फ़कीर जी,
जिन्दगी बहुत बार इन्तिहाँ लेती है. पर जो अंतिम सांस तक संघर्ष करते है, वोही जीतते है . कई वर्ष पहले बेरोजगारी की वजह से में बहुत दुखी था . लगता था जिन्दगी में कभी काम नहीं मिलेगा , हर आस ख़तम हो गयी थी . मन कहता था कोई भी छोटा मोटा कम कर लो, पर दूसरी तरफ लगता था इतनी मेहनत करने के बाद भी समजौता कयूँ. उस वक़्त एक किताब पड़ी "अन्थोनी रोब्बिंस" की जिसमे उन्होंने कहा था जिन्दगी चाहे कितना भी कष्ट दे आपने को कभी नहीं गिराना . फिर से हिमत बटोरी . काम मिला, धीरे धीरे जिंदगी बदली , ऐसा नहीं फिर मुसीबते नहीं आई पर अब हौसला था , कि में अकेला नहीं , मेरी हिम्मत और मेरे साईं दोनों मेरे साथ है . जिन्दगी तभी इन्तिहाँ लेती है जब उसे आप से उम्मीद होती है . एक साथ सब मुसीबतों को मत देखो , लड़ो एक एक कर के , अपने को अकेला समझ कर नहीं, साईं इस लडाई में साथ है, जीत जरूर होगी . समय की ताकत को पहचानो , उसका इस्तेमाल करो, परिवर्तन अवश्य होगा .
at last you said, you have read lots of books on positive thinking etc., all are good books, but you know there is side effect of these books too (It makes reader to over think more and more). Reading is good, but action is better. In my life i faced one who read many books of stephen covy, attended lots of seminar, but in real life even could not adopt a simple habit of careful listening, and just due to that suffered loss.
So, Again fight with new confidence, even if defeated, still will proud on your defeat as if there is nothing left to receive, one gets divine blessings of Sai, if let the light of Sai remain in the heart, even at worst phase of life, figthing with all thunders.
May Sai Bless You with ultimate strength and great success!

Dear Fakir ji,
You really have had some rough time with people. So, your notion of their 'ugliness' may be justified to some extent. Yes, people in Kaliyug are not as virtuous as we would like them to be. Some of them have no qualms to hurt, abuse and betray others in order to meet their selfish ends. Anyone who is unsuspecting and gullible can be taken for a ride by such insensitive and calculating people. Knowing this fact may provide some protection against such people. But, our greatest shield is Baba Sai. If you surrender to Him, Baba will protect you from all such harm. And, while you seek His refuge, you must also look within yourself to make sure that your heart is pure and compassionate. Please don't let the ugliness in others make you bitter and resentful. You may not be able to change people, but you can change your outlook towards them. Become indifferent to their 'ugliness', and bask in the beauty of our Baba Sai. May His love and protection flow into your life.

Even a small diya makes best attempt, before losing its light forever. We are human. Best Product created by Lord, ever. Then How we can accept defeat so easily.
To win or lose is not so imporatnt, But to fight.
Just to share, 10 years ago one of our destant relatives lost his job, Sold his home, Started a factory in partnership, Partner cheated him, took all money and left him in huge debt. He had to sell his factory to repay debts. Now he had nothing No Job, No Home, No Business but old dependent parents to take care of being alone son. Situation was that he had no money to even pay rent for house. Then one day got summons for one unpaid debt from bank (one more act of his partner). It took almost three years to get out of this court case. No support from relatives/friends. Alone he fought.
Then anyhow he started again supplying artificial jewellery with very little borrowed money. Day after Day things started getting better. Now after years he is in just better condition.
Even in such condition, He never lost his faith. Kept on fighting. Time changes at its own time. Don't expect when. Just Do what so ever you can do, with full faith.
In the universe nothing is permanent. Time keeps on passing. Good time will come. I know because I lived years of pain and sufferings and one day everything got changed.
But before all this, You have to take first step. It all will depend only upon you. No one else can change your destiny. Only you have to make it.

Sometime BABA pushes us to our Limits...HE tests us beyond our Endurance, because HE has greater Faith in us than we have in ourselves....I know Bhai its easy to say have patience. In Saib's words 'To do might not be so easy, as to say, Still Do. (I am not saying to Try, but to Do)'...but?????? Still I will say have 'That' Patience which BABA wants from each of us according to to our own capacity! I am saying all this with gutso because I have gone through those tough times...which is even beyond anyone's imagination but I kept on 'that' patience and BABA goes on testing it...and ultimately what I got...its also beyond anyone's imagination....I didn't get what I wanted instead I got what BABA wished to give me....and u know what was that??? I got HIM....I got MY BABA SAI...

