Supernatural Powers of Sai Baba's Female Devotee Radhkrishnamai

Radhakrishnamai possessed some supernatural powers. She lived in Shirdi alone as her husband died after very few years of their marriage and thus she became widow in small age. Thus she had no family attachments and served Sai Baba whole heartedly. The following incident shows the powers of Radhakrishnamai. Although it is not related to Sai Baba directly or indirectly, I was encouraged to present this write up by Sai Babas grace only.

In the year 1916, Sai Baba did not allow Vamanrao Patel to return his town for 11 long months. During his stay in Shirdi, one day he woke up early in the morning. He saw Radhakrishnamai cleaning the roads alone. She was sweeping the roads, picking up small stones and even taking up the dung of animals. She did not have any hesitation or laziness in doing this work.

Vamanrao thought the Holy Feet of my Beloved Sai will be placed on this soil, so Dharti Mata is becoming soft. The person who is cleaning such soil is very fortunate. So I should also accompany in such noble work. Next day he woke up early in the morning and got engrossed in cleaning the roads without even taking permission from Radhakrishnamai.

Radhakrishnamai did not like anybodys interruption in her work. So interruption of Vamanrao displeased her. Poor Vamanrao was keeping aside the stones on the road. When he looked back after cleaning, he saw all the stones and rubbish on the same place where it was. Vamanrao got tired by repeating the work again and again. But the road was not at all cleaned. Vamanrao was unable to know whose art was this.

After few days, Bapu Saheb Buti, Kaka Saheb Dixit, Dr. Pillai got together for dinner at Radhakrishnamais place. At that time Tatya Patil openly narrated his own experience regarding Radhakrishnamai. He said once I had some conflict with Radhakrishnamai, at that time her angriness was on heights. After that I went to my farm and got busy in my work. Some stones came flying from somewhere and started hurting me on my legs. I was much hurt by this. But I could not find out who was throwing the stones at me. At last I realized that this deed is of Radhakrishnamai only.

Vamanrao realized his mistake of not taking permission of Radhakrishnamai and that was the reason why he was not able to clean the road completely.

Baba as Dattatreya





Sai Baba is Dattatreya, who is a full incarnation of God and accept him as their Greatest Teacher. They accord the same position and importance to Avadhootagita attributed to Dattatreya as they do to Shri Sai SatCharitra. Indeed both are celestial like Gita since they shower infinite compassion and eternal wisdom on the suffering humanity. The essence of Sai-Datta philosophy is the oneness of the individual soul with universal soul.

Faith in Saibaba slowly leads one to believe that Baba is behind the things done or undone.

Or, if one would say that somehow Baba will do it, is indicative of a blind faith in Sadguru's disposition. This is a feeling that rain or shine, it is Baba!


Leelas of Sai baba happen through people and situations in our surroundings in the most inconspicuous ways.


We experience it through mercy, compassion, and protection from those around us in a natural way.

 We pray to Baba, "Baba! I need money". I am in difficulties".


We offer naivedya to Baba and go to bed, but we do not see Baba keeping a lakh rupees under the pillow!


Someone will come to us and suggest a solution to our problem. Baba Himself said, "Not a single leaf moves without my order".

When the wind blows, the leaves on the tree move. When even the movement of a leaf from an inanimate tree requires Baba's order, His intent and grace, how can we think that everything is in our hands? When this awareness crops in us, the ego that makes us think, "We are doing something, we have to do it, we have to accomplish and we have accomplished because we have done something", will vanish. The realization that "He does everything. And we are not capable of doing anything" is called as "Complete Surrender"

The cognizance of "complete surrender" should remain as just an inspiration, a background to the pursuit of our desires, ideals, and trials.

 "poorva janma karma." That means all of us have come into this world with certain credits and debts. Until the debts are done, we have to pay for them, irrespective of however painful it would be. It is our own actions (karmas) in past and present lives that make the situations happen in painful or pleasurable way.


we need Baba's grace. "BABA ! Grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, and courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."

Om Sai Namo Namaha..

I would like to congratulate all the Sai devotees from the bottom of my heart and will also like to share my own experience.

I have been living in USA for last 7 yrs. I was having a lot of difficulty in getting a job and be established. I did my Masters program here taking out a student loan and started the program when my baby was only 4mnths old. It was a very trying journey for me and my whole family. However after I graduate, the recession was on and I wasnt able to find a job.
From nowhere. I suddenly had this Bhakti towards my Baba and started praying to Him day and night. I was lost for a while and didnt know where I am heading. By the Grace of Him I got a job just before my OPT (work permit) expired.

Then came the struggle of job, the job was not related to my industry, and I had no idea how to move forward. But slowly and steadily I did. I was in so much stress ,that I was felling ill all the time. Living so far way from my family and my husband had a constant travel job. I have no freinds here and I was very lonely. It felt like BAba took me in to His arms and gave me His blessings. I started reading Sai Satcharita and suddenly I was in an eternal peace.

The other problem was applying my h1 visa. my current company has no foreign workers and didnt want to get in to this.I tried to convince them but it just didnt work. Then we decide to go through a third party consultant. however in all these lenthy process, H1b quota was over! when I recived the news, I feel like there was a voice inside me said, "dont worry,,your visa will be done. Dont think about it anymore and leave it to me."

And I did,not even once for a second, I loost my faith and was 100% sure whatever Baba will decide for me that will be best. And 3 days after the lawyer called and said your visa can still go through, as I was in H1b before, I am not subjected to the cap!!! It was a miracle for me, nobody has said that to us before. Not only that, my visa got approved only in 7 days!!

I dont have words to describe the feeling, that I have been ( who is full of so many sins) accpted by Baba. I feel like when nobody belived in me ,He did and stood by me. All my problems are not over, I still have to make a place for my self in this company and have to work double hard. But I know, with His Grace I will get there, I am not scared of anything anyore, I know He will be with me always!

This pain, I know, is for repaying past Karma, but go to Baba and tell Him to stop the pain and transfer the working of my past Karma to ten future births of mine." Mr. Dixit went to Baba and told Him his request. Then Baba, being moved by his request, said to Dixit,"Tell him to be fearless. Why should he suffer for ten births? In ten days he can work out the sufferings and consequences of his past Karma. While I am here to give him temporal and spiritual welfare, why should he pray for death? Bring him here on somebody's back and let us work and finish his sufferings once for all".

Shayma returned and after saluting Baba said,"Deva, what is this play of Yours? You first raise a storm and make us restless and then calm it down and ease us". Baba replied "You see mysterious is the path of action. Though I do nothing, they hold Me resonsible for the actions which take place on account of Adrista (destiny). I am only their witness. The Lord is the sole Doer and Inspirer. He is also most merciful. Neither I am God nor Lord. I am His obedient servant and remember Him often. He, who casts aside his egoism, thanks Him and he, who trusts Him entirely, will have his shackles removed and will obtain liberation".

OMSAIRAM!Ekadashi is held by the hindus as an auspicious day to die and many of Baba's bhaktas like Kashiram Shimpi,Appa bhil,Tatya Patil,Mahalsapati,the Bhagat and some other had died on that sacred day and joined Baba's feet after their death.It is no wonder that Kaka Dixit also died on an Ekadashi day.
