In Madhya Pradesh, there is a big town named Indore. There is a big temple of Raja Vikramaditya’s deity Goddess Harishiddhi. In the year 1915, there lived a Fakir named Rumalwala Baba besides the temple. He was called a Mast Fakir, he never used to beg, and he was in meditation of Sai Baba for 24 hours. Although there was no need to go to Shirdi for Baba’s darshan, he used to go to Shirdi many times to be engrossed in Baba.
In the year 1915, in the month of May on Friday, he visited Shirdi for Sai Baba’s darshan. he was in Sai Baba’s meditation in Dwarkamai. At that time a photographer came and captured Baba’s photo (adjoining photograph) and ran away with the camera. Baba abused him a lot for his act. On the third day i.e. Sunday, that photographer came and gifted the photograph to Sai Baba in the presence of Rumalwala Baba. At that time Prof. Ganpatrao Narke, son-in-law of Shri Bapu Saheb Buti, was seated before baba to take about his job. Baba gave the photograph to him and said, “Take this! The person who has the photograph, his calamities would vanish ( Beda Paar Ho Gayega).
Rumalwala Baba thought that how nice would be of Baba, if he had given me such a incomparable photograph. After that people sang Madhyayan Arti, stotras, Baba gave Udi to all and ordered everybody to go and have their lunch.

Like a bird is not happy without wings, so is snake without a pearl, an elephant is not happy without trunk, so Rumalwala Baba was unhappy without the photograph. He went to Balabhau’s lodge to eat, but could not even eat a morsel. Some how he finished off his lunch and got up to give Balabhau eight annas for the lunch. Then along with the money the photograph also came out from his pocket. He became so happy and emotional that he started dancing and jumping. He said to everyone, “See I got Baba’s divine photograph, see i got Baba’s divine photograph. Baba had said whosoever preserves this photograph, his calamities would vanish”. By getting Baba’s divine photograph, there was no bound to happiness of Rumalwala Baba, he was very excited, his eyes overflowed with tears, he kept the photo nearby his heart and started embracing it again and again. After some days, Rumalwala came back to Indore, he kept the photograph in a recess of a wall.

Some years later, a devotee named Shri Pathakji started coming to Rumalwala Baba. One day took the photograph in his hands. Seeing this Rumalwala Baba, became very angry and said, “You have teased me by taking the photograph in your hands. Now don’t keep it here. You take the photograph and keep it with you. Whosoever will have this photograph, preserve it, worship it, light lamp and incense stick before it, their calamities would vanish. In this way the divine photograph of Baba passed away from Rumalwala Baba to Shri Pathakji.

A Sai Baba devotee named Gajananrao Krishnarao Nirakhe, but people used to call him Bapu Saheb, only for offering service visited frequently Shirdi. He lived in Gandhinagar. After getting the divine photograph of Sai Baba Shri Pathakji, he joined the team of Bapu Saheb for visiting Shirdi. Seeing the utmost devotion to Sai Baba, Shri Pathakji sent that divine photograph to Bapu Saheb through another devotee of Sai Baba named Shri Upasani. He danced and jumped with joy after getting the photo. He got the photograph framed and tied it in his neck. Devotees of Indore built a temple of Sai Baba. The idol of Sai Baba was duly installed by Bapu Saheb.
In the year 1987, on 10th and 11th October, in a huge hall of Shreyas School, Baroda, Akhil Bhartiya Sai Sammilan was held. Late Shri Maganlal Jermanwala, author of Sai Sarovar Book was honoured. Indore’s Bapu Saheb was also present on the occasion. He had that divine photograph of Sai Baba which He had Himself given tied in his neck. Sai Baba then inspired Bapu Saheb to give the photograph to Sai Sarovar.

