Telegu Film on Shirdi Saibaba launched

A Telugu film on the life of Shirdi Saibaba is on the anvil. Titled `Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Saibaba’ the film has been launched at a function in the city on Thursday. Director and producer BV Reddy not only dons the title role but also is producing the film under SRR Creations banner.
Mohan Babu sounded the clapboard for the film. Home Minister K Jana Reddy who graced the occasion as a chief guest switched on the camera. The film will have Nagababu, Suman, Siva Parvathi and Siva Krishna in other important roles. G Ramakrishna is directing the devotional flick. The film is currently being shot at five different sets of a Shirdi village erected on Road No 25 in Jubilee Hills. Set to be completed in three schedules, the film has music scored by Lalit Suresh. Director B Gopal was also present on the occasion.
Shooting of Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Saibaba directed by G Ramakrishna and produced by BV Reddy under the banner of SRR Creations with the producer himself playing the title role was launched in Hyderabad on February 12. Dr Mohanbabu gave the clap, while home minister K Janareddy switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of B Gopal.
Producer BV Reddy says, “I am very happy to play the title role. We will continue the shooting for about one month in and around Hyderabad and complete the film in a single schedule.”
Director G Ramakrishna says, “We are trying to portray Saibaba's role in a different angle. We will highlight the British rule and the problems faced by the people during their regime. We are also trying to explain the meta-physical relationship of Baba with the freedom fighters.”
According to the music director there are seven songs in the film. Nagababu, Suman, Sivakrishna, Brahmaji, Narayana Rao, Raghunatha Reddy, Ramireddy, Kota Sankara Rao, Satya Reddy, Srinivasa Reddy, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Hemasundar, Chittibabu, Sarika Ramachandra Rao, Siva Satyanarayana Sivaparvathi, Ramaprabha, Indrani, Divya Reddy and others are in the cast.
Dialogues are by Kommanapalli Ganapati Rao, lyrics are by Ashokteja, Gurucharan and Parimi Ramanarasimham, music is by Lalith Suresh, camera is by Srinivasa Reddy, editing is by Menaga Sreenu, while story, screenplay and direction are by G Ramakrishna.

End of shoot for ‘Jagathguru Sri Shirdi SaiBaba’

‘Jagathguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba’ enacted and produced by BV Reddy on SRR Creations banner is a Telugu movie made to inculcate the morals and teachings of Sai Baba to the younger generation. The entire shooting schedule has been completed for this film directed by Ramakrishna.
Lastly, the crew canned some of the scenes in an outdoor schedule which completed the last leg of production. For picturizing shots in eye captivating locales, two of the schedules were reeled in the beautiful hilly regions near Yaganti in Karnool district. We made a promise on the launch date that the movie will be the best of our work and made it true now, said producer BV Reddy.
Post production work has begun as of part of which editing is now in progress. The audio launch dates will be announced soon.

Directed by G.Ramakrishna, on SRR Creations banner BV Reddy is producing and enacting as ‘Jagathguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba’. The music composed by Lalith Suresh is launched on March 25th in Hyderabad.
Ex-Central minister T.Subbirami Reddy released the audio CDs and presented to SV Krishna Reddy.

The devotional film 'Jagadguru Sri Shiridi Saibaba' featuring BV Reddy under SRR creations banner and directed by Gooda Ramakrishna will be released on Novemebr 19th. The announcement has been made by Dr Mohan Babu in a press conference on Thursday morning. He said, "My friend BV Reddy has got good taste in making films. He has given an impressive performance especially in the second half of the film."BV Reddy commented that taking Mohan Babu as his inspiration he did this film. The film deals not only with devotional aspects of Saibaba but also the real life incidents that he faced the society.
