Shubha and sathya sai. Jan 15 approx 2007. The year of the maha yagna in chennai.
Lets not debate on .. Are both shirdi and sathya are the same avatar. Suffice if we note that both are sai to us. The overflowing fountain of grace and care and love for us poor souls.
Shubha was waiting in the que for darshan in chennai. During the time yagna was being performed in chennai this year. (2007).
It was a long wait as always. Mind the monkey that it is started wandering. Then questioning. Why am I here?? Will get darshan. Can sai really hear me? Does really connect telepathically………… most importantly children are at home, should be doing this???
When these random thoughts were disturbing shubha, the seva dal in front of her turned around and had this conversation. Best to put in first person and act form.
Seva: can you not recognize me?
Shubha… sorry I cannot remember you.
Seva… what I saw you in kodai canal.
Shubha. Oh sorry, yes I did go there last year, but cannot remember you.
Seva. Well I remember you so well. You came with so and so.
And my dear it was year before last!!!!
Shubha. {Thinks} my god.. This incredible. How can she remember a person seen 2 years back, in such a vast crowd?

seva.. see go home. You.. are restless and come for darshan in a comfy way. You come by VIP pass!
Shubha.. laughs and says ,, wish ..but then its ok. I have no influence and have no pass.
Anyway shubha said bye and left.
Three days later.. most unexpectedly.. without asking, a friend who is not really in daily touch with shubha sends her VIP pass for darshan.
Shubha and sriram , got lovely darshan and needless to say , am sure plenty of grace.

Girija an ardent devotee of sathya sai was reluctant about settling down in chennai. Nevertheless had to due to her husband’s choice of employment.
On 12 Jan 2007 she had dream in which she was waiting for darshan in parthi. Several people passing by then told her , to go near ganesha .. as fakir.. meaning baba was calling her.
Girija found baba , sitting near the ganesha and welcomed her with a loving smile. Asked her , f she liked chennai? When girija was at a loss to answer. He said.. see I have sent you to chennai. I scuttled all the other jobs.
So .. this is for your good. Chennai will be good for you. saying blessed her and sent her off..
On 13 Jan , 2007 , girija gets an early morning call from her husband. he had come to open the new house..

Couple of weeks ago i was somewhat fidgety about having no place really to go daily. Driver had been hired. I had time.. Many of the usual confused thoughts. Then I said sai I leave it to you to keep me busy in a fruitful way. Not necessarily looking for
Renumuretion from this.
I felt meeting usha nagarj would be a good idea as she had plenty of friends and was also a cheerful good person of varied interests.
On meeting her, she invited me to her bhajan group.. To watch one day then may be join too if I so desired.
One point to be noted here that i was always very keen to sing. Also I had no musical voice at all. Infact the first time some one meets me , will ask, why is your throat so bad?? Some vocal infection!
I hesitantly told the lady co coordinating this group, that I would like to come every Tuesday for their meet. May be not sing.. At least meet nice folks and enjoy lovely music being sung every week.
I was told in a chiding way.. “ What’s this” when 30 people are singing, what does it matter .. One more low voice. You must also sing and its all very simple devotional songs. It’s the feeling that counts and not the voice itself.” So I was thrilled.
Here at last I am having a chance to sing…
Then the wonder of wonders.. we were told we are going to sing as group in shirdi mandir.. which had its kumbabishekam in a n.r. colony banaglore.
I also went with group. We were received so well and yes I sat as far from the mike as possible..but sing I did from my soul to beloved sai .. my maa .. along with all others! Can you imagine .. We had at least 100 people as audience.
Jaishri on stage singing! That is really a chamtkar!
My sai my maa… I don’t deserve this.
Now I have joined this group and every Tuesday is treat day for me!