1.         BABA PROVED HIMSELF THAT THERE WERE NO SISHYAS NO RELATIVES, NO INCARNATIONS NO SUCCESSORS AND NO HEREDITARY TO HIM
Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi took His Mahasamadhi on 15-10-1918. After His Mahasamadhi, Baba's Samadhi was not looked after in a fit manner upto 1922. Having seen the maintenance of Baba's Samadhi by the villa­gers, Shri Kakasaheb Dixit came to Shirdi, settled an office with a managing committee under Public Trust Act with the approval of the District Court, Ahmednagar. At that time, Shri Abdul Baba was performing Abhishek to Baba's Samadhi and the Maha Naivedyam food was given to him and he was allowed to take his residence in the room situated in the left side of the Samadhi Mandir. Shri Abdul Baba was the then only local leading devotee of Baba. He was then having about four or five thousand rupees of Baba's dakshina amount with him offered by Baba's devotees. Some well wishers of him induced him that he was the legal heir to Baba and that the formation of the Trust was against justice. Thereby Abdul Baba filed a suit stating that he was the legal heir to Baba, against the Trust Body in the District Court, Ahmednagar. The bellowed District Court by the grace of Baba passed orders that Abdul Baba has no connection of the maintenance of the Sansthan of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi and that there was no heir or successor to Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi. On the strength of this order the Maha Naivedyam food given to him was stopped by the Sansthan and he was made to vacate his room in Baba's Samadhi Mandir. As Baba said, that He would be with the same power for one thousand years and looking after the welfare of His devotees, He himself proved that there were no Sishyas, no relatives, no hereditary, no successor, no rebirth and no reincarnation to Him.

HOW SHRI MUKTHARAM, A STAUNCH DEVOTEE OF BASA FARED WHEN HE WANTED TO OCCUPY BABA'S GADI
Shri Muktharam was a staunch devotee of Baba. Baba gave a Kupni to him. He lived in Dixit Wada by keeping a Dhuni. After some days of Baba's Samadhi, he came and sat in Baba's Gadi in Dwarakamayee. As soon as he sat in Baba's Gadi against the wishes of the villagers he began to vomit blood and he was taken to his residence in the Dixit Wada. The devotees decided to take him to Kopargaon Hospital . Before the decision was taken with whom he was to be sent to Kopargaon, he died in Dixit Wada itself. His Samadhi is in Lendi Baug. This incident also goes to show that Baba was not willing to allow anybody to occupy His Gadi.


BABA PROVED THAT THIS WAS NO REBIRTH TO HIM
When Baba was in flesh and blood He told that I would take rebirth. Having ground on this word of Baba, people in some places pose that they were Sai and their words were Sai's words. In 1943 a boy in Amravati was directing people that he was Sai Himself and that he earned a lot of money and began to utilize for himself. Then the people realised his deceit and found that there was not even a bit of Sai's cult in him and ignored him afterwards.
Secondly, another person near Madras began to tell people's aim in their mind for the present and the past (Mind reading) and began to earn in Sai's name due to his greediness. Once he told to the people "why are you people wandering for the dead Sai Baba. I am with life here". On hearing these words from him, people determined that he was not the rebirth of Sai Baba as Baba Himself told that "Saints never die".

HOW BABA HADE MADHAVRAO DEHSPANDE (SHAMA) TO HAND OVER HIS PADUKAS, PHOTOS ETC. TO BABA'S SANSTHAN WHICH HE KEPT IN HIS HOUSE AFTER BABA'S MAHASAMADHI
After Baba's Mahasarradhi, Madhava Rao Deshpande alias Shama an intimate local devotee of Baba was managing the Dixit Wada. He was looking after the welfare of the devotees and resided in Dixit Wada itself. After the formation of Baba's Sansthan Committee the Committee demanded agreement (Baada Chitti in Marathi) from him for his residence in Dixit Wada. Madhava Rao first refused. But later, Shri S. B. Dhumal and Shri B. V. Dec intervened and Madhava Rao gave the agreement. After some days, the committee vacated Madhava Rao from his residence in Dixit Wada. At the time of vacating, he had taken away Baba's silver Padukas, Baba's Photos etc. to his house from Dixit Wada. After knowing this, the committee asked Madhava Rao to hand over the above articles of Baba to the Sansthan. He refused first. But Shri S. B, Dhumal went to his house with a big procession of bhajan, band etc. On seeing this procession Madhava Rao handed over all the above articles of Baba to Shri S. B. Dhumal. These Baba's Padukas were placed before Baba's Photo in Dwarakamayee wherein lakhs of devotees are taking darshan of the above Baba's Padu­kas now.
By reading these items (I) to (4) it is clear, evident and proved beyond all reasonable doubts by the grace of Baba that there were no sishyas, no hereditary, no relatives, no successor, no rebirth and no reincarnation to Him. Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi from His Mahasamadhi till date and even upto the year 2918 as was told by Him, He Himself is affecting the welfare of His devo­tees. Now let us read how Baba was effecting and is now affecting the welfare of His devotees.

