  • OM SAI RAM!!!

I have learned in life to be happy regardless of life circumstances

I have learned in life to be humble in greatness

I have learned in life to respect everyone and not to look down upon others

    I have learned in life that time changes;
the weak can be strong and the strong can be the weak

I have learned in life that a single day to wake up
after a night sleep in good strength is the richest day in life

I have learned in life that words can be a blessing and a curse

I have learned in life to be content but not to be a mediocre

I have learned in life to take my time but be poised to dare

I have learned in life that the river we use is the river that can use us

I have learned in life that the rich are rich because the poor are poor

I have learned in life that regardless of how rich you are,
you need free air to live freely

I have learned in life that taking the lead doesn't
    mean being the champion

I have learned in life that every one is a prey to someone

I have learned in life that we all do answer the same life questions

I have learned in life that when you skip one life question,
you will answer another life question

I have learned in life that the old can be the young
and the young can be the old

I have learned in life that what you spend is what someone receives

I have learned in life that problems are there
    because people have created them

I have learned in life that the seeds we sow are the fruits we eat

I have learned in life that the same things that amuses us are
the same things that can annoy us

I have learned in life that today is tomorrow and tomorrow is today

I have learned in life to be simple but complex

I have learned in life that hard work without wisdom is
    an effort in futility

I have learned in life that the tongues that hail are the
    tongues that abuse

I have learned in life that prayer and faith can work greatly
    without great works

I have learned in life that the end is much more
    important than the beginning

I have learned in life to ponder to wonder

Be Happy, Be positive and Be Strong!

  • OM SAI RAM!!!

Surrender means silence, in-depth complete silence- one who has surrendered,
does not question anything, as such person realizes that life is happening
    as per MIGHTY WILL.

So such person does not even pray for anything-Not even to change ONESELF
according to time & situation. Time & situation looses relevance for such person.

The best way is out to praying to BABA- Babaji please make us surrender
at your mighty will, Once such surrender happens, everything else will disappear.
No stress, No ambiguity, No rat race- Just calmness, serenity, watchful silence.

Now if we look at- Do we have much control on our lives?

A person who have got the grace of SAI & surrender happened ( Surrender can
happen only by HIS GRACE), such person is living like swimming in the direction of
    flowing water current. Blissful, Sat-Chit-Ananad.

People like us who are still striving for HIS Grace- we live like swimming opposite
the direction of flow of water- tired, out of breath. We know complaining wont
change things, but we still complain.

Karma is very strong- Ever thought who was this mighty person who was the reason
for Krishna's death, the person who shot Krishna with an arrow thinking of a deer?

This was Bali to whom Shri Ram (last incarnation of Divine) shot in disguise. Now if Krishna,
the avatar had to pay off karma, who we are to oppose our OWN DOING?

Let us pray together to SAI, Please make us surrender at your lotus feet, if we continuously
pray we will strong enough to bear our own karmic actions. SAI grace can also lessen
    the severity of karmas.

Be Happy, Be positive and Be Strong!

You can't stop negative thoughts by wishing they would go away,
pushing against them, or feeling bad about having negative thoughts.
Any focus on negative thoughts gives energy to them and increases
them! Your mind has to be set on positive thoughts and good thoughts
because then you're giving energy to that. It's just a matter of practice
and determination so that if you find negative thoughts creeping into
your mind, immediately turn your focus to positive and good thoughts.
And deliberately think them until you feel better!

  • OM SAI RAM!!!

    PRINCIPLES OF KARMA

There was once a man who got lost in the desert. The water in his canteen ran out
two days ago, and he was on his last legs. He knew that if he didn't get some
water soon, he would surely perish. The man saw a shack ahead of him. He thought
it might be a mirage or hallucination, but having no other option, he moved toward it.
As he got closer he realized it was quite real, so he dragged his weary body to the
door with the last of his strength.

The shack was not occupied and seemed like it had been abandoned for quite
some time. The man gained entrance, hoping against hope that he might find
    water inside.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw what was in the shack: a water pump..
It had a pipe going down through the floor, perhaps tapping a source of water
    deep under-ground.

