Joining this site and reading other member's experience has given me more faith on Baba. The unsurity that was coming in is completely gone. I have complete faith on Baba and what he indicated.
I felt really good after reading your message. And now i feel that when ever because of circumstances someone is losing their faith and patience, we fellow members need to be supportive and assuring so that he gets the courage and persistence to carry on in this path of "Faith and perseverance"

How are you?.  Hope, by sai blessings, you are feeling better now.

Subhaji,  its a very nice topic.  Baba is living and helping all his devotee.  I would like to share my experience here.  By husband was sick and I was working, my contract got over with my company, that is, december 2005.  So I planned to look out for another job, but my husband health condition was really bad, he always needed someone nearby as he wasnt able to do everything by himself.  I prayed to our father and cried, what will I do baba, please help me out I said, to my surprise, after a week I got a call from a firm stating that they have a job opening, i went and attended the interview, by baba grace, interview went off very well.  But, I was in dilemma whether to accept the job or not.  I left everything to  baba, next day I got a call from the firm, stating that I got selected for the job and I can totally work from home. 

What can I say, its all his leela.  During that time, that job was very helpful.  I worked from home and took care of my husband also.  Now, by god grace, he is feeling better and back to his normal life.  Baba is really great.  He is always helping his devotee.  Not only this, he helped me in so many ways.

Baba is very loving and caring.

Sai Descends to help Devotee in Distress

Sri Sai is ever watchful. He is always with those, who constantly repeat Sai... Sai.... Sai. Not only that, He helps them. He nourishes their devotion. He takes care of their worldly needs. He becomes one with them.

 

Poor Swarna for she lost her husband at the age of 21 or so. Her only daughter, Champa, was three years then. Through somebody's help, she got employed in the Khadi Gramodyoga Bhavan and started living independently with none to help her.

 

It was somewhere in the beginning of 1996, she started coming to Sri Saipadananda Satsanga to participate in Sai Satcharitha Parayana on every Thursday morning. When she was introduced to the Satsanga, her daughter, Champa, was already 20, studying in college. Swarna's worry then was how to find a suitable boy and to conduct the marriage without anybody's help and money. She said Sri Sai was her only refuge and she was sure that parayana of Sri Sai Satcharitha would fulfill her desires. She also said she was not poor as Sai is her father. She was so strong in her faith in Baba.

 

After 2 or 3 months, she stopped coming. I wanted to know what the problem was. When some devotee took me to her small house, I was very much pained and moved to see her lying in bed due to severe pain in the back bone, which had made her unable to sit or walk. Sand bags had been tied to her legs by the Doctor. During this difficult time, some of our Satsang members were inspired to help her by Baba's Grace. After two months treatment she recovered and was able to attend the office too. She started again to come to Satsanga for reading Sai Satcharitha.

 

Baba is always aware of the needs of His devotees. It so happened that she was invited to attend a relative's marriage where she went with her daughter. When she was witnessing the marriage, an elderly couple came to her to enquire whether she would offer her daughter to their son who was working in ISRO. Swarna never expected such a surprising situation. She believed that Sri Sai only had directed the elderly couple to approach her. Then and there the boy and the girl saw each other and consented to the marriage. When Swarna explained about her health and financial conditions, the boy's father only said "Don't worry. Everything will be all right by God's Grace."

 

Now, Swarna had no money and she has to conduct the marriage. The boy's father also fixed up the marriage hall and told Swarna to take care of the expenditure with regard to food only on the marriage day. But Swarna's problem was how to raise money.

 

Lo! Baba's unseen hand worked. At that time her brothers at her native place decided to dispose of their father's house. Through this deal, Baba helped her to get a fairly good amount as her share, just enough to meet the marriage expenses.

 

Thus, Champa was married on 6.12.1996. Sri Sai will never let down those who surrender and take total refuge in Him and Him alone.

