BABA'S PRASAD FROM KOLAMB-Sai Charan Das(Pathanamkot)

Kalpa - Vriksha Shri Sai

On 29-8-76, I reached Shirdi at the lotus feet of Shri Sai Nathji Maharaj. It was after a period of one and a half year that I was allowed by HIM to come to His lotus feet, my last visit being in March 75.

On reaching there, I contacted Shri Shinde, who very kindly guided me to keep my luggage in room No. 8, above the parcel cloth depot and that some other room would be allotted to me after the Noon Aarti. I followed the attendant and when I came in front of room No. 8, I was wonderstruck and overjoyed to see that Shri Sai Nathji Maharaj was Himself there to receive me. (A big colour portrait of Babaji is there above the door of this room and no other room). After Noon Aarti, I kept my luggage in the newly allotted room and then went to Kopargaon to have the sacred Godavari bath and returned by evening. 

On 30-8-76, after attending Kakad Aarti and Abhishek, I went in Dwarkamai at 9 a.m. and started my Saptahik Path of Hindi Shri Sai Satcharita. Before starting reading, I prayed to Shri Sai that this parayan of mine should not be mere reading, but I must have His Grace definitely. After bowing at His lotus Feet, I started the Path. Hardly had I read one or two slokas of the first chapter, some flower leaves fell upon the "Granth", and when I looked up, an elderly Mahatman, having Ramuaam cloth upon his shoulders, was standing there. He applied Tilak on my forehead too and thus Shri Sai Himself blessed my Parayan. Later I came to know that the elderly Mahatman was none other than Shri Martand Bhagat, son of Late Shri Mhalsapaty, the Great Bhakta of Shri Sai Baba.

How and why I had come to Shirdi and why this Saptahik Path was done by me in Shri Dwarkamai, all this will be narrated in some next issue of Shri Sai Leela.

While doing the Parayan, I saw that Bhaktas were putting a little part of their offerings to Shri Sai Babaji in the Kolamb kept outside Shri Sai's Dhuni, which was being taken away as Prasadam by other Bhaktas.

And here Shri Sai Baba is "Kalpa-Vriksha": I demanded from Babaji this very Prasadam from the Kolamb, asking Him to give the same to me. And that neither I would pick it up from the Kolamba myself nor I would demand from any Bhakta, offering the same to Shri Babaji. I prayed in this manner and was confident that He will surely fulfill my desire.

Here I may point out that daily after the evening Aarti, I used to go to Abdul Baba's Cottage, opposite Chawadi, for some time.

On 31-8-76 (Tuesday) evening, one Conductor, who was also sitting in the Cottage, told me that I will have some unusual experience in Dwarkamai on Thursday (2-9-76). He further added that these words should not be taken as untrue, as he was also son of a PIR-FAKIR and was forced to utter there words.

On 1-9-76 (Wednesday) evening, in the same Cottage, one Panditji (Astrologer) also said to me that next morning (Thursday) I will have Shri Sai's Grace in Shri Dwarkamai. He too, added that he did not say this because of his knowledge, but a divine message was conveyed to me through him.

On 2-9-76 (Thursday) I went lo Dwarkamai at 8-30 a. m, after usual worship in the Samadhi Mandir and sat there. One Bhakta, Shri A. S. Manohar from Dadar, used to do parayan of Marathi Shri Sai Satcharita and after him I used to start my "path" at 9 a. m. Next to Shri Manohar, was sitting another Bhakta, next to him I, and next to me two other Bhaktas. In other words out of five, I was in the centre, two being on my each side. Just at this time one Bhakta comes, places his Thali of Naivedya (Halwa) in front of Babaji in Dwarkamai, takes a handful out of it and keeps the same in the Kolamb. Turns back, picks up his Thali and gets down the steps of Dwarkamai. Walking four or five steps, stops, turns back, climbs the steps of Dwarkamai, again places his Thali in front of Shri Babaji, comes to the Kolamb, picks up the prasadam (kept by himself), comes straight to me and offers the same to me. I stretch my hands and accept the same with reverence, with tears of joy in my eyes (DHANYA DHANYA SADGURU SHRI SAI NATHAJI MAHARAJ), Again the Bhakta picks up his Thali, gets down, goes four five steps, thinking something nods his head and moves on.

