  • Dasganu's plight!
It is our nature to enthusiastically share our convictions about Sai devotion with others and expect them to follow the same. Those who have seen the miracles of Lord Sai tend to wish that the grace that they have received should also be bestowed upon others. Thus, every Sai devotee is a Sai servant involving in spreading the love and message of Sai. While some indulge in Sai activities with voluntary willingness, others accomplish the same indirectly by sharing their experiences with Sai. It is natural that the good results of everyone's such actions depend on their capabilities and the extent of their involvement. However, what God wants is the true love and devotion but not the magnitude of their gross efforts! In the great epic Ramayana, the efforts put forth by the squirrel on the sand is considered equal to that of mighty Hanuman. Lord Rama looked at the specks of sands that squirrel contributed to the bridge with the same love and appreciation as that of the boulders moved effortlessly by the monkey God.

Occasionally, an intense participation in spreading God's words and involvement in such service leads some to believe that their service to Sai is superior and not those of others. This leads to feelings of jealousy and hatred amongst Sai children eventually leading to their spiritual downfall. Only Lord Sai, the merciful Sadguru can save those from such eventuality.

Once, Dasganu Maharaj had to face a similar situation. The one that inspired thousands of listeners through his spellbinding Sai gospel, Dasganu was averse to one particular female devotee in Shirdi Village. He used to criticize her in others' presence, some times in a very acrid tone. Once, as Dasganu was indulging himself in such a deplorable act, Sainath Maharaj summoned Dasganu and chided him for his behavior. Baba scolded Dasganu that people involved with God's work must not possess arrogance and that Dasganu should seek forgiveness at the feet of the woman devotee who was the subject of Dasganu's contempt. It was not easy for Dasganu, the most revered kirtankar of his times who commanded respect from his followers, to scoop down and fall at the feet of a woman. However, he had to obey the Great Master and in the process he was reformed to a humble servant of God and not an arrogant apostle who thought himself to be superior to others!

  • My Experiences with Shri Sai Baba (May 1984) V.K.Thakur  leedharart

     Send Email

My wife, accompanied by a neighbouring lady, reached the maternity home in
the Taxi. I followed the Taxi on a Scooterette, On the way, I had been
praying to 'Baba' for help to my wife, who was in quite serious condition,
    owing to severe pain.

After 3 minutes of reaching the maternity home, she delivered a male child.
Thus 'Baba' heard my prayer, and extended timely help.
This incident occurred in July '71, I was returning from my office. On the
main road of M. P. Electricity Board, there are 'C’ Type Residential
Quarters where there is a blind turning on account of the Quarters
constructed in round shape. While overtaking a bullock cart there a 'Leyland
tractor trolly' came on the way speedily from the front, leaving very
marginal distance and my scooter came in between these two. I applied the
    brake, but it had failed.

I don't know how I could be saved at this crucial moment. When I stopped my
scooter, and took a clear breath, I saw that Baba's locket fixed in the key
ring, installed in the ignition hole of the scooter, was separated from its
original place and was lying on the foot-board of the scooter. I am very
sure that the locket was tightly fixed in the key ring and how it came out
of it was a question. 'Baba’, who saved me, can only reply.

In August 1977, I was admitted to M. P. Electricity Board Hospital for
treatment of low blood pressure. I came back after 'X.Ray* of 'KUB region'
at about 1 P. M., from the Medical College. I saw my wife sitting on the
bench at the hospital entrance. She was quite nervous. I asked her, whether
    all was well.

She said, "Neeta, who had high temperature last night, is having urinery
trouble. She has not passed urine for the last 24 hours."
By this time I saw Dr. G. L. Goswami and lady Medical Officer Mrs. S. B.
Jain, coming hastily towards my wife.

Dr. Goswami told us that the baby was not permitting to insert tube, to
outlet the urine accumulation. If this stage continues, urinery bladder is
likely to burst. Mrs. Jain advised us to take her to the Medical College
    Hospital in the ambulance.

