Title: Bangalore to Shirdi By Air/Taxi

I live in the US and am currently looking to make a trip to Shirdi from Bangalore(when I will be in India for a short stay). I would like to fly in into the nearest airport to Shirdi and then use a taxi/cab from there.


If anyone has undertaken a similar trip could you please share your experiences ?
Any recommendations for reliable taxi/cab/tour packages which will achieve the above goal ?

You can catch a flight till Pune. I guess that would be the nearest station. from Pune you may need to ctach the bus to Shirdi. I guess there are plenty to buses available (public/ private).