As my loved one was ranked toped in his university for his engineering degree. Although he didnt get good job at tht time... His salary was ONLY 4500 rs Per Month.. He was toooo upset.. He was searching for a good job but didnt get anty success.. like ths one year had passed.. now he was so depressed ,, as being such a intelligent buddy he is nt getiing his kind of Job.. so he told me d same.. I m Sai's true hearted Devotee.. So I told him tht I m going Shirdi.. to pray for him.. i went Shirdi to get Saibaba's blessing for him .. and after coming from Shirdi i have started 9 thursday's vrat...

ON THE VERY FIRST THURSDAY ..HE GOT HIS DREAM JOB.. AT THAT DAY HE CALLED ME.. M TOLD THS NEWS ON PHONE.. I WAS LSTARTED CRYING.. BABA U DNT KNOW WHT U HAD GIVEN TO ME..

AND WITHIN 3 MOTNHS ..HIS SALARY WAS INCREASED FROM 4500 RS PER MOTNH TO DIRECT 35000 PER MOTNH!!!!!!!!!

GREAT INCREASE..

Sai's Message To The Children

Baba once said that, although he will not be present in physical form, his bones will guide and help His people in times to come. In my opinion Baba is living up to his promise and we see that Sai’s philosophy is reaching all corners of the earth. I remember an incident from 2001 when a friend of mine who of Polish ancestry introduced me to his mother who was visiting him in USA from Venezuela and I was stunned for a moment when she greeted me with folded hands and said “Sairam”. She mentioned that she visits the Sai Center in her hometown of Caracas and has read about Baba and his teachings. It emphasized the relevance of Sai’s teachings in today’s world in inspiring people from different countries and nationalities. In today’s difficult times when there are all sorts of distractions pulling a person away from leading a path of righteous and spiritual life, it becomes essential for all devotees to read and follow Baba’s words and teachings to the best of their ability and understanding.

Baba advised people to see God in all beings and creatures, which if practiced in day to day life can make this world a better place for all beings. He said that there are many ways to reach God and one way goes through Shirdi. He meant that in today’s society, there is no reason for people to quarrel in Gods name since all ways and prayers reach the same place, hence his famous quote “Sabka Malik Aik (There is one God)”.

Baba always advised that one should use rationale and logical thinking and not blindly follow any rituals or practices just because it has been done that way for years or if it is written in some revered book. Something which was relevant and made sense in say 1800’s may or may not be applicable in the 21st century. Baba discouraged superstitions or mundane rituals. His advise was that in the age of Kali, Namah Smaran (remembering Gods name) is the best form of worship which requires no special paraphernalia or knowledge of Shastras etc and which can be done by everyone. Once a person starts chanting Baba’s name or the name of his favorite deity, it can bring inner peace, happiness and wisdom and lead a person on the path of spiritual enlightenment.

Shri Sai Satcharitra has numerous teachings and words of Baba, which are quite significant in today’s society and can help a person in performing his daily duties and can quench his thirst for knowledge, wisdom and spirituality. The best way would be to read and assimilate Baba’s teachings and try to follow them.

Is Baba Living And Helping Now? 

Shirdi Baba came in my dream and told me to spread his miracles, so I have listed a few miracles that I have personally experienced.

1) I was recently on holiday in Spain for about two weeks. I was feeling really miserable. I had a strong desire to pray to Baba in a mandir, but being in a foreign country in new surroundings I felt really distant from Baba. The next day, I was out shopping and went into shop and started talking to the owner of the shop. I suddenly noticed that he was wearing a Shirdi Baba ring and so started to talk to him about Baba. He told me about Sai Baba mandir close by and I felt really excited. I made a trip to that place the next day and could not find it, so decided to go into the hotel to ask for directions. I expected to find a reception desk with people, whom I could ask about the mandir, but instead to my surprise, I was in a beautiful hall with a huge murti of Shirdi Baba, it was so peaceful and so beautiful. There was no one else there, and I felt that I had a one to one darshaan with Shirdi Baba in a wonderful mandir, and that Baba, being omnipresent had fulfilled my desire of wanting to come and pray to Him in such a wonderful way.