On way to Medical College when the ambulance, stopped for fuel at the
petrol pump, I prayed to 'Baba* "What you are doing Baba? On the one
hand, I am under treatment, feeling too weak, and this baby... Baba
shower mercy on us, "kripa karo Gurudev."

I keep Baba's ‘Udi’ in my purse all the time. I dropped a little of 'Udi'
in the mouth of my daughter and also put it on her forehead, praying to
    Baba, to save her.

When we reached the Medical College Hospital, the lady doctor on duty in
the emergency room listened to us patiently, and took my baby to the
attached bathroom. The baby was asked to keep her hands in water in a ‘tub’
and try to pass urine. She passed the urine without any trouble. Was it not,
that Baba's 'Udi' saved her at that crucial juncture?" Since then she has no
trouble, and is well with the blessings of Shri Sai Baba.

  • Sai Baba the Master  leedharart
     Offline
     Send Email

By about 10 a.m. Baba returned from Lendibaugh and then for an hour and a
half he sat with visitors. A detailed picture of these items of Sai Baba’s
daily life are given as recorded by Khaparde in his “Shirdi Diary” in a
latter section. Sometimes, during this period, he would again go out for
another round of begging. At about noon, arti was performed by the
devotees, at the end of which Baba distributed ‘udi’ to all of them and
they left for lunch. Devotees used to get the first portions of their lunch
or some other special delicacy prepared for the occasion as offering to
Baba. Baba sometimes took the whole offering and distributed it to all and
left a little for the devotee. Along with some devotees like Bade Baba and
Shama, Sai Baba sat inside the musjid for lunch and usually curtains were
drawn for privacy for his devotees. None was expected to enter the musjid
    once the curtain was lowered.

The mosque was an old mud structure in such a bad shape that now and then
some of the earth and stones used to fall off from the ceiling. One day
Baba, along with some of his devotees, was having his lunch. Suddenly a
crackling sound was heard overhead by all. At once Baba lifted his hand up
in a gesture and said, “Sabar Sabar” (i.e., “wait, wait”). The noise
stopped. When everyone had finished his meal, along with the devotees Baba
also came out. At once a huge part of the ceiling - earth, stones and parts
of the rafters fell down with a loud noise exactly in the spot where Baba
was seated earlier. Only then did every one understand that Baba said,
“Wait” to the crashing roof and it did wait.
Once Sai Baba appeared to a lady at Burhampore in her dream, standing at
her door and begging for kichadi (i.e., rice cooked with dal or pulses and
salt). Later, when her husband was transferred to Akola, they went to
Shirdi and stayed there for two months. The lady longed very much to serve
kichadi to Baba as he asked her for it in her dream-vision but for some
reason or the other she could not do so for sixteen days. On the
seventeenth day she could at last prepare kichadi. By the time she arrived
there, Baba already sat for lunch and the curtain was lowered. At first she
was a little disappointed. But soon she threw up the curtain and entred
with the offering. Precisely Sai Baba was saying that he wanted kichadi
first and the devotees were in a fix as there was no kichadi. Exactly at
the moment, the lady of Burhampore was there with it! Baba took it eagerly
and ate it. Baba wanted to demonstrate to her that the experience she had
at her home town was not just a dream, but a vision which he graciously
    vouched her.

    Baba - A Successful Physician (May 1984)

It is said that whosoever puts his feet on the soil of Shirdi his sufferings
would come to an end. This universal fact was experienced very recently by
    us.

Dear readers, my wife had been suffering from throat trouble for the last
many years. It started as an ordinary 'cough & cold' problem; but it went on
increasing day by day inspite of usual medical treatment. During my service
as a pay & Accounts Officer in the Central Excise, Indore, I consulted many
physicians of repute but there was hardly any improvement. At time she was
very miserable when she could not even eat or drink properly.

Apart from the treatment from various doctors, she had to take many
precautionary steps like avoiding quite a large number food items.