Dear Fakir ji, remember this excerpt from Shri Sai Satcharitra and stay happy:
Kaka's Maid-Servant
On fully believing in Baba's words, he left Shirdi and came to Vile Parle (a suburb of Bombay), and stayed with Kakasaheb Dixit. There the next day, when Das Ganu was enjoying his morning nap (some say when he was engaged in worship), he heard a poor girl singing a beautiful song in clear and melodious tones. The subject matter of the song was a crimson coloured Sari, how nice it was, how fine was its embroidery, how beautiful were its ends and borders etc. He liked the song so much that he came out, and saw that it was being sung by a young girl, the sister of Namya, who was a servant of Kakasaheb. The girl was cleaning vessels, and had only a torn rag on her person. On seeing her impoverished condition, and her jovial temperament, Das Ganu felt pity for her and when Rao Bahadur M.V.Pradhan next day gave him a pair of dhotars, he requested him to give a sari to the poor little girl also. Rao Bahadur bought a good Chirdi (small Sari) and presented it to her. Like a starving person getting luckily good dishes to eat, her joy knew to bounds. Next day she wore the new Sari, and out of great joy and merriment, whirled, danced round and played Fugadi' with other girls and excelled them all. The Day following, she kept the new Sari in her box at home and came with the old and torn rags, but she looked as merry as she did the previous day. On seeing this, Das Ganu's pity was transferred into admiration. He thought that the girl being poor had to wear a torn rag, but now she had a new Sari which she kept in reserve and putting on the old rag, strutted herself, showing no trace of sorrow or dejection. Thus he realized that all our feelings of pain and pleasure depend upon the attitude of our mind. On thinking deeply over this incident, he realized that a man ought to enjoy whatever God has bestowed on him in the firm conviction that He besets every thing, from behind and before, and on all sides and that whatever is bestowed on him by God must be for his good. In this particular case, the impoverished condition of the poor girl, her torn rag and the new Sari, the donor, the dance and the acceptance were all parts of the Lord and pervaded by Him. Hence, Das Ganu got a practical demonstration of the lesson of the Upanishad - the lesson of contentment with one's own lot in the belief that whatever happens, is ordained by God, and is ultimately good for us.

Good Example Drashta Ji,
This is only state of mind and attitude towards life which makes one happy or sad. Life is with limited breathes. We can't borrow even one second when time ends. But, same time we ordinary human, it is very difficult to escape from power of Maya. (Even Lord Rama Has to follow the rules of Maya, when came in Human Form). Only Name of Sai can help upto great extent.

Fakirji, its correct that Baba and God does test people to limits, but we are Helpless, against the tide. However SAI SE BADA SAI KAA NAAM. If SAI does not help go for his holy name anushthaan. Then even SAI cannot do anything but help. SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI SAI..
We are all so helpless, but again it is said THAT MAN IS GOD BUT PLAYING A FOOL. You have to get in touch with power within. Your life is in for a paradigm shift, that's certain

But one thing I read about today which helped me and maybe will help you also is "WHEN YOU CRACK REVENGE on somebody for what he has done to you, actually you are doing a great favour to him/her, bocs nature wud have returned the fruit of bad karma in a much more efficient manner, we infact leave him on the cheap, or create a bad karma for ourselves" So let Law of Karma get back

Anupam ji I have lost my faith in Baba completely. For some days I have been very depressed. Did another saptah parayan of Baba recently. On completing it I slipped into a depression. That is what I got from my devotion.
I hate this world. I see selfishness in my parents, my relatives and friends.Everyone is so selfcentered. They want me to sacrifice myself for them. Have got nothing but pain at their hands. They never supported me. But they want me to support them in every way. What an ugly world this is. Corrupt and fake people succeed. Simple and genuine people suffer. Is this baba's justice?
Somebody told me today that Baba was just a man who lived in another age. His time was very different from ours. Do his teachings hold in this sick kaliyug? How can one survive with lies and deception all around?
I removed Baba's temple from my room today. HIs pictures, statue and book---all are packed in a box now. I feel cheated by him. Years I spent worshipping him in true bhakti. Helped many people to follow his path. He took away everything from me one by one. Is he a sadist?

