Baba showered His grace on Nana.

Forty miles from Shirdi is Harischandra hill, with a Devi temple at the top. Walking by foot is the only way to reach the temple.

One day, Nana began his walk up the hill with his assistants.

It was a hot summer day, and the little water they got with them was finished.

Walking further, Nana became thirsty and asked for water - there was none to have.
 
Nana felt the fatigue of climbing and settled down on a rock wishing to himself that Baba should quench his thirst.
 
At the very moment, Baba in Dwarakamayi exclaimed "My Nana needs water!" and those gathered there had no clue what Baba meant.
 
A goat-herder was just walking by Nana's troup, and was asked if he had any water with him. Reply came from the goat-herder "Sir, there is water underneath the rock you are sitting on, and you are asking me for water?"
 
Puzzled, the assistants moved the rock aside and found a small puddle of clear, cool water.....everybody took a gulp to fill their thirst. Nana was deeply touched by this magic of Baba.
 
Several days later, when Nana visited Baba in Shirdi, the first words from Baba were "Nana! you were thirsty and I gave you water. Did you drink?"
 
Nana's eyes welled with tears and he became speechless! Again, no one assembled there had a clue what Baba was saying. Such is Baba's grace!
