We are a couple, married in december 2008. We are living in US. soon as my wife came to US, I was laid-off from work (feb 2009). Since I was on H1 visa and due to recession, we have struggled to date to find a job for me as well as for my my wife who is also currently not authorized to work as well.
It has been a chain of mostly bad events in our life since then, I had a car accident too, luckily it was only damage to the car. I have almost come close to getting jobs, but never got any. Just few days back my h1 transfer with a consulting firm was also denied (oct 6 2009).
I have also filed for student status to preserve my status 2 months back and I hope it gets approved some time soon. We are both still looking for work and barely able to manage expenses on a month by month basis. We are diminishing our resources fast without any replenishment. We need help. We need jobs. It has been a painful and emotional journey for both of us. I especially feel bad about my newly wed wife to have to go through all this. Please help us by praying for us to baba.
