Sathe marries again(He had built Sathe wada in Shirdi )
OMSAIRAM!Sathe,he had lost his first wife when he was only 44.Leaving no son to perform his Shraddha after his death,his friends pressed him to go for another marriage so he could have a son born to him.But Sathesaheb,though he was anxious to get a son ,being nearly 50 yrs old flatly refused to marry again,as he wasnt sure to get a son so late in life.He assured his friends he will marry only if a great Saint would ask him to marry again.
Therefore Barve the Mamlatdar of kopergaon took him to Shirdi in April in 1904.They had the darshan of Sai baba and took Baba's leave.Sathe got down the steps when Barve informed Sai baba that the Saheb had no son to him.
Then BABA told Barve within Sathe's hearing that if Sathe married,Allah will bless him and he had get a son.
Later Sathe heard that a famous astrologer had come to the city of Pune,He went to him and consulted him and found his reading of his and his daughter past to be true and accurate (Hari Vinayak Sathe had a daughter from his first wife)The astrologer told him that his horoscope showed a son after Sathe's fifteith year,his desire to wed became stronger..........................

but how he was to get a suitable girl as bride?
Later when Sathe's transferred to Ahemdabad city Dada Kelkar wrote a letter to him and wrote him he had a fair daughter of marriageable age and to let him know if any proper groom was available in Ahemdabad?
As no groom could be found in Gujarat for a Maharashtrian girl,the Deputy Collector thought that Kelkar might have written that letter ,prompted perhaps ,by BABA's unseen hand,as a feeler just to sound the views of Sathe and to see whether he could offer himself as his son in law.So Sathe sent a reply to Kelkar that no groom could be found there and if Kelkar meant to offer that girl to Sathe himself.
Kelkar should consider his age and pros and cons and then take formal proposal,if he was pleased.
Kelkar wrote back to him he will be glad if he considered the offer.
Then Sathe wrote and asked Kelkar to take his daughter to Sai baba of Shirdi and if BABA approved of the proposed marriage for Sathe,unless BABA approved that girl ,he would never marry that girl.
Dada Kelkar an orthodox brahmin,was hostile to BABA and suggested he had consider a Brahmin Saint of Wai who happened to be his own brother in law instead of BABA.For he feared that BABA will not approve of the match and all his hopes and dreams fall to the ground.
But Sathe was adamant and did not give in and the reult was Dada Kelkar his daughter to BABA and was pleasantly surprised.No sooner he had stepped inside the mosque with the girl,BABA said to him "Send the girl to Ahemdabad"applied Kumkum to the girl and blessed her by putting a melon fruit into her hands.
With BABA's consent Sathe soon married that girl in his 50th yr and led a happy married life,begetting a Son and several daughters from that lady.
