Sai devotees,

BABA never told anyone to eat only veggies. BABA never told anyone eat this and don't eat that. Every living organism is dependent on the other. Do you think you are not harming green leafy vegetables by cutting, boiling, cooking and eating them? Do you think there is no life for vegetables and fruits? If you start thinking all these things you have to starve. There is no  such restriction. You can eat anything that you like. It depends on one's view whether to eat non-veg or quit. Baba wants us to pray him with true devotion nothing else. What i feel is there is no harm eating non-veg bcos BABA himself use to cook and serve his devotees chicken biriyani.

Couple of points:

You or nobody else knows why Baba cooked certain things for some people. Baba had cooked veg also for many people. So let us not make use of Baba's actions for our inability to make restrictions to diet. Baba spoke and did what was necessary for people of that age and understanding. You or me or anyone cannot use Baba's actions to justify eating non-veg. Krishna had thousands of wives, none of his devotees try to emulate that. You are not Sai-Baba and so do not emulate his actions. You only said that Baba never spoke anything on veg or non-veg eating, so why quote his actions. Let us not talk about Baba and his actions and veg-non veg in same breath.

One who has no understanding of life, various paths towards God/realisation, deeper insight of scriptures and has not meditated enough, has not taken enough pain to gain deeper understanding of life should refrain himself or herself propagating wrong things here. If you say something, please add that it is your personal opinion and do not make use of Baba's life incidents to suit your personal view-point.