Dear Fakir ji,
Is duniya me jo bhi hota hai uske piche koi karan jarur hota hai, when any thing bad is happening then it is very difficult to hold on,but these are our own karma which is responsible for all this.
When we surrender truly to our sai then he purify our karma and release us from its ill effect,but this process may take time and its only depend on sradha & saburi that we have toward our baba.
U have already come so long & now sai is really testing u for ur sradha & saburi,i am really sure that when u will clear this test u will be rewarded with the true happiness that will allow u live in this world with harmony.

Thank you Sai devotee Adi ji for your nice message. You are very right that Baba is testing me. I had a very strange experience today. Baba put me in a dangerous situation but saved me miraculously. I immediately took out Baba's pictures, statue and Shri Sai Satcharitra from the box and kept them back in my temple. It happened on a Thursday. And this was Baba's way of pulling me back to him. He loves me and takes care of me. Thank you Baba for my fortunes of having you with me. I love you Sai.

FAKIRJI WHAT YOU STATE IS A "TRUTH". Yes even cold statistics say so. In fact boys are one of the most exploited by parents abused and the Female led Govts SHOUT only about girls. IT IS KALIYUG. Kaliyug said that Father and sons will fight, brothers and sisters, brothers and brothers, wife and husband, all fighting ambushing but THAN EXPECTING THE BEST "OH GOD WHAT DID I DO"?
But again BABA is the only genuine truth. FAKIRJI it seems from ur posts that BABA genuinely loves you. And it seems he is preparing you for a PARDIGM change. He is breaking all ur attachments with the material world, whether relations, or other material things. Maybe he is driving you towards detachment with material attachments. Just take refuge of his sweet name. He wants you to RAISE AND ENLIGHTEN you. There is a saying that "GOD GIVES ALL (MATERIAL PLEASURES) TO THOSE WHOM HE DOES NOT GIVE ANYTHING AND DOES NOT GIVE ANYTHING (MATERIAL) TO PEOPLE WHOM HE WISHES TO GIVE "HIMSELF"".
Fakirji, same thing happened to GREAT KARNA also, everybody despised him. AND APPARENTLY LORD KRISHNA AND LORD PARShURAM also seemed a bit cruel. But not so. In fact it was KARNA who was the FIRST TO RECEIVE BHAGWAT GEETA GYAN from LORD KRISHNA, when the Lord himself went to KARNA to ask him to come over to Pandavas knowing fully well that KARNA would not budge. BUT ACTUALLY HE WENT THERE to give the BHAGWAT UPDESHA to Karna much before Arjuna.

The example of Karna is also very good. Till I read this message, I thought Arjun was the hero of the epic. You taught me that Karna was the real hero. He was wronged by everyone but he remained true to his principles till his end. Thank you Anupam ji for such a wonderful post. This gave me some reason to tolerate the disgusting world. Thank you Baba for giving me answers through fellow Sai devotees.

Thanks a lot Fakirji, Yes the more you find this world disgusting the more you will turn to detachment and I feel that is precisely what BABA seems to be doing to you. There is a true story of a Parsi Bhakta of Baba, the Bahkta took Samadhi only 10-12 years back if I'am correct. He was actually a big Businessman of Mumbai, playing in crores. He never had time to visit Shirdi but was Baba's Bhakta. Suddenly his business started failing, his family started dividing and fighting and he lost everything and became a pauper. He contemplated suicide. This is not very old, something that happened in 70s. Suddenly he thought that before suicide he wud visit Shirdi, take leave of Sai, come back to Mumbai and commit suicide. When he reached Shirdi, he was suddenly given the self realization by Baba. He became a Mukta Purush, a realised soul, a Saint. Then Baba returned all his wealth and family to him, but now the Parsi Bhakta and himself now realised did not want anything. He distributed soem among his family, gave the rest in charity and came back to Shirdi and became a Fakir. He stayed there till last. HE USED TO LOVINGLY SAY "ISS FAKIR NE MUJHE FAKIR BANA DIYA"
Yes actually KARNA and MAHARISHI BARBARIK "WERE" THE REAL HEROS who were given the Bhagwat Updesha by Lord much before Arjun. The little known facet of Mahabharat. Only the BEST KARNA got a chance whose last Kriyas were done by Lord Krishna himself on his own Palm (as the story goes). Arjuna was actually being taught by Lord Krishna by virtue of example of KARNA. After the Final Daan of his golden teeth by KARNA when he was dying, Lord Krishna asked Karna for a boon. KARNA also asked the Lord to do his antim Samskar at a place where no death had occured. Now Lord Krishna carrying KARNAs mortal remains went to all 14 Lokas but everywhere death occurs, so finally Lord Krishna lit the pyre on his Hands. AFTER ALL KARNA was the TEJ ELEMENT, THE 6TH ELEMENT. This Tej element of MAN was removed in Mahabharat,bcos the tiem for Kaliyug had come. AND THEREFORE THE humans typically would have only 5 elements characterised by 5 Pandavas in their Bodies. The sixth element Tej, had it been there Kaliyug could not have stepped on the EARTH

