Visiting Shirdi with my wife and 1 year old son

Hello All,
i will be visiting Shirdi on 3rd July from Hyderabad with my wife and son. I have already booked a room in Hotel Pilgrims Inn for the same. Can you please guide me regarding the below?

1. is it better to get down at Manmad railway station and travel to shirdi?
2. i am travelling by Ajanta Express which reaches Nagarsol at 6 am in the morning. So if i get down at Nagarsol in the morning instead of Manmad, is there enough transportation facilities available to travel to shirdi?
3. Also the pilgrims Inn hotel which i booked, the checkin time is at 1:30 pm, so my doubt is if i reach shirdi early, can the hotel people allow me inside?
4. Is pilgrims inn hotel nearer to the temple, since i have a one-year old son, walking will be difficult.

(On your point no 3),

My personal experience is that even if you reach early, the hotel people will allow you inside.

Say you have reached an hour or two earlier, and the room allotted to you is already vacant. They will allow you to start using the room without any additional charge.

In case the room is not free, most hotels always have a reception area/lobby where you can sit and wait.

I am not sure how much early you are reaching. The best option is to call the hotel ppl and confirm. Also you can ask them the exact distance to the Samadhi Mandir.

Thanks....i have called the hotel people....they said that since the day before, i mean on 2nd July...its Guru Purnima....so the chances of getting a room allotted early are remote..........so i am planning to cancel my reservation and look out the hotel after reaching shirdi......is this the good option or should i stay put with the same booking.....please guide me.....i am worried a lot becasue i have one year old son with me............also can someone pls respond for the travel options i had asked..........whether manmad or nagarsol is best to reach shirdi in the mroning time

Dear Saagarwa ji , if you are not particular about the type of accomodation, as soon as you reach shirdi , hundreds of people will scurry around you offering you
various types of accomodations, some in houses, some in hotels etc. so you can choose. But if you are particular about the accomodation , then i suggest Goradia's .
they are a minutes walk from the samadhi mandir and its neat and clean. Om Sairam.

Since its guru purnima, i would suggest you stick to your reservation.

Going to Shirdi and then searching for accommodation can be a bit risky ... as this would be a heavy rush season .. and with a one year old son it would be very inconvenient to keep going from one hotel to another finding out if rooms are available ...

There are two daily trains from Secundrabad / Hyderabad to Manmad:

7058>DEVAGIRI EXP from SECUNDERABAD JN 13:30 to MANMAD JN 01:50

And

7064>MANMAD EXPRESS from SECUNDERABAD JN 17:45
to MANMAD JN 08:10

Devagiri Express also goes vis Nashik Road Station.

So, you may either get down at Nashik Road or at Manmad and by travelling another 30-40 minutes by road, can reach Shirdi without much hassle.

You may visit Indian Railways website http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ and check these trains' schedules to decide which station you wish to alight for Shirdi.

yestrday,somebody suggested me to book accomodation from mtdc,in delhi,janpath