He began working the pump, but no water came out. He kept at it and still
nothing happened. Finally he gave up from exhaustion and frustration. He threw
up his hands in despair. It looked as if he was going to die after all.

Then the man noticed a bottle in one corner of the shack. It was filled with water
and corked up to prevent evaporation.

He uncorked the bottle and was about to gulp down the sweet life-giving water
when he noticed a piece of paper attached to it. Handwriting on the paper read:
"Use this water to start the pump. Don't forget to fill the bottle when you're done."

He had a dilemma. He could follow the instruction and pour the water into the pump,
or he could ignore it and just drink the water.

    What to do?
If he let the water go into the pump, what assurance did he have that it would work?
    What if the pump malfunctioned?
What if the pipe had a leak?
What if the underground reservoir had long dried up?

    But then...

maybe the instruction was correct. Should he risk it?
If it turned out to be false, he would be throwing away the last water he would ever see.

Hands trembling, he poured the water into the pump. Then he closed his eyes,
said a prayer, and started working the pump.

He heard a gurgling sound, and then water came gushing out, more than he
could possibly use. He luxuriated in the cool and refreshing stream.
    He was going to live!

After drinking his fill and feeling much better, he looked around the shack.
He found a pencil and a map of the region. The map showed that he was still far
away from civilization, but at least now he knew where he was and which
    direction to go.

He filled his canteen for the journey ahead. He also filled the bottle and put the
cork back in. Before leaving the shack, he added his own writing below the instruction:
     "Believe me, it works!"

This story is all about life. It teaches us that we must give before we can receive
abundantly. More importantly, it also teaches that faith plays an important role in giving.
The man did not know if his action would be rewarded, but he proceeded regardless.
Without knowing what to expect, he made a leap of faith.

Water in this story represents the good things in life. Think of it as positive energy,
or something that brings a smile to your face. It can be material objects or intangible
qualities. It can represent money, love, friendship, happiness, respect, or any number
of other things you value. Whatever it is that you would like to get out of life,
    that's water.

The water pump represents the workings of the karmic mechanism. Give it some
water to work with, and it will return far more than you put in. This mechanism
traces a great circle, an unbroken path that eventually comes back  to its point of
origin. The energy of this circulation gathers power as it moves along, so that
when it finally returns, it is greatly amplified.

Perhaps you have done a good deed that no one knows about, so you assume
there will not be an effect associated with this particular cause. In reality, you have
but initiated the karmic mechanism in the spiritual realm. You cannot see it, but
it is there all the same, and it begins gathering energy and seeking its way back
    to you immediately.

As we have already noted from the story, the man filled the pump without knowing
if his effort would be rewarded. In the same way, when we emulate and nurture others,
we also act without expecting rewards of any sort.

This principle applies to everything, not just money. For instance, in order to win the
respect of others, one must start by giving others the appropriate respect without
    quibbles or qualms.

Would you like more recognition for the work that you do? If so, then start by recognizing
the achievements of everyone around you. When you truly accept that others are deserving
of recognition, their esteem for you will increase as if by magic.

Would you like to have more friendship in your life? If so, then start by being friendly.
Do not expect anything in return, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the flood of goodwill
and friendliness that comes your way.

Would you like people to see beauty in you? If so, then start noticing beauty in others.
It's easy to see when you pay attention. Everyone around you has an intrinsic beauty
that goes well beyond the physical. When you can see this and start to appreciate it
and marvel at it, a transformation takes place: You become truly beautiful yourself.

In general, whatever goodness you want from life, give it to others first. Give it
cheerfully and willingly, without calculating your gain versus loss as if you are working
a balance sheet. Initiate the circular exchange and relax in the certain knowledge that
no one ever gets short changed.

Think of planting flower seeds in a garden as a metaphor for the karmic mechanism.
Each seed you plant is a process you have set into motion. You understand the principles
that govern the growth of plants and you know the soil is fertile, so you know that
you will see results in the fullness of time. You do not know exactly when or how
the flowers will bloom, and that's perfectly fine.

