    BABA, I received an e-mail by Silvia, my colleague and motherly friend who's translations from the French I use to edit that she feels she ows me quite some money. I had not kept track of all I have done for her in the course of the year and intended to do that end of this or beginning of next year. Not only did she decide to sum it all up on my behalf but she also increased my "salary" to 40 Euro per hour (BABA, this is truly an astronomical sum for an otherwise literary translator like me). And in her matter-of-fact, down-to-earth but so very cordial way she wrote: "... making it 15 x 40 = 600 Euro. Send me an invoice."

    [:)][:X][:)] THANK YOU FROM MY HEART FOR THIS TRULY UNEXPECTED GENEROUS SURPRISE GIFT, MOREOVER ON DATTA JAYANTI! [:)][:X][:)]

    What a Surprise and  great news for all of  us, Am toooooooooooooooo  happy for you
    And that a nice  gift well in advance for Christmas on Babas day and  on Datta Jayanthi
    And you know i was just pondering on the similar lines when  i was reading a book on Devotees experiences of Sai baba which  i recently bought at a book store and was reading the night before thursday  " A  devotee has described in her own simple language - " Baba as a giver of  gifts and thursday being so very special and he fills his devotees  bags with lots of gifts on thursday and  some surprises too "

    And the next day i woke up i  had these thoughts in my mind and Lo - You are there with baba surprised gifts
    WOW ..........What a feeling !! When i heard from you  
    For all your hardwork  and love - congrats again !!