BABA   SAVED   SHRI G. B. MANKAR AND HIS MEN FROM THE JAWS OF DEATH
In his letter, Shri G. B. Mankar has stated to Shri Tarkhad in 1923 during his work in his work field, it has to lift a 375 horse power diesel engine (weight 12 tons) in a fly crane. As the fly crane was not so strong to bear the weight of the engine, a cracking sound came from the crane and all were afraid. Then Shri Mankar cried out “Sai Baba” and invoked His help. After his utterance all of a sudden smell of rose flowers and agarbattis spread over the field and Baba has appeared on the spot and saved all the people from the jaws of death. Mankar saw baba and again cried out "Baba".
All others meant that “Kaka” of Mankar came there. But Mankar has cleared their doubt and that Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi had came to the spot and saved them from the jaws of death. Is this incident does not show that Baba is living and lending His helping hand to His de­votees as and when they are in trouble ?

BABA SAVED SHRI R. MOREWALA FROM FALLING DOWN FROM THE TRAIN
Shri R. Morewala Solicitor of Bombay was not so much religious minded. But he has got faith in Baba. In 1953 he was going to Thana by a train. The train was over crowded and hence he could not get into the train and was standing at the door. Then the train moved. Owing to the pushing of the crowd from inside the train, he fell down from the door and while falling down, he uttered the name of Shri Sai Baba. The chain was pulled out by one old man and the train was stopped. That old man caught the hand of Morewala and prevented him from falling down. All the people and the guard came to see why the train was stopped and who pulled the chain? Shri R. Morewala also wanted to pay tribute to the old man. But the old man was not there and he had disappeared. All were sur­prised, Shri Morewala went to his house and told this incident to all his family members. This incident was told to his son when he went to Chalisgaon in 1964 by a Saint "That had I not saved your father's life in 1953?" Is this not mean that Baba is still living and helping His devotees when they require His help?

