I can see a great underlying significance of the finger smashing incident.

  The uncle who fingers were smashed represents the everday person occupied with his worldly things & beings. His fingers represent his valuable worldly posessions, which he cherishes & fondles with. Now when Sadguru & the Lord really want to uplift a person & save him from the bondage of mundane existence, they first smash his loved worldy posessions. For the person, this may appear as the end of the world, as he sees his "everything" getting destroyed in front of his own eyes. The aunty screaming represents the near & dear ones of the person, who also think that everything is over for the person, since there eyes are also worldly. They also panic.
  But only after endurng this worldly death, does the person really gets born spiritually. He no longer remains a bound jeeva. but comes to realise that he is indeed GOd himself.
  In this way Sai baba has uplifted many souls, a very good example is that of Upasani Maharaj. upasani Maharaj, was intially just a bound soul like us. but Sai baba made him sit in the Khandoba Mandir for 4 years & asked him to "do nothing". Poor fellow sat there & as he did nothing, he could only see one-by-one of his posessions getting ruined. He was even devoid of food & clothing. He used to say that, he will soon die. But in the end, as assured by SAi baba, he became a Siddha & came to be called as upasani MAHARAJ & then he further freed many bound souls.
   It is like this. An ordinary person becomes God, only after his worldly death which is brought about purposefully by the Guru.

BABA’s Darshan & Blessings as LORD RAMESHWAR on GURUPOORNIMA DAY

Before the real incident, I have to narrate something earlier to correlate the blessings on GURU POORNIMA day.

We used to believe in astrology to the core and when we had problems in our marriage and for our other welfare of the family & to even have a child, well known, renowned astrologers suggested that we should go RAMESHWARAM, (one of the twelve Jyothirlingas) in Tamil Nadu. ( It is located on an island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is less than 40 kilometers from the Jaffna Peninsula, Sri Lanka.) and do some poojas prescribed for the welfare of our family. A decade back this was told to us and since our karma has to be borne by us, whenever we intend to go it never materialized.

After a year or two, we came into the fold of our HOLY FATHER SAI and then we had put the astrology books at his feet and we said whatever it may be BABA is there to take care of us, how could planet help us or trouble us when our holy father is taking care of us.

Needless to mention that after visiting many astrologers and reading many books my husband became proficient in the subject, soon all were dropped at the feet of the LORD SAI.

Even after that many persons ( well wishers, relatives ) suggested us to visit RAMSEHWARAM which will be a turning point in one’s life and to get a child, then we said BABA is our RAMESHWAR, and we depend on him for everything, Infact after that also BABA gave us a test by giving an official posting at RAMNAD HQ to one my husband’s cousin who had all arrangements for all the relatives for ours to have darshan of LORD SIVA at RAMESHWARAM, though everyone went except us believing Baba to be our Lord Siva.

June 08, Poornima BABA gave us a vision to do Girivala, (Circumambulation) at the ARUNCHALA MOUNTAIN the inner path about 13kms (which is very throny, pebbled and covered with bushes/ trees)

on the 25th June evening we did the girivala and by BABA’s grace we could complete it though we had lot of difficulties BABA helped us at all instances promptly. We were a group of ten and my husband kept chanting SAI NAAM and also shouting for BABA’s help each time we had a hurdle and BABA helped all of us to walk it with ease. At the end of it my husband had a darshan of a SIDDAR who told us that we should visit RAMESHWARAM immediately on the NEW MOON DAY (AMAVASYA) which came of 2nd JULY and also told us follow some rituals and poojas at RAMESHWARAM and two other temples on the way back. Since my husband was adamant to just hear it from  BABA ALONE, BABA confirmed it to him by a dream the same night, This RAMESHWARAM trip which was in store for more than a decade, materialized in no time within a week (July 1st – July 4th) we were in RAMESHAWARAM, who could disobey BABA’s orders.

Needless to mention, it was BABA who arranged for the trip hence every minute he accompanied us, he guided us what to do (RAMESHWARAM’s miracles I shall post separately otherwise this post would become too long)

History tale behind the RAMESHWARAM Temple:

According to the Puranas, upon the advice of Rishis (sages), Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana, installed and worshipped the Sivalinga here to expiate the sin of Brahmahatya (killing of a Brahmin) (Ravana was a Brahmin the great grandson of Brahma). Rama fixed an auspicious time for the installation and sent Anjaneya ( HANUMAN JI) to Mount Kailas to bring a lingam (FALIC IMAGE OF SIVA JI). As Anjaneya could not return in time, Sita herself made a linga of sand. When Anjaneya returned with a linga from Mount Kailas the rituals had been over.