Excellent Example Anupam, Very well said. The one whom Baba choose, first make to away from the feeling or sense or belongings and then guide on the path of Vairagya. Perhaps it is toughest and without the help of Sai, just impossible, But Baba himself help to happen for his true devotees. It is his own way.

Thanks a lot Fakirji, I'am not either a Gyaani nor anything. I have just written what I heard from Revered Saints, nothing more. In fact you are a real loved one of Baba, as he will give you everything u desire NOW, but after cutting all attachments u feel for those material things. And when he gives you all, u won't be attached to it in any way. That's why it is said that do not ask God for anything. The danger lies not in him not giving you, but HE MAY GIVE IT TO YOU, and then make you regret it at leisure for life.
In fact Fakirji, Fakirs like Baba are not Fakirs, actually but they are renunciates. There is a real life story of a Revered Saint whose small Ashram and Samadhi is just a few kms from Shirdi, as you travel from Manmad to Shirdi via Road,on the main highway I'am not remembering his name. He also like Baba was a Fakir and his Ashram still is like a few huts. He used to wear only a langot and like Baba ask for alms. One day one of his Bhaktas got adamant in giving money to the Saint, which he refused and just jokingly said that he had KUBER KA KHAZANA. The devotee now was adamant to see the same. BABAji explained to him that he won't be able to tolerate the glitz of it so he shud drop the demand, but the devotee pressed on. Finally the revered Saint asked the devotee to just look back, and lo the devotee saw the Kuber's Khazana and Just went insane, seeing the Gold, etc. He was then brought to his senses by BABAji. So once SAI MAKES u a proper Fakir, in fact it means that Goddess Laxmi, Kuber etc. would be thankful to serve you.
These are real Fakirs like BABA. They are unattached though they have ALL the UNIVERSE OR MULTIPLE UNIVERSES HAVE.

Anupam ji thanks for such a wonderful message. I admire your depth of knowledge. I hope Baba takes me to such levels of fakiri. Right now no laxmi and kuber are at my service. FAKIRJI, all Lakshmiji and Kuber both will come to help you, always, as you leave everything to Baba (Narayan). Lakshmiji is attached so much to Lord Narayan's beauty that many times she even leaves her devotees.

Kakirji what happens really is that we love Baba during the time we pray, and then the negetive thoughts (Devil's energy) misguides us against our GURUDEV AND BABA and we start with negative thoughts, like Baba is not helping us, so during our Japs and prayer, Baba's blessings wash our negativities, bringing the 4 virtues of Dharam, Arth, Kaama, Moksha near us, but as soon as we leave it, the Devil's negative promting catches us, and we refill the negative energies in the cellular memories again, and again Baba has to do the needful, so the rise becomes very incremental, bcoz most of the energy goes in washing the previously washed. (Revered Saint Baba Shivanandaji).
Just keep Baba's Lotus feet visualised in ur heart always, and just see the changes for positive. Nothing is impossible for Gurudev. Remember God NEVER WANTS TO PUNISH ANYBODY AND DOES THAT WITH GREAT HESITATION AND ALWAYS TRIES TO GET HIS BELOVED CHILDREN SOME WAY THAT HIS PAIN IS LESS. LORD SHIVA TOOK THE HALAHAL POISON JUST TO SAVE HIS CHILDREN, MATA KALI TAKES ALL THE NEGATIVITIES ON HER OWN BODY SO THAT HER CHILDREN DO NOT SUFFER, AND SAINTS LIKE BABA" DO NOT POSSESS THE WILL TO MAKE THEIR BHAKTAS SUFFER". HERE EVEN THE OMNIPOWERFUL BABA IS HELPLESS, HE CANNOT MAKE HIS DEVOTEES SUFFER (ONE THING GOD CANNOT DO IS SEPARATE HIMSLEF FROM ANY SOUL AND ONE THING SAINTS CANNOT DO IS MAKE ANYBODY SUFFER)