BABA SAVED SHRI K. JAGADISH MUNSHI FROM THE HANDS OF RAZAKARS
On 1948, Shfi Jagadish K. Munshi and his wife were travelling in first class compartment of the train going from Bangalore to Bombay . There were six members in the compartment including an old couple and two youngsters. Shri J. K. Munshi and his wife were playing cards. The old man was praying and his wife was watching the others. Before their departure from Bangalore , they had been advised not to travel by this particular route because of Razakars trouble then prevailing in other places of Hyderabad state. They did not pay any heed to the advice as they were youngsters then. The train left Hyderabad and was approaching Sholapur Station in Indian Union. All of a sudden, the train was forced to stop at Gangapur. The Razakars who assembled there with rifles, lathis and other lethal weapons cried out "All Muslims get down. Kill all Hindus". The old man all along in prayer ordered to close all the doors and windows. They promptly carried out his orders. The wailing of passengers who were pulled out of the train, beaten and robbed and field into the nearby fields. The Rasakars repeatedly tried to force to open the doors of their com­partment but failed to do so. Even in this calamity the old man observed his prayer. The struggle went on nearby for five hours. Then the train came to Sholapur with their only one compartment. All the inmates of the compartments arrived safely untouched by the Raza­kars. After somedays of this incident, the old man gave an article in a magazine that because of his prayers to Shri Sai Baba Shirdi that the compartment of the train escaped unhurt by the Razakars. As a witness, he mentioned the name of Shri Jagadish K. Munshi in the article. He told that it was true that the old man was particularly praying at the time and added that he had never heard the name of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi he forgotten to thank of him. Later on, in 1953, when calamities came in his family, he saw a picture of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi which was hung in a frame maker's shop on his way to his office. He looked his teachings in the photo as "If you look to me, I shall took to you” Then he remembered the past incident and with his wife's consent, he bought one Sai Baba's photo and performed puja requesting Baba to solve his problems, within a few days thereafter, all his problems had settled at his reasonable satisfaction and the puja went on regularly.
After two years, he was once traveling by a night train left Surat to Bombay . After the train left Surat railway station he developed severe pain on account of stone in the bladder. The pain aggravated in such a manner that he could neither sit, stand nor lie down. He then began to pass blood through urine. His copas­senger was sleeping. When the train came to Palghar, the pain was so severe that he woke up his copassenger and urged him to call the guard. The guard came and complained the position that no doctor could be traced in the train and advised to get down at Palghar and have a treatment from a local doctor. The guard called the Station Master and under their joint advice, he got down at Palghar and the train left the railway station. With the help of Station Master, he was lifted up into a bullock cart and driven to the doctor's residence as the doctor refused to come to the railway station in the late hours of the night. In this critical juncture he prayed Shri Sai Baba for help. The doctor attended on him and gave treatment and he was somehow relieved of the pain. The doctor also sent a call to his relatives at Bombay and they arrived and took him to Bombay the next day. Even for this incident, he did not consider any particular significance to Shri Sai Baba Shirdi. In 1968, his father took him to Sri Satya Sai Baba and introduced to him Shri Satya Sai Baba Said, "I knew him. He is a believer of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi for the last 16 years. Once he got out of the train in severe pain and called Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi. It was Shirdi Sai Baba who saved him. This utterance of Shri Satya Sai Baba himself assumed significance to Shri Sai Baba Shirdi by him.
In 1959, his one month old daughter fell ill seve­rely and was admitted to the Hospital. The treatment went on for three weeks. Even then the child had been suffering high temperature, his wife and himself were very morose. On 14-11-1959, they were informed by two leading doctors that the survival of the child were remote. He decided that if the child does not survive he would end his worship to Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi. After this decision by him, the temperature of the child decreased gradually and became normal by 7 P.M. within three months of this incident the child was in the pink of health. In March, 1960, they visited Shirdi by car with the child of five months. On the way the child uttered first words "BA-BA-BA-BA" He told that Shri Sai Baba Shirdi is solving his knotted problems of his existence and guiding him. Apart from all these, a great problem among the devotees that Shri Satya Sai Baba is the reincarnation of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi was been solved beyond doubt by Shri Satya Sai Baba himself in his own sayings in para 2 of this article that he is not re-incaranation of Shri Sai Baba, Shirdi. BABA SAVED A WOMAN FROM DEATH
In 1927, a husband and wife were returning home after celebrating Ramanavami at Shirdi. The wife got down at Thana railway Station to fetch water and just when with a water full vessel, she was boarding the train, the train started and the woman fell down under the train. The husband and other passen­gers combined shouted to the guard to stop the train. They feared, the woman must have been crushed under the wheels as the train having started already stopped only after it had gone some distance. They ran up to the spot of accident; to their utter amazement they saw the woman standing there uninjured. In reply to the enquiry to all, "the woman said as soon as I fell I remembered Baba. He at once appeared, stood in front of me pressed me hard against the platform till the train passed away and saved me. Baba disappeared as soon as the train left the platform. What sort of Body, Baba had assumed to save this woman? One can hardly know for usually there is no room enough to stand for two persons between the train wheels and the platform, and yet what is not possible to a superman like Baba?

Baba way to Predict Someone’s Death In Shirdi:
In Shirdi village, if anyone was to die, Baba used to go to the borders of the village and blew a conch shell (a conch shell is blown before prayers are stared to make the atmosphere pure as per Hindu tradition). So the villagers cam to know that someone would die the next day.

