Sai Ram
My dear ones, let me give you a brief report on the event with Sri Sai Kaleshwara in Hanau (near Frankfurt) yesterday.
Where should I start? Okay, let's try with the beginning [

]
On this warm and sunny colourful atumn sunday, bathed in that unique golden light only the autumn sun can give, more than 1000 people came together in that Hanau Congress Center to sing Bhajans, listen to Sri Sai Kaleshwar's talk, ask him questions and meditate together. The atmosphere was extremely loving and kind. People from all walks of life and of any age from baby to old age, from perfectly healthy to severly disabled had come.
The event started with a short video on who Sri Kaleshwar is and the singing of Bhajans. It was my first time ever of singing Bhajans in a group when everybody sang them to SAI. Simply being a drop in an ocean of devotion was such a wonderful and elating experience. I closed my eyes and a meditative state - how should I say? - came over me, there hadn't been any intention, it simply happened. I began to feel a presence and as I was still trying to find out who it was, I suddenly knew: It was you, my dearest brothers and sisters. It really felt like you were all around me and we were there together singing these bhajans and ready to listen to the talk and experience whatever was to happen.
Although you are alwys in my heart and I had made a list with your names and kept them by SAI's picture in my German SSC I had on my knees, I would never have expected something as clear and nearly tangible as that to happen. I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude and had tears in my eyes.

]Thank you for being there with me, my dear ones! [

Next was Sri Kaleshwar's talk. A great part of it was dedicated to SAI and he is really such a great devotee of his. He spoke abot events from SAI's life, about devotion and gratitude, about faith and patience and about miracles as a means of teaching. He also spoke about the five elements and of his goal to make his students greater than he (Kaleshwar) is. He made a few of his students talk about their own experiences briefly and mentioned some things that are going on in his ashram in Penukonda. I don't want to go into much detail because his talks can vary, and what he said yesterday in Germany may differ from what he'll say tomorrow in the US.
Noteworthy is the way he talks: It's just like you and me were sitting together and telling each other what we did yesterday, very casual, very down to earth -- while the real conversation takes place underneath the words.
This became especially clear in the Q & A section as I may call it repectlessly. There was a moving moment, when a lady said, it may be asking too much, but she'd beg him to give a personal haeling to her sister who is suffering from a severe mental illness since seven years. The lady burst into tears while speaking. Sri Kaleshwar asked of the sister's picture - and at that moment you knew that the sister will be taken care of. Others asked of personal mantras, so he explained the meaning and importance of personal mantras and also the way they could get them from him (very easy, could be done right after the talk - he never made a fuss out of anything he does). Another lady reported that whenever she sees him, thinks of him or hears him talk it's like an big wound breaking open inside of her. All he said was "Don't worry", repeating it several times in a very tender voice. This was the moment when it became crystal clear and one could feel intensely, that the words "Don't worry" were simply vehicles of some work he started on her on the inner planes right the very moment she had told him about her experience, relieving her of those pains.
It may be important to note here that he never says that "he" is doing something, he speaks of Shirdi Sai and the Guruparampara (the Guru lineage) and encourages everyone to tap into that energy. He even stressed that he never cares how much faith anyone who comes to him has in him.
Others asked for help with illnesses and advice concerning things they are striving for, which they got, and one person wanted to be given a spiritual name by him. After a moment's thought he gave her 'Swati' and translated it by 'an ever sparkling star'. The lady was moved and so was everyone in the crowd.
The talk was followed by some more bhajans, sung with even more devotion than before. And the event ended with a group meditation. It wasn't more than 10 minutes and all Sri Kaleshwar said about it was: "You will experience a raise in energy levels". But what a raise! I have no words to describe the strength and the beauty of the energy that you are bathed in during this meditation. It comes at the moment when you least expect it and it is simply unique, incomparable, undescribable.
In the course of this meditation it felt as though SAI was walking through the rows, subtly touching each and every one in ways that suited him or her individually and towards the end I felt the floor vibrating from behind me.
Two things that made me feel so blessed had to do with the fact that opportunities to attend events devoted to Shirdi Sai are so rare over here:
The bliss you feel when walking into a hall and the first thing you see is a beautiful picture of SAI projected onto a huge screen ...
And when the official event was over the chance to walk up to the stage and for the first time in my life see a statue of SAI and take its Darshan. There are simply no words but only this indescribable feeling in my heart and soul and tears in my eyes.
THANK YOU, SAI, FROM THE DEPTHS OF ALL I AM THAT YOU TOOK ME THERENeedless to say that they travelling itself went as smooth and pleasant as can be ...
Sri Sai Kaleshwara is coming to the US; he'll be in San Francisco, tomorrow, 15th and in Denver Wednesday 16th, in Maui December, 1st, in Los Angeles December, 3rd and in Denver again December, 4th. You'll find any information you need on his webiste
www.kaleshwar.org and to those of you, my dear brothers and sisters, who live in the US and can make it to any of the places I'd really recommend to attend (if you are interested, that is.)
