com are already providing online bookings on Indian Railways.

Lalu inaugurates new train from Shirdi to Puntamba

Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today inaugurated a new daily train service from Shirdi to Puntamba in the district. The train will run on a regular basis from Puntamba to Mumbai.

Mr Yadav, who arrived here by an Air Force plane, drove from Aurangabad to Shirdi for ''darshan'' of Sai Baba, before pressing the electronic button at Sai Nagar Railway station to formally inaugurate the service. Mr Prasad also gave away cash awards worth Rs 20 lakh to railway employees for completing the Rs 80 crore project in a record time. He also announced new train services to Shirdi from Lucknow, Patna, Delhi and Hyderabad in future.

He also presented the cash prizes of Rs 10,000 each to the driver and the guard of the train.