Recently, when we had the invitation to attend the Annual Gathering of
Writers at Shirdi, we were in a fix whether to go or not due to her
ailment. It, however, appears that Baba issued latent instructions to
my wife, who suddenly insisted that we must attend despite her
problem. Immediately after we reached the pious city of Shirdi, both of
us presented ourselves before the lotus feet of Sai Baba and submitted
our prayer to Him to rid her of her long suffering.

Dear readers, you will be glad to know that before leaving Shirdi after the
'Summelcn,1 surprisingly, my wife felt that had no throat trouble at all.
Lest it should be only a temporary relief, we did not mention it to anybody
then and there. Will the passage of so many days now, we are able to openly
tell that she has completely recovered from her long outstanding throat
trouble. Not only that, she has since given up the various precautionary
steps and is able to take anything she normal likes to take.

The miraculous recovery is simply on account of Baba super-human
    powers as a successful physician,

On Friday the 19th of august, I decided to do a saptah of the Sai Satcharitra, so that I could finish reading it in exactly seven days time on a Thursday and take Baba's darshan and blessings when I have completed.

On the first day of my reading, before I started, I said in my mind to Baba to bless me so that I benefit spiritually by reading this saptah and my mind becomes calm and composed, and to keep my attention ever fixed on him. I also hoped that Baba would bless me in his unique way.

To my suprise, on the second day of the reading, I was in my room, when my sister walked into my room with a sketch of Baba that she was drawing as an assignment for her college. She came into the room to show it to me. It was a close up of Baba's face with his hand up with palm showing to bless. I was suprised, as it was just astonishing for me to see that while I was reading, Baba himself walked into my room and blessed me. I thanked Baba for acknowledging my worship towards him.

Again, I said to Baba, that I am reading it will full faith and hope that when I am finished with the reading on Thursday, he will bless me on completion. I decided that upon completion I would go to the Sai Baba Temple and get blessings of his holy feet, and hoped that he would in some way again acknowledge my completion (i can't help it, im always greedy for his darshans)

However, when thursday came, I fell very ill.. I was down with high fever, and could not move out of my bet. The doctor gave me several medications and I was very drowsy and sleepy throught the day. I still had a few chapters remaining, and somehow managed to complete my saptah by thursday night. I apologized to Baba that I couldn't make it to his temple and said that I would do so as soon as I get well... yet I hoped in some way he would still give me his darshans again to tell me that he is with me even though I couldn't go.

When I kept the Satchritra after I finished reading, I took prasad and udi kept in front of Baba's photo. As I was bedridden I couldn't move much. When I lifted my pillow, there was a gold bordered Orange cloth with Baba's photo on it (under my pillow). I had not kept it there, and I was suprised to see that it was there. I felt overjoyed to know that in this manner Baba reconfirmed that he is with me always. I felt that my reading had finally been blessed by Baba.

Later my wife menitoned that she had put udi on my head and kept the cloth there when I was asleep earlier that evening.

Doctor had suspected malaria and other serious infections due to the symptoms, but thanks to Baba's blessings all blood reports were clear and my health has recovered back to normal.

    Om Shri Sai Nathayah Namah

One Thursday I read on www.saibaba.org website article that related to "Guru guidance", by one nice prayer. I have two proposal at a moment so my mind was thinking that "How Saibaba can give an answer to me for life partner?" then I came back home by auto and thinking about how can I understand Saibaba's reply or guidance. On the way I found two vehicles and one of them had Saibaba's picture and backside was written "RAVI" so I got the answer of Saibaba in nice way. I have proposal from Ravindra who is exact suitable match for me and he proposed me before 4 months. Thank you very much Saibaba for getting Ravi as a husband. He is really co-operative, loving, has good understanding and also computer technical knowledge so it is helpful to my computer engineering career and both of us are interested to go abroad.