The cockroach theory for self development

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and  sat on a lady.
She started screaming out of fear. With a panic stricken face and trembling voice,
she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the
cockroach. Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.
The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another
lady in the group. Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue
the drama. The waiter rushed forward to their rescue. In the relay of throwing,
the cockroach next fell upon the waiter. The waiter stood firm, composed himself
and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident
enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up
a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach  responsible for their
    histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?
He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.
It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance
caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife
that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by
    their shouting that disturbs me.

It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle
the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

    Lessons learnt from the story:
I understood, I should not react in life. I should always respond.
The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.
Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.
    A beautiful way to understand............LIFE.
Person who is HAPPY is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life..
He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right..!!

  • OM SAI RAM!!!

    Who Am I?

Keep asking yourself this question again and again – “Who am I?”
This itself paves the way for going deeper into meditation.
Just keep aside whatever you think of yourself or what you feel you are.
This question cannot be answered through words.
One who answers it through words does not truly know.
    This question is very important.
So keep asking this question to yourself again and
again – be it a hundred or a thousand times, over and over.

Then ask yourself, “Why am I?”
I would say first you should know who you really are.
Then think over why you are, and also why you are not.
Think whether there is anyone for whom you are not (in existence).
You are not here to be troubled, you are not here to disturb others either.
You are not here to simply eat, drink and sleep from one day to another.
You are not here to gossip. So when you think deeply in this manner,
you will slowly begin to understand why you are here.
Start making a list of all the things you are not.
Go on negating one (identity or label) thing after another that you are not.
Then you will know why you are here, and that you are here to be useful
and be of help to others around you, and for yourself as well.
When a few people get comfort and relief because of you, then the happiness
and contentment that you get cannot be expressed in words at all.

  • OM SAI RAM!!!

BUDDHA WAS WALKING through a forest.
The woodcutters who were cutting wood nearby ran to him and said,
Stop, please stop! There is a terrible demon in the forest.
He is a cannibal who eats human flesh! After eating a person,
he cuts of the thumb and keeps it safe.

In this way, he has so far collected 999 thumbs.
He needs just one more to make it 1000.
His plan is, once the final thumb is collected,
to string them all up and wear them around his neck!
So please do not go into the forest.
If you go, it would be a big problem for you!

To that, Buddha replied, `I would get no better opportunity than this!’
and entered deep into the forest.

As expected, the demon felled a huge branch of a banyan tree
and appeared in front of Buddha in a cloud of dust.

But Buddha did not run away like others in fright.
He stood strong, firm and said, `if killing gives you pleasure,
you please do so! I accept the fact that you are really strong.

But one thing….Though you have the strength to break the branch
of a banyan tree, you can never attach it back to that tree.
It is very easy to destroy…but difficult to join!’

`You know the art of destroying; I know the art of joining!’
Buddha replied. More than his words, the truth and compassion
    touched the demon deeply.

After that, he became the disciple of Buddha.
    He was Anguli Mala.

The truth of the tale is very simple.
The demon was not a `problem’ for Buddha; instead it was
an opportunity to protect the villagers from further misery.
    That is all!

Life is not something that happens according to a planned agenda.
It is a procession of unexpected opportunities!
In fact each problem is an opportunity for us.

For some, even small matters appear to be giant problems.
There are many who view even a small matter through a
    magnifying glass and get terrified.

A woman approached a Monk and said, ` My son refuses to listen
anything that I say. If this continues, he may not even marry the girl
    I choose for him!’

He asked the woman to bring her son next day and as asked the son
was brought. That little boy was refusing to eat… he was drawing pictures
when asked to write A…B…C.’ her question was, as he was not obeying her
in such trivial matters presently, how could she expect him to listen her
words when he grew up into adulthood?

The farsighted fear was her problem! There are also other types of people…
those who do not stop at viewing the problem with fear; but also magnify
it out of proportion. It is like a monkey which, when bruised, does not leave
    the bruise alone. It continues to scratch till the bruise turns into a big wound;
some even die from such wounds.

It is true we may face problems at times, in our lives, unlike the aforesaid
examples. During such moments, there are two possible ways out for us.
One, catch the bull by the horn and directly confront a problem.
We may come over the problem or the problem could overcome us!

View the problem as it is. Don’t inflate it by your fear thoughts.
Do not consider the problem as a punishment.
    You will definitely suffer.
    Take it as a challenge.
    You will be energized!.

