I know about your affection... Some times I wonder about words and about your thoughts. Really you have a gift of heart from SAI...

I am very gald to have a sister like you and a brother like Ramesh ji.
Astrid, long back, I wrote a mail to your personnel mail ID... I didn't reminded you about it... Did you have it...?

One more thing... I do not understand about your knowledge regarding Indian languages too.. You are using HINDI words too in your msgs.

OK... once again thank you very much for your kind words...

    OM SAI RAM

  • Sreenivas, dear,

so sorry, I did not get your mail. I would of course not have left it unanswered. Would you be so kind and send the same mail again? Either to astrid@ogbeiwi.de or to astrid.ogbeiwi@googlemail.com.

My knowledge of Indian languages is easily explained: In Telugu all I know is Tambi for younger brother which I snatched from somebody's post. In Hindi all I know is
    Bhai for brother
    Bahen for sister and
    Marg for path
Well, you see, the path of brother and sister has a certain significance in my life ... [;)][:)][:)][:)]

It was MY BHAI who taught me bhai and bahen, and marg I knew before (because my best friend's spiritual path is called sahaj marg), but I didn't know it was Hindi. I love languages and mostly find it easy to learn them and by BABA's grace I might learn some more Hindi in not too distant future.

Looking forward to your mail ...

    Om Sai Ram

  • Brother Ramesh ji and sister Astrid

Thank you both for your affection on me. I am very glad to have a place in your hearts as a brother.

Ramessh bhai, your kindness draging the people closer to you. SAI's blessings will be with you all the time.

My dear sister Astrid, you are really very intelligent in learning swiftly about everything.

One thing I have to make a correction in your INDIAN languages. 'TAMBI' is not a Telugu word. It is a Tamil word. In telugu, it is 'TAMMUDU' for younger one and 'ANNAYYA' for elder one. OK...!  I too contributed something to my elder sister in learning [8D].

My pains are somewhat reduced by your kind words.

BABA WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU BOTH... Have a nice day...

Sreenivas, dear, thank you! I was exactly looking for the word for elder brother, because I needed it for someone - great you taught me now. "Annayya" sounds nice and I hope, the someone will like it. [:)]

Let me count this among the happy things that happen in my day today [;)][:)][;)] and I accept your reduced pains as one of the happy things in your day - still, you'll have to name one or two more [;)][:p][:)]

  • Dear Astrid AKKAYYA(sister),

This is one more ... elder sister is 'AKKAYYA' or 'AKKA' and younger sister is 'CHELLI' or 'CHELLELU'. We use 'CHELLI' when we call sister. When we are introducing younger sister to someone, we use 'she is my CHELLELU'(sister). We got the biggest no. of alphabets(56) in our TELUGU language, comparing to other. So, naturally we got so many words to use. One of british officers, Mr. C.B.BROWN said 'TELUGU laguage is the ITALIAN OF EAST'. He also wrote a dictionery of  english to telugu.

Sister I will come back again... have a nice day
