Extract from "I am Brahman"

  • A few Forum members have asked me to post extracts from my book "I am Brahman" which was released by O Books last year.

So I enclose something from the last chapter.

"..... In fact, strangely, you cannot achieve Brahman by actually seeking it.  The strangeness is that you only experience Brahman by becoming IT - there can never be any question of an "I" witnessing Brahman.  When you cast off the final sheath there will no YOU seeing Brahman - only Brahman itself.  This is why many of the great pandits tell us to pray or worship in a kind of disinterested way.  Yes, the arrow of your in tention must be aimed straight at your target, but you cannot climb up into Brahman but rather fall, almost accidentally, into it.  As soon as you presume you know Brahman you have likely got it wrong.  If you intention and practice has been correct, Brahman will eventually find you."