  • My Sivanesan Swami ji - Part II

Contributed by Sai Premananda (Robert Meola), Berkeley, California USA, ©2002

It became clear that it was not time for me to leave Shirdi. Except for some brief one or two day trips to Newasa and Paithan, I lived in Shirdi until after Ramnavmi in April, 1985. I saw Sivanesan Swamiji sweeping and mopping the Chawdi. I saw him applying kumkum and turmeric and sandal paste to Baba's pictures. I saw him throwing coconuts into the dhuni when people requested pujas from him.

Sivanesan taught me to do Pradakshina/circumnambulation at Gurusthan and at Nandadeep at Lendi Bagh. He had me keep a neem leaf from Gurusthan. He gave me holy relics for puja. He gave me pictures of Baba. Sivanesan Swamiji provided me with every book written in English about Sai Baba that he could obtain for me to read. He was always available to answer my questions and explain things to me. Whenever I had doubts about my communication from Baba, Sivanesan was there to encourage and support my faith that I really was experiencing what I was experiencing with Baba.

Sivanesan encouraged me to meditate and I believe he was disappointed that I didn't meditate more than I did. I had only my plane ticket to London and enough money to fly back to New York when I reached Shirdi in January. Sivanesan had me give him my passport, my plane ticket and my money so that no one would take it from me while I slept below the steps outside Dwarkamai or on the platform at Dwarkamai. I handed my passport, plane ticket and money to Sivanesan Swamiji. He handed it all to Mohan Baba. More than two months later, when it was time for me to leave Shirdi, Sivanesan had Mohan Baba go to where it was all kept and return it to me. Sivanesan Swamiji arranged for me to sleep near the dhuni every night. He also arranged for my breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

I saw Baba's devotees handing money to Sivanesan frequently. But, like Baba, he did not keep it. He had people feed me. He bought me books. He gave me pictures. He even had white clothes made for me. And, he used the money to help many people.

Baba Muktananda had given me the name, Premnath, in 1980. Sivanesan Swamiji told me that I was now Sai Premananda. When I would sit on the ledge on the wall next to Baba's dhuni to talk with Baba, sometimes women from fisher villages would come up, pranam and grab on to my big toes. I would be unable to move away or get up or prevent it from happening. Then a line of others would form to do the same thing. Some asked me to bless their children. I was embarrassed. Speaking only English, I also didn't know how to communicate with them or what to do or say. I explained the situation to Sivanesan Swamiji. Sivanesan Swamiji told me to go ahead and do as they requested me to do. He told me to allow them to grab my feet and that I should bless their children while always passing the pranams up to Baba and the requests for blessings up to Baba and allowing Baba to pass the blessings on through me.

In most places I traveled, people did not attempt to touch my feet. Yet, I had similar experiences when I visited Newasa, Paithan and Dehu. I sat briefly meditating in the room in which Jnanadev Maharaj had written Jnaneshwari. Mrs. Shanta Singh was with me. The temple pujari came in and knelt before me and touched my feet. Mrs. Singh was quite surprised. She explained to me who he was and that people who visit the temple there touch his feet and that he normally doesn't touch anyone else's feet

In Jan '98, me and my husband had moved from San Jose, CA to Boston, MA. I started my masters and he was working there and our baby was due on Sept 7th '98. In May'98 he had to move back to San Jose as his group got dismantled. I wanted to finish my studies as soon as I can by Fall 1998 and move back too. I took 3 courses in Summer and enrolled for 4 courses and project for fall. I just had 2 weeks break for summer from Aug 24th - Sept 6th. I had total faith in Baba that he'll walk me through all this. On Aug 24th I went to labor and when we went to the hospital, the nurse did ultrasound and said they have to do cesarean as the baby was in horizontal position and she went to call the doctor. I could not afford a cesarean as I would have to postpone one more semester. Me and my mom prayed Baba with total devotion and I thought that I would name my son after Baba if everything goes ok. Then the doctor came and said the baby was head down and that I would deliver in couple of hours. It was such a big relief. By Baba's grace I had a wonderful baby boy within 1 1/2 hr and I could go back to school for fall and graduate by Dec '98. I certainly could not do all of this without His grace. I think the most important think is having faith in HIM.