At the time of the evening Aarti, I again caught sight of that same Bhakta and approached him and thanked him for giving me Prasadam in Dwarakamai in the morning, whereupon he replied that he himself was unable to understand as to what made him pick up Prasadam from the Kolamb as that is against the usual practice. He thought over that again and again and came to the conclusion that Shri Sai Himself had wished all this and got the same done through him accordingly.

Shri Sai's beloved Bhaktas, during this visit, I experienced that it rained cats and dogs of His Grace and Blessings, which I will try to narrate by and by through the columns of Shri Sai Leela.

The publishing of all this is of course late, because I thought in my mind that all this BLISS is my personal property. But after getting inspiration by reading Shri Sai Satcharita, I have come to the conclusion that this sort of behavior is narrow mindedness which should be given up. And such experiences should be given in Shri Sai Leela, so that other Bhaktas may also enjoy His Grace.

Read here the story in short to understand the following experience by Sai Bhakt Usha Kiran Ji .

One day Baba called me to him and gave me a packet of Udi and a copy of Baba's Arati. I had to go to Khandesh at the time. Baba directed me to go to Jamner and told me to deliver the Arati and Udi to Nanasaheb Chandorkar, at Jamner. I said to Baba that all I had was Rs. 2, and asked Him how that could take me by train from Kopergaon to Jalgaon and next by cart from Jalgaon to Jamner. Baba said,"God will give." That was Friday and I started at once. I reached Manmad at 7-30 p.m. and Jalgaon at 2-45 a.m. At that time plague regulations were enforced and I had much trouble. I was to discover what I should do to get to Jamner. At about 3 a.m. a peon in boots, turban and well equipped with other details of good dress came to me and took me to a tanga and drove me on. I was in terror. On the way at Bhaghoor, I took refreshments. We reached Jamner early in the morning and by the time I attended my call of nature the tanga and its driver had disappeared -Sai satcharitra chapter -33

What do we understand by this Jamner Miracle as given here and written in our sacred Sai Satcharitra ? Dear All ...When a devotee earnestly with full faith and devotion calls his lord (Our Sai ),the Lord makes it sure that HE is there where HE is being called .Ways,means and all reasons work out in favour of devotee as per to the divine plan of the Lord and in the end when everything goes well ...what do we say

Miracle! God's Blessing" God is hearing us ? Our prayers answered!!

But for what ? do we analyse why it was answered by all means in different situation and circumstances...


Because we had called HIM sincerely with full heart and pure love for HIS Help and Lord is slave of His devotee as mentioned in Sai Satcharitra He came running with love for His Bhakt.

Baba said, ‘He who loves me most always sees me.’

I am the slave of my devotee. I love devotion. He who loves me most always sees me. He who withdraws his heart from the world and loves me is my true lover and he merges in me like a river in the sea.

Same thing happened with Shri Usha Kiran Gudur ji .Baba Reflecting His love by his bhakt ,making Believe over and over again that HE resides in Living and non living EVERYWEHERE..strengthening in us more and more reasons to think "HE IS THE COMPLETE DOER AND NOT A LEAF MOVES WITHOUT HIS WILL..except our SURRENDER TO HIS WILL Which Is the best sadhana of all sadhana."....I am putting the mail as written by Usha Kiran Ji .Please read here for more ....



Dear Manisha ji,

Thank you so much for posting the Udi which I have received yesterday ie 13th August. I have written my experience. Please go through.

After receiving mail from Manisha ji, I was waiting for the arrival of Udi by post. This Udi was very very important to me, as I had already mentioned, it confirmed the acceptance of my prayers to the Lord of Universe Shri Sai at Shirdi. In fact Manisha ji had posted the Udi on 31st of July. I was supposed to receive it by 7th of August. And I was really worried as it did not arrive in time. I called up Manisha ji informing her of the delay and requested her to send again, if I fail to receive it by 13th of August.

