Yes i was wondering to myself what is it that we all want to achieve in life (materially) and the following thoughts came to my mind ...
When we are a child , we want a toy which another child has
When we start going to school , we want a cell phone because many students in class have it
When we start going to high school , we want an iphone bcos that is "chic"
When we start going to college , we need a mustang to flash it around
when we have a girlfriend, we want enough dough to impress our girlfriend and take her to exclusive clubs
When we start working, we want a better salary bcos we are tired of travelling by public transport and want to buy a car
When we get married , we have to earn more bcos we have to provide all that we wanted and more bcos now we have a wife and family
When we have a family , we need more money to get into a exclusive golf club bcos our neighbours do
and since we have joined the club , more money to hire a trainer to help us play golf.
When we have once car in the family, and the children start going to kindergarten and school , we need more money for another car so that wifey can take the kids
When we move up in our workplace we see the high fliers and want a private yacht to just hop on to monte carlo
When we are in monte carlo , how can we not go the famous casino ? so we go spend and loose a lot of money
When we come back from the vacation to the "Real life" we find our bank balance has depleted so need more money
how ? mortgage the house !
The mortgage is pinching our pockets so we need more money to pay it off
i can go on but phew :P let me stop here a little and think ::) , what would be enough for me ideally ?
enough food for twice a day and a roof over my head . isnt it that simple ? but since it is not an ideal world and i am not an ideal person , i go back to square one ;D

The material world is like pouring oil in fire to extinguish it. No amounts of oil poured will extinguish the fire, but will only increase it.
We need association of saints to experience causeless happiness & contentment.

Om sai ram Ganehji
Apne bilkul swach kaha hai agar insaan ki chahta din par din badti jati hai agar hum pehle mangate hai ki humein achi job lagwado ,agar wo puri hojati hai uske baad dusri iccha janam leti hai hum ab chahte hai ki humari salary bad jaye etc,
Insaan ki mann k icchao ka koi limit nahi hai ye bus badti jati hai jaise jaise icha ppuri hoti jati hai waise wasie nai icha janam leti jati hai.Is moh me aake insaan bhagwan ko bhul jata hai, bhagwan ab yaad aat hai jab unpe musibat ati tab wo samajhne lagta hai ki kya galat kia aur kya sahi ,sai sab pe kripa kare aur sabko ache saste pe le jaye

Hazaaron khwahishein aisi,
Ki har khwahish par dum nikale,
Bahut nikale mere armaan,
Lekin phir bhi kum nikale.

I can resist anything but temptation - Oscar Wilde
------------------------------------
Om Sai Ram .... please show the right way to all of us Baba ... please let us learn how to control our desires ... and our temptations ... at least we must learn to keep them within realistic limits .... Uncontrolled desires are the greatest source of frustration and unhappiness ... Where as those who are contended with what ever they have, are the most satisfied and the happiest lot ...
Please help us become this way Baba ...
Om Shri Sai Samarth ...
