My dearest brother Sreenivas, if you would possibly ever know how dear you are to my heart and how dear to both our hearts! I think of you and your family, too, countless times a day and you are in each and every one of our prayers and in our meditation.
When I thought of what to tell or give you to brighten up your heart and mind, the things I carry in my bag came to mind:
Two feathers, shed by a dove right on the borderline between Germany and Switzerland - may the dove, the symbol of divine spirit and peace give you wings to cross the borderline from negative to blissful thoughts and leave Maya behind, who troubles you a lot these days.
This year's first chestnut, found in front of a restaurant my parents invited us to. The chestnut posesses strong healing powers, it is especially good for your veins, cleanses your blood and gives you lots of strength - may this be the symbol of the final healing of the illness you're suffering from and of new-found strength and may it also be a symbol of the reunion of your family which will happen so soon.
A sweet chestnut found right in front of the house in which I live. The sweet chestnut (as opposed to the "ordinary" chestnut) is edible, absolutely delicious and extremely nourishing. It used to be extra-precious in times past because it feeds people in winter when there are no crops in the fields and food was rare. It is best prepared over an open fire and its fragrance fills the house with the most pleasant of scents, it makes you feel warm and cosy - may this be the symbol that BABA sees you through and provides for you in all the winters of your life - and remind you to take HIS udi [
].
Two of the most wonderful poems someone wrote for me with so much love - may this be the symbol that there are people who think of you with love (and not only two) and may their love bring light and comfort to your heart.
BABA's picture - I'm sur you have it, too, because this is no symbol at all. This is HIS way to say
I AM WITH YOU - ALWAYSAnd now that you know all this - try to shift your awareness from misery to miracles and simply allow them to happen in your life ...