Here in Oman, some times the ordinary mail is mis delivered, and if the person who received it by mistake chooses to return it to the post office, then, It is either sent back to the sender or lost in the transit. I was feeling very sad as the mail did not turn up and losing Udi in the transit is not what I wished. I was feeling that Baba was not sending His blessings. (Here I was forgetting the blessings I received in a vision when Manisha ji's mail came informing of the posting of Udi.)

On Sunday ie 10th of August a flower placed on Baba's big photo had fallen down. I at once knew that Udi has come. But where is it??? I started going to the post office to check my post box thrice daily. On 13th noon, when I opened the post box, a cream colored envelope with the most precious Udi sent by my Sai sister Manisha ji was lying there... I could not believe.. what I saw.


Infact, it was delivered to the post box no. 992 and the person who received it returned it by writing on the envelope ' Try no. 942', where as 942 is my correct post box number. Now... what inspired him to write 942...,


why not 492 or 442?

If later was the case it would not have been delivered to my box at all. When I saw the consequences, my joy knew no bounds. It was Babas Leela only to strengthen my faith in him. When I called Manisha ji to inform, she, being such a pious and devoted lady.. was literally in tears and I was dumbstruck looking at her Bhakti.

I believe that whatever happens in our lives, it is entirely due to baba's krupa. I want to share with you all an experience i got in india by which i felt great happiness and was confirmed that sairam is always with me.
i always pray and wish saibaba while going anywhere say to college, shop, whatever it is. one day i was going to post office for urgently posting the required documents for higher education to a univesity in US. it was around 7pm and as it was getting late i had to go to a GPO , and in hurry i forgot to see baba and immediately after a few minutes i recalled that and thought that baba is with me always. i will definitely get to see his photo or statue in a bus or any where before going to post office. i searched and searched but i could not see. i was very much worried. i did a lot of searching but again thought that baba is in my heart. he is always seeing me and iam feeling him in and around me. i was in the queue near a counter in post office. i had to stand for about 15 min. still i was searching for baba's photo but couldn't find it when in line. ultimately it was my turn in ladies queue for posting and payment. just before i was about to give my documents to the person in counter my sight fell on the finger of a peson besides me who was in the adjacent queue. i was astonished!!
i saw a ring in his finger with saibaba's impression on it. i felt very happy and blessed. i feel it is a baba's leela. i got admission in the same univesity and now iam in US and my college will start on 25th august. now it is much more strongly evident that baba is always with me blessing and guiding me in a right path. he is always there with us protecting us from all the problems, evils and hardships. he will be with all of us blessing us, caring us and giving us the gist of our existence.
i derive immense pleasure in sharing my views with sai devotees and will continue to share my views and experiences....

I just wanted to share a wonderful experience with all the sai devotees.

"I recently was introduced to a very good sai devotee. Her name is "sasikala". I treat her as my sister. She used to always tell me her problems and was very upset, i told her to have patience in baba and told that everything will be fine.

Sasikala and me were chatting one fine evening. I was watching sai baba evening aarthi in net(LIVE) and even sasikala was watching it. We both were chatting and a wonderful thing happened. I asked sasikala to publish this in this website. She was reluctant for it and told that people would laugh at it. I assured her that "No sai devotee will laugh at this". She forwarded me her experience. Please find it below:


"Sairam!
I'm writing one small experience that happened to me, while I was chatting with Satish.Both of us, in the other window, had opened live dharshan of Shirdi. We were discussing about Baba.Satish was saying about his trip to Shirdi in September.
Suddenly, I saw one maroon/red colour spark( small stone size) from the chat window. I heard a sound and it disappeared.I told Satish, and, he was too happy.He asked me to write this in this website.I said people will laugh.He said "No sincere devotee of Baba will laugh".Then, today morning, I told one sai devotee (Uncle Vashi)i about it. He was saying probably "you may have to wear that stone(Ruby) or have it in your handbag.That reminded me one thing.When I was doing my CWA I prayed to Tirupathi Balaji, "if I get thru I will offer my ruby ring".But till now, I have not offered.
Then, today, I could not go to office, because, my mother has sprained her leg and swelling is there and my Father had fever.So, I worked from house only.I had some work in a place called Mylapore.Suddenly, I told the driver to go to Sai Baba temple.Oh My God! When I reached Baba's temple, he was wearing that same color dress(ruby red) which I saw yesterday.Not only that samadhi Mandir, Narasimha swamiji's chair, cot everything was in the same color.I have visited the temple so many times.I have never seen like that.That made me very happy.Sairam! Please don't laugh at this ok?Only forthe sake of Satish I'm writing to you people."