To comfort the disappointed Anjaneya, Rama had Anjaneya’s lingam (Visvalingam) also installed by the side of Ramalinga, and ordained that rituals be performed first to the Visvalingam.

We did three day Parayan of SAISATCHARITRA for GURUPOORNIMA ( the poetic verses of the Original Marathi Translated into ENGLISH – About 800 pages) as per instructions from BABA at the SAIPURAM temple, INJAMBAKKAM, Chennai   ( attached SATHPATHY GURUJI from CHATRAPUR, New Delhi) from 17th Jul–19th Jul 08.

On the eve of GURUPOORNIMA (17th July 2008) being a Thursday, there was PALKHI PROCESSION, to our utter surprise the PALKHI, being a special day was starting from the SEASHORE ( the temple is situated on the BAY OF BENGAL SEASHORE) The owner of the temple MRS. BULCHANDANI had a vision to worship SHIV ji in the sands of the seashore hence this arrangement. THE DEACORATED PALKHI with BHAJANS on one side and crackers bursting on the other side, the PANDIT began digging the SAND to make LORD SIVA ji as per the instructions of Mrs. BULCHANDANI. Lord SIVA was depicted in the SAND with the help of fellow devotees, decorated with garlands and aarthi’s performed there both to LORD SIVA at the seashore and to BABA in the PALKHi.

Since we ardently believed that BABA was our LORD RAMESHWAR, BABA gave us a darshan of LORD RAMESHWAR at his temple that too on the AUSPICIOUS DAY OF GURUPOORNIMA ( In Chennai GURUPOORNIMA was celebrated on Thursday July 17th) though he made us visit RAMESHWARAM. On AMAVASYA (new moon day) we were in RAMESHWARAM and on the POORNIMA (Full moon day) BABA gave us darshan of LORD SHIVA here itself back home.

This was the first day GURUPOORNIMA BLESSINGS of BABA, the next day continues….

1.   BABA came to rescue devotees in distress.

Yesterday, an old lady living in the ground floor apartment cried to my husband that her two sons are fighting and there is no peace at home, then my husband prayed to BABA and told dadi ma that things would be smooth and tomorrow or thursday BABA will come to your house and bless your family.

Today, the old lady, a very pious lady, requested her Daughter-in-law to cook early so that she can feed BABA when he comes, believing my husbands words. Since there is no peace at home, DIL did not listen to the MIL, again old lady was worried and while my husband was leaving to the factory, was waiting for him to tell him to pray again for the peace of their house.

The moment they were walking at the doorstep of the apartment a sales representative from Aqua Guard enquired if they would require the product ( AQUA GUARD is a device for purification of water, that family also needed Purification of mind) the next came a mid aged lady clad in ORANGE SAREE straight into their doorstep and asked the old lady for rice, it was unusal for the orange saree lady to have come, b’coz this happens only on special occasions or on Fridays only, Immediately dadima took my husband inside and said as if she is saying to her own son, that even after repeated requests DIL did not prepare food and now that BABA is their at the doorstep what to offer, then my husband said BABA knows all this, hence the orange saree lady (BABA) is only asking for rice, not for food / money.

Incidentally just before leaving home all the coins from my husband’s pocket dropped and before I could pick it up for him, he went away, which means BABA did not want any coins/ money from my husband. Gladly dadima gave away rice and the orange saree lady (BABA) blessed her whole heartedly.

Before my husband could leave the compound the courier man came to DADIMA’s house which was the good news to the family which was the cause for the fight since couple of weeks.

BABA answered their prayers and my husband’s prayers for them in no time and also gave us darshan in the from of an ORANGE SAREE LADY and received rice from DADIMA.

At this juncture let me tell you that BABA in the form of ORANGE SAREE lady came only to DADI MAA's house, after that did not stop anywhere else, not even in any other flats of our apartment

OUR FAITH AND PATIENCE are always rewarded by BABA, Thank you BABA for answering our prayers for DADIMAA.

Yesterday i had been to baba temple  and prayed for god  please give me ur blessings and then came to home had dinner and slept. At around 3:30 in the morning baba come in the form of Cockroj and that cockroj fell on my head and gave me his blessings. Really baba is great and gives his blessings to each and every devottee in one or the other way. Great are his leelas
