Sais besondere Charakteristik
Es gibt viele Heilige, die ihre Häuser verlassen, im Wakd, in Höhlen oder Einsiedeleien leben und versuchen, in der Einsamkeit Befreiung oder Erlösung für sich selbst zu erreichen. Sie kümmern sich nicht um andere Menschen und sind immer in ihr Selbst vertieft. Sai Baba war nicht von dieser Art. Er hatte kein Heim, keine frau, keine Nachkommenschaft, auch keine nahen oder fernen Verwandten. Dennoch lebte Er in der Welt, in der Gesellschaft. Sein Brot erbettelte Er von vier oder fünf Haushalten, Er lebte immer am Fuße des Niem-Baumes, beschäftigte sich mit weltlichen Dingen und lehrte alle Menschen, wie man sich in dieser Welt verhält und handelt. Selten sind die Weisen (sadhu) und Heiligen, die sich nach Erlangen der Gottesschau um das Wohlergehen der Menschen kümmern. Sai Baba war führend unter diesen und deshalb sagt Hemadoant: "Gesenet ist das Land, gesegnet ist die Familie und gesegnet sind die ehrbaren Eltern, denen dieses außergewöhnliche, transzendente, kostbare und reine Juwel - Sai Baba- geboren wurde."

Special Characteristic of Baba

There are many Saints, who leaving their houses, stay in forest, caves or hermitages and remaining in solitude, try to get liberation or salvation for themselves. They do not care for other people, and are always self-absorbed. Sai Baba was not of such a type. He had no home, no wife, no progency, nor any relations, near or distant. Still, He lived in the world (society). He begged His bread from four or five houses, always lived at the foot of the (Neem) tree, carried on wordly dealings, and taught all the people how to act. and behave in this world. Rare are the Sadhus and Saints who, after attaining God-vision, strive for the welfare of the people. Sai Baba was the foremost of these and, therefore, says Hemadpant.

"Blessed is the country, blessed is the family, and blessed are the chaste parents where This extraordinary, transcendent, precious and pure jewel (Sai Baba) was born."
