There is nothing wrong in your question..manmeet ji. My father who is no longer was in the Indian Foreign Service, hence my education and living was spread around. I graduated (12th ) from the U.S. I completed my basic degree in Medicine in Madras.I went on to study in the u.k and stayed there for several years.I returned to India on my father'sretirement after two extensions to Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad in particular. I practiced Cardiology in England for 8 years and chose to resign and join my parents in Hyderabad. I am not sure of the context in which you ask but I have nothing great to put forth. Suffice it to say Baba Baba allowed me the best of education in the best of universities outside India. I am an MRCP and acredited Cardiologist.There are a few other degrees but what good are they ? A doctor's credentials is not his degrees but his work ethos.Any thing more sister ?As far as your Domcet is concerned it is a simple analgesic with an a drug to prevent vomiting.I think you may perhaps have migraine in a very mild form. You do not require any preventive medication.

My dear Sai family,

It is strange but a thought about a particular post occurred to me and the morning newspaper discussed the same topic. My practice since the last 19 years has been a little different.I do not encourage many appointments and spend 45 mins with each person who comes along. I carry out a full documentation of the history, a full general examination and then after reaching a provisional diagnosis sit with the person and his accompanying attendants and explain to them my clinical findings and discuss all possibilities.This includes diagrams if required as they are easily grasped by the patient and put forth what we ought to do to resolve the problem at hand.This is done in a positive and jovial atmosphere and invariably I end up discussing not only medical aspects but ask several completely non medical things such as where they live, how they enjoy their professions and how their general feelings.In most situations after starting this form of approach people ask me some personal questions, to which I do not hold back. I repeatedly remind them that they should ask whatever that springs to their mind and not hold back for fear of making me uncomfortable.You will be surprised as to how many of them have turned into my freinds and one person has also registered their name and is now a member of this blessed abode of Baba.

The reason I write this may be thought of some form of self adulation.If that is the case I would emphatically say no. This has been my modality of practice and Baba knows that.The one exception I have is I do not treat or allow any of my relations to see me in this light.I always refer them to another colleague.

I have always asked and requested my sai family that when you go to see a doctor, kindly remember that you are consulting him/her, and as such you should leave no question left behind unanswered and if the doctor wants to see you for five mins and then attempts to close the session, do not allow him the opportunity.Do not budge from your seat in front of him until you feel completely satisfied.If tests are written or asked for please ask what they are meant for and what exactly does the doctor seek by asking these tests.Ask about your preliminary medication that may be prescribed and whether you may experience any side effects from them.Do not fear any irritation on his part for if there are signs of any then he is not judging you properly.Get your tests done at any good place of your choice, not his directions for approaching a laboratory.When you get the tests done please copy the tests down on a slip of paper and ask the diagnostic laboratory to perform these. Do not reveal the name of the doctor who requested them as you will be pestered by the staff of the diagnostic lab to do so.Please mention that you are getting these tests done off your own accord and the referral doctor should indicate self viz... naming you rather than the doc you had visited.Ask for a discount, for they are already making a huge profit and part of it will be directed to the doctor you had consulted, if you mention their name.If they do not give you a discount pretend that you will be more inclined to have these tests at another reputable lab.They will cower down and give you a discount that will surprise you.

From my part, I recommend the same to every patient.An example, a coronary Ct angiogram which in Hyderabad costs approx Rs 10,000, is got done for 6500 only.You are only contributing to the doctors pension fund if you do otherwise.


Do not hesitate to take a second opinion, if you feel uncomfortable with your inital doctor.


I am writing this post so that my sai family does not fall prey to the commercialism that is unacceptable in this profession.I am not singing my glories..that is the truth.I cannot be more emphatic than that.Baba will always be there to help in every facet of your life.I am just a mere puppet in his arms.

I am not even sure if this board is being of help. I felt I could do some service in the form of medical help. I am not sure now. I think it could have been presumptious of me to think Baba wanted me to start this thread. I am now in a dilemma as to whether he really meant me to do it or if it was my own thought process conjuring up his permission.yes I do not deny that a few members have put in some wonderful words of encouragement.I am indebted to them.However at this point I stand utterly confused.

hello Dr..how are you??I'm very sorry for the late reply as today only i read Ur MSG.I am from Malaysia..I'm using the zinocoderm cream for almost 4 years.when i use the cream it will disappear but if i stop using the cream it will come back.i have it from the top of my head till my leg.the worst is at my stomach,elbow n my lower limbs.I even used the steroid injection once..it worked but for a week only after tat it got worst.I have been to many skin Dr in Malaysia,tey suggest me to use steroid injections.CZ tey told its impossible for them to cured it but Tye Can only reduce it.They did ask me to stop eating seafoods,egg n chicken.I've follow everything but nothing worked.its get more wen I'm stress.i have it till my fingers.I feel shame wen others specially my patients ask me.

Please help me..

I do not feel you suffer from psoriasis.Zincoderm and steroids are not particularly useful in Psoriasis.
You may be having some other skin condition.Could you perhaps take a picture of the affected skin area like your hands or arms and scan them and send them to my mail.I shall ask some dermatologist of good standing to have a look and proffer their opinion.My mail id should be available on the site at the left hand side. If you have any trouble please post a message right here and I shall try to help as best as Baba permits me.
Please do however remember your nobility in that you are a nurse which clearly demonstrates  the service you to render to needy people.This shows your caring and kind nature.As I had mentioned before beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Baba does not see your skin but he blesses you with his love for your innermost happiness.