How wonderful experience it was !....hats off to baba who always reminds us of all the good things and always protects us. I pray baba that Sasikala should get all the happiness in the life and should be happy always. May sai baba shower her with all the happiness.

Hello everyone!
I am sai devotee since i was a small girl. My family members are too. We are having a lots of miracle which is only b'coz of Sai Baba. I will keep writting to this blog.
Here i m going to tell you a very recent experience, which are as below----
Me & my family was planning to visit Shirdi in April but it was postponed only due to my sister's exam. Then we planned & booked our ticket in May'08 month, it was a surprise that suddenly the exam date was announced to start on that day which was our returning date from Shirdi. All of us was very upset & did a lots of pray for the postponed the exam date any how. But we hd cancelled our trip. From this i was very upset & disturb But i think only due to that I found this blog where i read a lots of experience of the Sai devotee's. I felt good & from that day i am a regular reader. After read a lot i make a promise to Sai baba that if i will visit in June'08 then i will also put my experience n share to everyone. Believe me we got the tickets but 3day's before of our journey to Shirdi my brother got an accedient & hd a fracture in his hand. It was a big shock to all of us b'coz the accedent was just one day before of his last paper exam.I went to my home, actually i am living in Delhi & my parents are living in Bokaro, & i made the dicission that will go at any cost. If it a exam time ( Exam taken frm Baba) then will hav to pass. we tried to settle another student who was a very good frnd of my brother. And he agreed. every thing was passing as ok but at the night when my father came from office he declared that no anyone will sit on the behalf of my brother in the exam. Only my brother hav to appeared b'coz he hd a vission that my brother will get pass mark only if he will sit in exam. And the condition of my brother's hand was really bad.And my father advised us that except my father & brother all of us will go as per scheduled & both of them will came after2 day's. We did the same. And they joined us on the thursday. And enjoyed the Palki Utsav.Believe me our journey was good & we got the hotel room at very reasonable rates. It was a miracle for us.
Everything was funtastic.

Charu - India  Hi Everyone!!

There was something bothering me since two weeks. I used to cry infront of baba to help me regarding this. There is this site through which you can talk to baba and ask questions. The answer to my question was" Shree Sai baba expects your devotion, remember him. As soon as you donate food you will get mental peace and your desired work will be completed".

Reading this I though i should abide by the message of baba. So today morning we me and my mom went to give food to the Kod ashram. I was thinking all through the way that Sai should give me some indication that he is with me and is listening to me. You all would not believe the kod ashram turned out to be "Shri Sai Kod ashram" and had a mandir of Sai. I just could not contain my smiles at that point in time. All through the way of returning back I kept seeing Sai somewhere or the other, posters, name, idol etc. Strange are the ways of Sai.

Though what i have been longing for has not come true yet, but i am positive that Sai kripa is on me and it would surely happen with his grace. Will write more once this happens.

I would like to share one of my experiences that i had with sai baba this morning.For the past 2 months i was looking for a day care for my little daughter.And all the day cares are full and my daughter's name is on the wait list.My mother is leaving in another 2 weeks.After that i have no help tp take of my daughter as i am working.yesterday ,being thursday i thought i 'll call the day care that is nearest to my work place.When i called them,there was no one to attend that call and so i left them a message saying that i really really need their help and see to it for 1 vacancy.Yesterday i forgot to leave them a call back number.Today being Friday ,i called them again and and again i had to leave a message for them as the person is not at her seat.But i left my number.Then that lady called me and asked how old is my daughter and when was the application submitted and all other details and told me that she will check for me and give me a call back.She also mentioned that she received my yesterday's message but since i did not leave her a call back number,she could not contact me..I was praying to baba many days to help me in this matter to find a vacancy for my little one at the day care.I was praying to baba that the lady should call me again with a positive response.And yes,She called me 10 minutes after and said there is a vacancy on sept 8 and i can bring my daughter in.I also wanted to tell you all that my mother is leaving to India exactly on Sept 7 th.And from sept 8 th my daughter can go to day care.
This is really a miracle done by baba..Thank you very much baba.Please keep showering your blessings to all the needful in the world.Koti pranaams you baba.Please help me in solving my family problem also very soon and i 'll post that experience also in this website