I cannot but share with this group my sincere gratitude to Baba for his abundance grace he has been showering on me and my family for various issues for which I have had absolutely no answer.

In Dubai I was reeling with so much of difficulties for an accommodation, to my relentless prayers Baba first blessed me with a suitable allowance, but still for some unknown reason I could not get an independent dwelling. The all merciful Lord, the Master Planner was knowing why I should not get an independent apartment then. My son who was till then very bright in his studies broke down the previous day of the model / quality assessment exams of the 12th (Plus 2) saying he is not writing the Board Exams as he has not studied anything. I took him to so many Counseling Centres, Psychologists, and even to many other doctors and he was also undergoing medication for sometime. In spite of my new job I had to take short leaves and travel to India 3 times in two months. My wife and myself were so worried and except praying we have had no recourse.

By the grace of God at last with parents, teachers and well wishers insistence that he writes the Board exams as he would definitely pass the exams even without opening the books as he was so bright, he finally agreed.

Since my daughter was also appearing for the 10th (Board) exams which were falling on the same day, my wife could not have managed them alone as she has to take my son to a school 65 Kms away for his morning exam and by the time she comes back my daughter has to leave for her afternoon exam. I was not knowing what to do as I had not completed 1 year with my present job by which time I had done my 3 trips to India. However, without knowing anything I approached my boss for a 20 days annual leave and he instantly approved it without any hesitation, despite of the fact that there was yet another new person to join for my work coverage.

So I could reach home the previous day of my childrens exams and stay there till next day of the last exams. All these exams days, after sending my wife and son to school I used to light the lamp and do my regular prayers and till they come back I also used to play and listen the Sai Amrita Vani CD Maneeshji gave me in Dubai and used to silently talk to Baba of all my fears. Some days, I used to feel as if Baba reassuring me that everything will be alright.

Even though the exams were over we were all tensed and worried if my son could get at least the pass mark.

When the results came my daughter passed with a 90% plus marks and my son 82% plus. By Sainath's grace, my son is normal now and is in the process of enrolling for an Engineering course. My daughter joined for a very good school for her Higher Secondary studies and also joined for the famous Prof PC Thomas classes with a hostelling facility and thus paving a way for my wife to join me. In the meantime I could also get a reasonably good independent accommodation in Dubai itself.

My Sainath, my beloved Baba, I have no word how to thank you for your immense mercy and do not know how to express our sincere gratitude for all your grace and blessings.

Please accept me and my family at thy lotus feet and let us pray to thee to show us the way and lead us ahead in the days to come in life ahead.

Once again with koti koti pranam at thy lotus feet my beloved Baba.

I, Sunil Walvekar reside in Borivali Mumbai. I have a shop of watch repairing since 1993, which runs with Sai Kripa. I started this business on a small bench. My wife, my brother, and I all work hard in unison, remember Sai Baba every minute and thus by Sai Baba’s grace we can earn money which is sufficient to run the expenses of our family.

There are approximately 25-30 pictures of Sai Baba in my shop. My daily routine consists of light incense sticks and Dhoop, offer garland and flowers and do Aarti at 12:00 in noon and at 6:15 in the evening. Approximately 70-100 customers visit my shop everyday from 9:00 in the morning till night. Many people come only to bow to Sai Baba. One devotee sometimes comes to give coconut for Sai Baba. One Sai devotee comes daily to offer some prasad before the noon arti.

Before few days, a lady came for repairing a watch at my shop. I was offering a garland to Sai Baba pictures after lighting the incense sticks. She stood there silently for much time. After finishing my daily worship to Sai Baba I took the watch to be repaired and asked her to come the next day. The watch was repaired and the lady came the next day to take its delivery. I gave him the repaired watch and she paid the charge of it. After this she suddenly asked me a question that what does the flowers and garland, which you offer to Sai Baba, cost you for a day? The question was unexpected for me. I answered saying that it costs me approximately Rs. 90 per day and in this way we give back to Sai Baba what He gives us and so we are not worried of this cost.