But there is one mistake we did. After my son was born, I talked to my husband over phone and told him my thought of naming him after Baba. But my husband didn't think it was such a good idea. So, we named him Pranav. When Pranav was 2 yrs old, he started having breathing problems which turned out to be asthma. We had seen many doctors even Homeopathic but in vein. One day I realized that it could have been because of not naming him after Baba. So, I told this to my husband and we changed his name to Pranav Sai. He had been feeling better since then and I have total faith in Baba that He certainly would take care of us as He did in the past. Om Sai Ram

Though I was not a staunch devotee, I did believe in Saibaba's Supreme Power. My marriage was scheduled to be performed in November. Due to some inconvenience on my husband's side, the date was advanced to October, with a strict word from the marriage hall's owner that we would have to forgo the whole amount if there was going to be another change. However, 10 days before marriage my husband called up and said we could not have it in October due to some problem with his visa papers. My parents were shattered. I did not know what to do, and put the burden on God. I reached a stage when I thought I would rather go to Hell than experiencing this pain. But one night suddenly I felt Baba asking me to listen to His songs. Dutifully, I did. I not only felt better, but also felt like listening to it forever. My heart became light. My mind was free now. When I was sleeping one afternoon, I again got a feeling that Baba wanted me to visit His temple far away from my house. We had not gone there before and so my parents were thinking of how to take me there. At that time, my dad's friend came and said He would take us to the temple. We went there at just the right time for aarthi. I prayed that there should not be any change of date. But a huge blow came on the next day when my husband called up and told he would not be able to come for sure in October. Therefore, my parents prepared to forgo the money and fixed it for a different date. I still clinged to my Hope that Baba would make me get married on the same date. Just the night before my parents were about make a fresh payment, my husband called up and said he had obtained his visa and would be there for the wedding as scheduled. I was astonished. He was right when He said, "If you take one step towards me I shall a hundred towards you"

I have been a devotee of my dear loving Baba for almost 3 years now and I am happy that He has drawn me towards Him. My only prayer to Him always is that He should never separate me from His Lotus feet and keep me in His path of devotion. I have always felt Baba's presence around me and talking about one experience would be like a drop in the mighty ocean. By Baba's grace, I have been able to visit Shirdi twice in the last 2 years. The first year when I went to Shirdi, I was a girl who had absolutely no confidence in herself, someone who shied away from friends and relatives due to a sense of very low self -esteem since, being an engineering graduate, I had not been able to get a good job for almost 4 years. I had started doubting my own capabilities. That year, when Baba called me to Shirdi, I prayed to Him that if I get a good job soon, I would visit Shirdi the same year. And as per His assurance, He did get me a job .My job, a very good one, literally came walking into my hands and by His grace I performed excellently in my assignments. I had started on a very low salary. The management was pleased with my performance and within a span of 6 months, I got three increments. Accordingly, I started praying to Baba that, now that He has fulfilled my prayers, He should call me to Shirdi now. That too happened very soon. Last December, my parents, sister, uncle and three aunts set out on our way to Shirdi. We boarded a bus to Shirdi from Bombay and reached there at 3:30 AM in the morning. Since it was the Christmas day, the crowd in Shirdi was just too much. The bus in which we would come was supposed to pick us up at 12:30 the same day to leave for Bombay and my parents and me were supposed to leave for our native the day after. My father told me that there was no way we could attend the noon aarti. We saw the Kakad arti on the television sitting outside the Samadhi Mandir .I thought that if not for aarti, I would at least go and have darshan of Baba and place my head at His Samadhi. However, by the time all of us had our breakfast and my aunts and sister did some shopping for Baba's pendants, cassettes, statue, etc., it was 11:00. I was very upset by this time, since I was waiting for them and now it seemed almost impossible to go in since the queue was too long. People had queued up from morning 7:00 for the aarti at 12:00.Everyone told me that I should be happy that at least I got a chance to come to Shirdi. I was however not able to control my tears. The very thought that Baba had called me to Shirdi and not allowed me near His Samadhi was making it unbearable for me. I started praying to Baba that I wanted to touch His samadhi, or else I would have no peace of mind .I decided in my mind that I would come to Shirdi all alone very soon when it was not a holiday season, since by now it was very clear that there was absolutely no way I could go in and have Darshan. All were dejected. I felt my journey was fruitless. I was going on questioning Baba in my mind as to why He was making this happen to me. Just then, I saw my uncle speaking to a man. Before we could ask anything, he was off with that man somewhere only to return with special entrance passes. My joy knew no bounds. Before I could know anything, I was inside the Samadhi Mandir, taking in the warmth and love emanating from my dear, dear Baba.I could not believe that one moment I was out crying and now I was inside touching Baba's Samadhi .We were there for almost 6 - 8 minutes .I cannot narrate the peace, joy and happiness, I felt within after that. I was only thanking Baba repeatedly for listening to me once again. I asked my uncle how he managed to get the special entrance pass. He told that the man he was speaking to be a very old friend of his and happened to be a trustee of the temple. But it is a miracle that in that crowd, he happened to meet my uncle and recognise him and offered to give him the passes. I am convinced that it was Baba who had sent him to my uncle and that this was just one of His innumerable Leelas for his devotees. Baba has always pampered me the way a mother pampers her young one and caters to all its whims and fancies. I thank Baba for all His love, beg, and pray to Him that he continues to bestow His grace on me. God, my mother, help me to follow your teachings and be a good person in life.

