Just want to share a real life miracle that happened with me recently. My Green card was applied for more than 4 years in EB2 category. My priority date recently opened up and I received my EAD within 2 months. It then took a bad turn and suddenly they announced retrogression as they received a lot of applications (for folks even nearly 2 years after my priority date) so they retrogressed the actual issuing of GC for everybody by good 6 months to 1-2 years. Just before the retrogression was announced I got a RFE (Request for Evidence) which delayed by GC by atleast one month and I also got impacted by retrogression. I was cursing my luck and praying to Baba for a miracle as mine was a genuine case that should have been cleared had there not been no RFE. The RFE itself was very basic and was my hard luck that it was issued.
We are also devotee of Mata so we kept on praying to Baba and Mata and the miracle just happened on the next Thursday morning as at around 6 am I received the text from USCIS website (you can enroll for case updates) that my card has been sent out to me. This was definitely a miracle. Looks like some of the cases get pre-adjudicated when RFEs are sent out (based on severety of the RFE) but is very subjectively dependent on the officer handling the case. If your case is pre-adjudicated then the reserve a visa number for you in case your RFE response is satisfactory. This percentage of pre-adjudication is very small and have seen most of the folks with RFEs that got impacted in retrogression still in same pending state. This was true miracle of God and I am forever thankful to Shirdi Sai Baba and Mata.
My faith in Sai Baba has increased manyfold after this happy incidence. Am posting as had promised baba that will do so if the miracle happens as would like to share Baba's leelas with everybody.