    03. LET OTHERS TAKE YOU AS YOU ARE, OR NOT AT ALL.

    04. YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU USED TO BE, AND THAT'S OK.

    06. DO NOT EDUCATE YOURSELF TO BE RICH, EDUCATE YOURSELF TO BE HAPPY.

    07. BE DETERMINED TO BE POSITIVE.

    08. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THOSE YOU CARE ABOUT.

STRIPPING YOURSELF OF PEOPLE THAT DON'T SERVE YOUR BEST INTERESTS.

    11. IT'S BETTER TO LOOK BACK ON LIFE AND SAY, "I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT,"
THAN TO LOOK BACK AND SAY, "I WISH I DID THAT."

Too much pain changes you. It either breaks you down,
or it makes you much stronger than before.
So never give up before a fight.
Face the problems that come your way.
Never hide your pain from those who love you and care for you.
They are the only ones who can help you fight and never let your soul break.
Their love can help you see things clearly as to
what you want and what you’re fighting for.
Open your heart before them; scream and cry as much as you want.
Don’t hold your tears, let them flow and everything
will become clearer, and you can think about things you want.
You will be able to face a new day.
Never let the problems of yesterday keep you from moving forward.
Let them go through your eyes with tears.

  • OM SAI RAM!!!

    Attitude differs....

When somebody tells me that he has failed in his exams,
my question is, "Is it a law that you will pass every time?"

When someone tells me that my boyfriend broke up with me,
my question is, "Is it a rule that you will have successful relationship everywhere?"

When somebody asks me why am I in depression,
my question is, "Is it compulsory to have confidence at all the time?"

When someone cries to me about his huge business loss
    due to his wrong decision,
my question is, "Is it possible that you take all right decisions?"

The fact is our expectation that life has to be perfect/permanent
is the biggest reason of our unhappiness. One has to understand
the law of impermanence of nature.

After each sunny day, there has to be a dark night, after each
birth there have to be certain deaths, for full moon to come again
it has to pass through no moon. In this imperfection of nature,
    there is perfection.

So stop taking your failures and bad part of your life soooo
personally or intensely, even God does not like to give you pain
but its the cycle through which you have to pass. Prepare yourself
for one more fight after each fall because even failures cannot
    be permanent...!

"If you cannot find the brighter side of life then polish the darker side".
Adjustment of attitude is the only instrument to live a life.

Silently as I read ..sitting by myself I realized…
In life, we all have -
    An unspeakable secret,
    An irreversible regret,
    An un-kept promise,
    An unheard request,
    An irreplaceable loss,
    An unreachable dream,
    An unforgettable person we love.

Still, life is about being happy anyhow…
Because, everything in life can be summed up in just three words…

    “Life Goes On!”

    Have faith and patience,
love truly laugh heartily and cry softly...
move with the ebb and flow of life,

Be Happy, Be positive and Be Strong!

    Self Manage....

There is a huge hole in the heart of all our educations.
It is where the skills and abilities of self-management should be.

No one teaches us how to manage our thoughts, feelings, attitudes
and behaviour, so we find it hard to manage the four Rs – relationships,
    roles, responsibilities and resources.

    So let’s get started.

Consciously choose the quality of your thoughts today –
    accentuate the positive,
    eliminate the negative
    and
    clean up the waste.

Everything, which means everything in your life, begins with your thoughts.

    A Free and Open Mind

A free mind is a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing.

Most people spend much of their time looking for reasons
to be offended. An open mind is never offended because it is free of
    any attachments.

It is never the self that is offended but always the illusion that the
self has of itself that is affected by insult!

If you can really understand this, deeply grasp it's truth, live it each day,
then pain will be no more.

Next time you 'feel' offended look closely within yourself at yourself
and ask yourself what was offended?

If you remain aware you will see that it was only an image of yourself
which you had become attached to, and that image did not resonate
with the image contained in the insult.

If you weren't attached, if you didn't identify with the wrong image
of yourself then there would be no offense taken. You would then
    remain free and therefore happy.

Be Happy, Be positive and Be Strong!

HAVE FAITH, PATIENCE & PERSEVERANCE !!!