I would like to post my experiences in Shirdi and with Sai Sat Charitra, i.e. With Saibaba himself. I read many books of philosophy and religious scriptures and I had started feeling subtle vibrations at holy places like temples and pilgrimages. Once, two of my friends and me wanted to visit Shirdi. We reached Shirdi and had darshan at the Samadhi temple. It felt nice, however I could not feel much vibrations there although I felt a feeling of calmness, serenity and silence.

Then we went for the darshan of Gurusthan and then to Masjid Mai, We had darshan of dhuni and then opposite to the dhuni was the stone on which Baba used to sit. Devotees were placing their heads on the stone and I stood near the stone waiting for the small queue to get over.

As I was standing, I felt as if someone was hitting my legs with the sand. I was wearing jeans and when I looked down there was nothing to be seen hitting my legs still the feeling was the same and soon the feeling took over the other parts of the body. My friends had the same feeling. I had never felt the subtle vibrations so strong, ever. I was getting overwhelmed. We stood in the queue, which was reduced to about three devotees. I placed both my hands on the stone and then the head. What great energy I felt. Whole of my vertebrae column was vibrating and I felt energy rushing between my eyebrows. I stayed there for about 3 minutes. My friends later told that a devotee wanted to disturb me as there were devotees waiting in the queue. But another devotee stopped him by saying "Achi Bhakti kar raha hai" ( he is doing good devotion). I was like a drunk with the divine energy of Baba. I sat besides the stone enjoying the bliss and the energy I was receiving. Both my friends had the same energy. We sat there and again and again put our heads on the holy stone with the same effect. The feeling of that great energy the presence was felt even when we reached hotel and thereafter for few days. This presence is always felt when ever I go to the holy land Shirdi.

We had bought Sai Baba’s pictures, the original one with the umbrella. After reaching home, I was watching the photo and the energy began to rise within and without. What energy that is, one thing is sure that such energy cannot be created by us, but can only be received by grace. I feel so thankful to merciful Baba who showers this grace on unworthy child like me. Whenever I feel this presence, I am sure that it cannot be produced by my efforts.

Once I got impatient and thought why I cannot have this energy every second of the day. I want to be in the same energy always (I still have this feeling). So, I decided that I would sit watching Baba’s picture until I get the self-realization. I decided that I will do nothing else but keep watching Baba’s picture. I watched the picture for about an hour. I thought that I should also read Sai Sat Charitra, as the energy felt was too much.