2) I had been given a copy of Sai Satcharita and was told that if you read it in week with a desire in mind, it gets fulfilled. The first time I read Sai Satcharita in a saptah, i.e. one week, I had something in my mind that I wanted and I hoped that Baba would somehow bless me. I started it on Friday and completed it on Thursday. That night the most beautiful thing happened, Baba actually came in my dream and blessed me. It was amazing.

3) I had an exam for which I had done no preparation and I knew that it would not go well and was my worst subject. I tried to prepare for it the night before but ended up falling asleep. That night I got a dream where Maata Bhagwaan came and told me to read a certain page of my book. I woke up the next morning really pleased with my vision and quickly crammed that page. To my surprise, in the exam, the question was from that exact same page. It was a miracle!

I am Sai devotee since my childhood. My day starts with Sai prayers. In every distress and trouble Sai helps us always. On Sunday 3rd Sept, 2006, my Daddy suddenly started getting hiccups. He took some home medicine. The whole day he was getting hiccups continuously for 2 - 2 ½ hours. They would stop for some time and then start again for 2 - 2 ½ hours. As it was Sunday, we telephoned the doctor. He told us to give him one tablet. He took the medicine but that did not help. On Monday morning we took him to the doctor. He took the prescribed medicine, had his lunch and went to sleep. Usually he takes rest only for 2 hours, 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. That day till 4 o’clock he was fast asleep, it became 4.15 pm but there no sign of his waking up. My sister and I called Daddy, he responded but turn his side and again slept. We waited for another 15 minutes and again called him but again he changed the side and slept. We found something strange. Immediately we prepared sugar water solution as Daddy is a diabetic patient, but he refused to take it. Somehow we managed to make him to sit and tried giving water but he threw it out of his mouth. I went to call a nearby Doctor who usually comes by 5.30 pm but luckily that day he was there at 4.45 pm. The Doctor checked his diabetes on a glucometer and said it had fallen to 20 and we should rush him to the hospital. Daddy had become semi unconscious. We called up our cousin brother, who was luckily in a nearby area and reached the hospital before us. Our neighbors helped us to take Daddy to the hospital. Through the traffic jam we managed to reach the hospital. My brother had already met the doctor and kept things ready. Hospital doctors immediately put him on glucose. Within ½ hour after admission he became fully conscious and was surprised that he was in the hospital. His condition was diagnosed as pneumonia patch on his lungs, starting of jaundice, chest congestion. The pneumonia patch had touched the diaphragm, the reason for the continuous hiccups. Because of all these internal complications his sugar levels had become so low.

He was in the hospital for 8 days. Now, he is completely all right. Doctors said diabetes count of 20 is too dangerous and at a count below 30, a person cannot survive. That can even lead to some dangerous side effects. Also, his pneumonia was detected on time. Our saver Sai helped us.
When my daddy was in the hospital, one evening my younger sister was returning home from the hospital. Her leg got stuck in one pothole and she had a fall. Her ankle got twisted and she was unable to get up. She was crossing the lane. Suddenly one rickshaw stood next to her and she somehow managed to get up and get into the rickshaw. The rickshaw driver started the rickshaw without asking her anything. After some time she told him where to take her. She had fractured her leg. After putting plaster on her leg for 1 ½ month, she is okay now. From where did the rickshaw arrive right on time? Who else other than Sai can send help.

By the grace of Baba, both my sister and daddy are fine now.

                 Reading the articles on this site has given me great confidence and faith in baba.For a person who  was never religious until a couple of months back..the transformation seems enjoyable and healthy.Right from day one there are numerous things that happen to me confirming our guru's power .
                Iam still busy readind all the previous articles posted when i was a non-member.Its so overwhelming to see the active participation of few members
like you,ravi bhai,keerthiji ...this inspires us to pen a few lines ocassionally.
I find answers to all my doubts in this site...Iam happy to inform that i have planned our first shirdi visit on 15october and that i have started my nine week vrat today.
              undoubtedly being a part of this family makes a person a better human being...sai ram