ms - atlanta,georgia, US  hi i want to share my experience.We (my dad,mom,sister) are devotees of saibaba since somany years. Now i am married and came to atlanta 4months ago. Our family(dad,mom,sister) use to go to shiridi once in a year. When i am in degree as usual we planned to go to shiridi the train is at 6pm from secunderabad and we stays in tarnaka. We had started from our house at 5pm and when we are about to approache the railway station suddenly i remembered that we forgot the money and credit cards at my house.I told my parents about that. It was already 5.30pm.Again we all went back to our house and took that money and cards and we went to station. When we reached the railway station it was exactly 6pm. We thought that we will miss the train but by baba's grace it was miraculous the train started when we all just stepped into the train. Really it was babas greatness. And without baba call we cannot go to shiridi at all though we try and think about the trip. Because it happened to us many times so i am telling this. I kept my wedding first card near baba sanidi and done pooja also.

Puttaparthi saibaba is the next avatar of shiridi saibaba so we believe him also i will share one of my experience with you about him also.
Some one told us that see swamy(puttaparthi sai baba)once. Then we planned to go in May month they told he is in bangalore.so we (my dad,mom,sister) have planned to go to bangalore and south trip. But there swamy is not there. My dad told me if you are lucky then you will get swamy darshan. As usual according to our trip from bangalore we went to mysore, ooty,connur and kodaikanal.
In kodaikanal it was the first time we have seen him we are lucky to have swamy darshan very very near. That time i was not married so i prayed him for my marriage. There swamy devotees are distributing prasadam my family memebrers all got prasadam expect me. Some one gave 2 prasadams forcefully to my dad. I was dissapointed as i didnot get prasadam. But when i came outside they were distributing someting i thought it was prasadam and gone and took one packet but one foreigner qurrelled with me and took from me. But immediately someone pulled my hand and gave 2 packects and that foreigner told sorry and gave that packect to me. Totall i got 3 packects. When i opened it was not prasadams there are haldi thread(pasupu kommu) which will be tired in marriage with madhura meenakshi photo and kumkum. I didnot understand. Later after 6months we got chance to go to puttaparthi there i got 2 prasadam packets. With in less than a year my marriage was settled then i understood why i got that haldi thread (it was 3 knots which are tried at the time of marriage). And my sister got a medical seat in United States. Last May month i have seen swamy first time and with in an year i came to US with my husband that is the miracle of swamy.
After my marriage was settled i took the first card to puttaparthi near swamy for blessing. He has seen my wedding card and blessed me.

baba and his experiences with REall of us cannot be described in words but still i am trying to share with all my friends.almost four yrs back me nd my husband went to shiridi to take SAI BABAS BLESSINGS nd to ask for a child.WE HAD COMPLETED THREE YRS OF OUR MARRIAGE BUT HAD NO CHILD ND NO STANDING IN THE SOCIETY.YOU WILL ALL BE SHOCKED THAT I WENT TO BABA IN DEC2004 ND I HAD MY OWN HOUSE IN FEB204 ND THE DAY I ENTER ED MY HOUSE WE H.AD SAI ABHISHEK ND SAI PUJAN ND I THE EVENING I C AME TO KNOW THAT WE WERE HAVING A BABY.THIS WAHE BIGGEST SHOCK OF MY LIFE WE .TODAY WE R SETTELED IN LONDON.MY HUSBAND HAS GOOD JOB.LIFES GOOD COZ WE HAVE BABA WITH US .I THINK WE R ALL LUCKY THAT WE CAME TO KNOW ABOUT BABA IN THIS LIFE ND MAY WE SHALL LOVE BABA TILL OUR LAST BREATH

i want to share my experience with others . i m a devotee of baba.my sister's brother in law met with an accident his condition was very serious.docters lost all hopes I and my husband prey to sai baba for his good health we were very upset .next day a mirracle happen his health was improved all were surprised to see this even docters also he is improving now and is out of danoger now this is just because of baba as he is always with us when ever we need his help he is there for us thanks a lot sai we will always love u .now there is some problem in my life please pray to baba for me to solve that problem.Then again i will share my experience with all devotees.