I casually opened the book and began to read. The chapters 18 and 19th, chapters had the story of the author who had the similar thought of impatience. Baba had sent him to chitchat with another devotee Shama. Shama then narrated the story of Mrs. Radhabai Deshmukh, who had decided and gave up food until Baba gave her a mantra. Then Baba called her and told her his own story where he had said that he had served his Guru for long and his guru had asked for two paise. Those were Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience). Here I was struck with the word patience with great impact and also in the second last paragraph the words To some devotee, who was practicing Hath-Yoga, He sent word that he should leave off Hath-Yoga practices, sit quiet and wait (Saburi) struck me. I then left the idea of hath and decided to remember and watch his picture with Saburi. Here I remember the Shree Ramakrishna Paramhansa’s words that how could one who think about consciousness get unconscious. So how can one who watches the picture of consciousness incarnate get unconscious? I still meditate on Baba’s picture and feel this consciousness within and without. I was also very much against the miracles. There is a very good book Meher Baba on Sai Baba. In which Meher Baba had explained they perform miracles so that they can attract devotees and give them what they want them to give. Also, there is nothing like miracles. Our small mind when it sees something happening, that is beyond its grasp it calls it miracle. Nothing was and is beyond Baba’s grasp. For instance, television, or phone or radio or even switching of the light bulb would be termed as miracles by the people living in 15th century. In the similar manner, many times when I would feel troubled and casually read Sai Sat Charitra. I had opened the chapters that would get my agitated mind and lead it to peace. Other great thing about this blessed book the invaluable gift to us by Baba is that even holding it makes me feel the presence. Once I was in deep emotional pain. I felt that the very roots of my being were shaken and I choose to get in this painful experiences rather than avoiding them. The pain was deep and I thought I would go mad by this painful experience. My body was paralyzed by the emotional pain and I was lying on the bed. At that time, I put Sai Sat Charitra on my heart I felt much energy going from the book in my heart and balanced it. The pain was there but the energy to sustain was received.

I have also bought a shawl from Sai Sansthan Shop in Shirdi and get touched by Samadhi of Baba. The shawl when placed on my body also makes me feel this presence. I had this desire of touching and placing my head on the articles used by Baba. Last time I was I Shirdi and was visiting a house of a devotee of Baba, when Baba was still in the human form. The ancestor of the devotee suddenly stood up and started showing me the articles used by Baba, the kafni, the satka, the tin pot, the footwear, which were gifted by Baba to his forefather devotee. Not only this, he insisted that I hold them for a while. There were devotees in queue before me and after me, none he asked to hold them but me. SadGuru Sainath Maharaj ki Jai.

This is a reply to a devotee, who wanted to understand the great Baba’s response for her/his wish and wish fulfilling prayer. I am just giving you one of my experiences with BABA. I have a wonderful book"SAIBABA THE MASTER" by E.BHARADWAJA. I started reading this book, just merely to fulfil the wish/desire I had in my mind. Till an year back, my relation with BABA was some thing like give and take. I mean here, I pray to him in my mind like I am reading this book and I want a particular thing. He used to respond positively exactly in the last moment of finishing this book. Of course, I was bit reasonable, I mean here I never asked him like something impossible. Because this is against his philosophy, we must deserve the thing we ask for (from him). This is what he demonstrated to a rich guy, who came for Brahmagnana. O.K, Let's not get deviated. An year back, I think I completed parayana of this book some 11 times or more successively taking some three days a reading. You can understand, how much time I spent not less than 5-6 hours a day continuously for a month or so. All I did is for his(Baba) grace to process my application to join SAP as SAP professional. This was the time SAP professionals were being paid highest in the market. But I came to know that I was rejected. That was the second time I failed from my kamadhenu ("SAIBABA THE MASTER"). The first time I failed was when I wanted to become an Indian Civil Servant without putting the required amount of effort. I ignored this case because, I was like the guy who asked for what he didn't deserve. But in the second failure, I couldn't agree with BABA that I was not amongst the deserved ones. When I failed in the second time, I tried to understand myself. Am I wrong in thinking that I don't belong to the non-deserved candidates? If so, I am an egoist. If I am not wrong BABA hasn't shown grace on me, subsequently the deal failed between me and BABA. But he(BABA) said, I(BABA) should return 100 times to the amount I take from devotees. So where did my prayers gone. No where, He knows every thing. He is mercy no doubt about it. He knows what is best for us, not we. Now, I understood why BABA didn't make me a SAP professional. The job market for SAP profession disappeared some thing like a water bubble, what appeared to me like an unbeatable career I Dec 98.Whose knowledge is real knowledge is it my knowledge about myself or his knowledge about myself. That's up to you. Even though, my relation with him(BABA)was strained for a day or two some where Dec 98. He never minds for it. It is the kid who gets angry with his/her mother for not getting what he/she wanted from mother and responds towards mother accordingly. But mother always thinks which is best for the kid and acts accordingly but not according to kid's wish. This is the law for the kids who stay together with mother like we all with BABA. No prayer goes unanswered in his masjid. The only thing is we understand some times and sometimes not. I am sure, BABA is trying to get some thing better