Listening to me she immediately gave me Rs. 90 and requested me to offer the garland and flowers to Sai Baba on her behalf for that day. When I expressed my desire to ask her the reason for her offering she answered me in a low voice. She started by introducing herself as Christian by caste. Till today I have never got a chance to go to another temple leaving my church nor there was any occasion of same sort. Yesterday when I came to your shop for repairing my watch you were busy in your worship. I was in very difficulty and confused in my personal matters. I put this matter before Sai Baba and today when I have come to you, all my problems are solved with the grace of Sai Baba. So I want to express my gratitude towards Him by offering Him this gift of flowers. I hope that you will surely fulfill my wish. I was overwhelmed with joy by hearing the words of that lady and I bow from the deep of my heart of the God of all Caste Our Beloved Sai Nath Maharaj.

Last week I happened to visit my maternal uncles place, a village near Jamnagar (Saurashtra region in Gujarat State). People of village are simple, ignorant and devout people. With the efforts of my maternal aunty and my cousin many people there read Sai Satcharitra and very greatly benefited by it. I had a chance to meet many such persons and was very touched. Earlier there was no Sai temple in that village. With the grace of Baba now one temple is constructed on the outskirts of the village. Coincidently I happened to reach there on Thursday. Our house is situated on the main road. The traffic of the road is clearly visible from the windows of the house. I saw many people going on the road that day. I was surprised why so many people were seen on the road. On inquiry to my aunty, she said that they all are going to Sai Mandir. She added that many people go there bare footed on Thursdays and offer coconut and flowers to Sai Baba. We also went for Darshan of Sai Baba in that temple. When we reached there, I felt as if there was fair in the village and all the residents of the village gathered in the temple. In the temple compound there was no space for a person to stand erectly because of the crowd. Somehow with push and pulls of other devotees I got darshan of Sai Baba. I was not all bothered about the troubles, but was happy to see that Sai Baba had pulled many devotees towards Him.

My aunty told me an experience of a small kid of one year named Aditya living in front of their house. He was having very high temperature after Diwali. At that time he was only seven months old. The doctors advised his parents to admit him as soon as possible. My cousins are very fond of playing with him and Aditya is also fond of them. So they brought him to our house to play. Incidentally my cousin asked Aditya to speak Baba and said that he would be well soon. He was not able to speak at that time. But surprisingly, he spoke Baba. From the moment he spoke Baba his health started improving and doctors also said that now it was not necessary to admit him. With the grace of Sai Baba in few days he recovered completely. I was wonderstruck to hear that Sai Baba was so close to a kid who is just one year old whereas many of adult persons have not heard anything about Sai Baba.

In another instance, I happened to meet a lady who was worshipper of Mataji and her family. The daughter-in-law of that lady was eight months pregnant after eight years of marriage. When she went for regular check up, doctor said that the baby was coming downwards from its position and that would be dangerous for the life of both the child and the mother. The family members were much tensed and did not know what to do. That lady consulted my maternal aunty in this matter. My aunty gave Sai Satcharitra and asked her to give it to her daughter-in-law to do Parayan. She did Parayan and completed the book in seven days. After few days during regular check up the doctor said that the baby has restored its position and now the danger has been vanished. The other family members also started believing in Sai Baba due to this incident and did Parayan for 4-5 weeks one after another. Now the grandson of the lady is of two months. They say that he is Prasad of Sai Baba. Had He not there, he wont be with them. The child is very healthy. Though he is two months old, it seems as if he is five to six months old. There is a calendar of Sai Baba hung near the wall, where the cradle of the child is kept. Whenever he wakes up, he looks at the calendar and says Hu Hu Hu. The lady said me that he looks at the calendar as if Sai Baba is saying something to him and he is replying. Whatever may be the Leela of Sai Baba, the child is really blessed to get the company of Sai Baba in his tender age!!