I was laid off from my company on Feb 10, 2006.
I could get job in consulting division of the same company, and joined it on April 20, 2006, but it needed extensive travelling. I prayed to Shree Swami Samarth (BABA and HIM are one and the same form of the Supreme Parabrahma, as per Shree Sai Satcharitra), that if I travel, it would be very difficult to perform worship. Amazingly, by mid-May 2006, the same manager, under whom I was laid off, called me and I transferred to the same group and with the same job title!!!

deepu - us (Florida)  I am a sai devotee and want to share my experience with you. couple of days back i came to know that our team is going to be removed from the owned company. i came to know the news by other team manager and i surprised. because i susoected that other team (who gave me information regarding my team ) willbe removing. actually that other manager asked me to change to their team as they in need of QA. Goo d thing is my hubby is also working in that team as a QA. First i took some time to tell my decision. After that i thought that it was really my dear baba gift (As i was doing fastings for every thur day since 5 - 6 years ) because that was thu day and i was in fasting. Every thu day i used to be on fasting and read Sai astotharam and Chalisa. That helps me a lot. Now four days back i attended the interview and selected inthat. Present team willbe getting removed inthis week. ALl of my colleagues feeling bad for that. but only my self is moving to the other team under the same company. Probably i will be moving to new team on this thur day. He dragged me with his own hands and dropped me in the secured area. He is the only god. I strongly believe in him and he always helps me. i know that. I can say only one thing to you to get help from Sai. That is believe sai as your mother. if you dont believe him he cannot help you. if you believe him he never leaves you.

I would like to share my experience with all the Sai devotees. In November 2004 I became pregnant and after nine weeks of pregnancy, miscarriage happened and I became devastated. At that time when I went to the doctor, she did all the tests and results came that I have thyroid problem, so I started taking thyroid medicines. Doctor also told me that upto one year it is impossible for me to become pregnant. I came home and in front of Baba I cried a lot. By Baba's blessings in March 2005, I became pregnant but I was so tensed about my pregnancy because I have thyroid problem. With Baba's blessings I delivered healthy baby boy on January 4th 2006 without any health complications and I didn't suffer much in labor time also. Because of Baba's blessing all this happened. I named my son Sai. Please Baba shower your blessings on our family and all the Sai devotees

I want to share my experience that made my husband a devotee of Shri Sai. My husband is an expert in the German language. Since the times are very demanding and we were expecting our second child, we were looking for an additional source of income. Baba made it possible for us to have that source by giving translation assignments to my husband. As a token of respect, we decided to offer 10 percent of the total extra income for charity purposes. It was indeed a matter of great surprise for both of us when we purchased blankets for the needy that the cost of the blankets was the same as we had kept aside as if Baba was telling us that He approves of our choice. For some it may be sheer coincidence but for us it was Baba's words. I pray that Sai gives his divine grace to all, there be peace and love all around. Let all the children of Sai be blessed by His grace and let there be Sai everywhere.

Saibaba's miracles in my life are endless. But one of them is as follows. My father suffered a heart attack on Thursday just a week before the birth of my daughter. At first, I was very disappointed with Baba. I thought why did Baba give this pain. I put udhi on my father's forehead and all of us prayed to Baba. But later on when my father recovered, I realized that Baba saved my father. It happened on Thursday-Saibaba's day. He did not suffer much. Before next Thursday, he was home. On Friday my daughter was born healthy with no complications since I was worried that the emotional stress I had due to my fathers ill health would affect my delivery. So my father did not have much time to feel low about his health (the after shock) neither did we, instead he survived a major crisis and was happy being grandfather