My family regards Baba as its Head and in turn we are blessed by Baba to the extent that whatever we pray to Him, He fulfills. There are a good number of such experiences of His grace on us, which have been penned by me from time to time and published in different magazines and newspaper. I narrate one of them.

It was the decade 1970s when we were financially tight but pulling on our livelihood somehow. I thought that whatever I get is with Baba's blessings, I owe a part of my earnings to Him. I started sending by money order or check a token amount to Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, which I still continue. You will be surprised to note that I never felt any financial crisis there after, and the cash box in our house is never empty, even on the last days of the month. I feel, Baba's saying,"..... The devotee, those who pay dakshina to Me, get 10 times more to whatever they offer and make their own ways in the spiritual life...." is 100 percent true, and He takes care of him. "You look to me, I look to you." "You take one step forward, I will take 10 steps forward for your welfare."

I strongly believe in two words Shradha & Saburi given by Shree Lord Saibaba. This two words helps everyone in frustrating situations of life. Everyday I pray to him and remembering that "If you look at to me, I will look at you" slogan. I understand that whatever you give to me is the best for me. With the blessing of Lord Shree Saibaba, I have good wife, a three month old son, and good job. His majesty is proven.

One of my latest experiences is that I am having three children; they are all settled in America. I wanted to go US for the delivery of my younger daughter. Before leaving India, I needed medical checkup. So I went for general checkup, I am a healthy person, I used to think, but the doctor who checked me said that I have "Breast cancer" and that I needed a surgery immediately. At that time, I did not worry but put the entire burden on Baba. The surgery was done immediately. Even though, none of my children was with me. At that time, all of my relatives were by my side with so much love and affection. Through my surgery, chemotherapy and radiation Baba made sure that my body did not go through any pain. Many people told different stories and experiences about cancer, but I never got frightened at all. Why should I be frightened? I was always under the graceful eyes of Baba This happened in the year 2003 on 14th Jan. Until this day by Baba's grace, I am not facing any health problems. Even though I started doing, my entire household works, as soon as my surgery done, that was from 18 days only. My children are Baba devotees; during my surgery, they gave me a lot of courage. They always believe in Baba, so at time of my daughter's delivery even though no one went for her help, baba made sure that she was looked after with care by arranging one or the other person to help her in her need. By baba wonderful grace, she gave birth to a healthy and cute baby with out any complications. Both of them are very healthy with Baba's blessings .I think in every problem baba is there to solve with love, one thing we should have 'Shraddha bakthi'. With the grace of Baba, all my children are leading happy life. I am attending Baba's bhajans regularly, which keeps me happy and peaceful. Bestow your kindness always on us Baba one word to all Baba devotees, always believe in Baba and he will look after you. Baba, I bow to your lotus feet.