Hi, Sai baba has been with me all the time whenever I have called for him. Last year my mom was sick and the doctor said she has to be operated but her heamoglobin was at 8 and the doctor said they can't operate her till the heamoglobin reaches minimum 11 to 13. I prayed to sai baba and sai gave me everything. I have ever asked for this time too on Thursday my brother called and told me that mom is fine and her heamoglobin is at 13 within a week and Thursday was the day she was successfully operated. Sai baba of shirdi is my father, my mother, my brother....infact my everything he has made my dreams come true and showed me that he really takes care of his devotees no matter how far they live from shirdi.

Nanasaheb Chandorkar was a strict devotee. He observed all rituals. It was his practice that he gave offering first to Agni Dev (i.e. God of fire), then he waited for some guest to come and served him food. After that only he took his meals. He used to read many sacred books. During one of his reading, he came across a story of Seth Sagaalsha. No guest came to the house of Seth Sagaalsha for many days, so he had to observe fast, as it was his practice to take his lunch after feeding some guests.

After reading the above incident, a doubt aroused in Nanasaheb’s mind regarding such principles written in Shastras. He thought that if such things are difficult to follow do Shastras comply to follow them? Sai Baba knows all Shastras and so my doubts would be clarified by Him only. so I must leave the matter to Him.

One day when Nanasaheb sat massaging Sai Baba’s legs in Dwarkamai, Sai Baba Himself started speaking. He said, ‘Nana! All the Shastras are correct. Shastras never speak useless things, and not even impure things. The definition of human may be different, the thoughts of human may be narrow, but it cannot be said that Shastras are useless. Guests would surely come!

Nanasaheb was not reminded that Sai Baba is clearing his doubt regarding Seth Sagaalsha which aroused while reading.

Sai Baba further explained, 'Can a man of three and half cubits can only be your guest? Can other living beings can’t be your guests? Just see here and there. You will find many hungry living beings ready to eat the food given by you. Crores of living beings like ants, housefly, crow, dog, goat, cow, rat, etc. roam near you to satisfy their hunger, so are they not your guests? So if you give them a dish full of eatables, they would consume it with love. After satisfying their hunger, those dumb animals will give you blessings and in turn God will be happy with you.'



So dear readers, whosoever comes to us for satisfying its hunger, we must be ever ready to do so. Sai Baba had said that satisfying one's hunger is equal to doing a Yagna. Simplifying further Sai Baba compared hunger with Yagna and thus it means if we satisfy one's hunger, we would get blessings and Punya of doing a Yagna. What a simple method our beloved Sai has given us!

Once some young boys went to Shirdi for Sai Baba’s darshan. They had bought camera with them as they wished to take Sai Baba’s photograph. After one or two days they presented their wish to Shama (Madhavrao Despande). Madhavrao planned that when Sai Baba returns from Lendibaug and reaches near Sathe Wada, he would request Him to wait for a while and during that time, the boys would capture the photograph.

As per their plan, the team along with Shama waited for Baba to return from Lendibaug by keeping the camera ready to capture Baba’s photo. Just then Baba came and asked, “Shamya, (sometimes Baba used to call Madhavrao ‘Shamya’ lovingly) What is this? Shama answered, “Baba, these boys wants to capture your photograph, please wait for a while”. Sai Baba said, “Tell these boys not to capture any photograph and just break the wall” and went away.

By the words, “Break the wall”, Sai Baba meant that He was not in only three and half cubits of body, but He was everywhere. So why there is any need to capture His photograph. There is a wall of ego, proud, laziness and break that wall. After breaking the wall of differentiation, devotees can be one with Him.


In an another incident, an expert photographer of Bombay came to Shirdi for darshan of Sai Baba. He wanted to capture Sai Baba’s photograph secretly and that’s why he had bought his camera with him. He captured the photograph. When the photograph was developed, it contained the face of the photographer’s guru instead of Sai Baba’s face. He was surprised to see such a divine miracle of Sai Baba. But later he understood that Sai Baba wanted to say that we should worship and serve only our guru.
