I volunteer at Saibaba temple near my home. Today, as there were not many devotees, i sat down in front of Baba for sometime. A rose on Baba's lap caught my eye and i focused the on the rose and prayed for the two wishes which I need desperately to happen in my life. I was hoping the rose would fall. At the same time, a lady came and she started to do chamar seva to Baba, coincidently when she was doing the rose fell and she said asked can I take this as it fell when i was doing the seva. It was on the tip of my tounge to say no and to tell her that i was praying for that rose to fall. I said sure with my sweetest smile with a tear in my heart. I was feeling really sad. 10 minutes later another elderly man who frequents the temple was around. He came to me and told, there are so many roses near Baba's legs both near the main murthi and chavadi murthy, it would be good if i removed it, as the other devotees who would want to offer flowers to baba. I said ok, grabbed a plate and went to collect the flowers. At that moment it hit me that I was so sad that I did not get one rose that I was desperately praying for and now Baba has give me the opportunity to pick a plate full of flowers and more of my choice. I do not know what to understand by this, but the only thing I understood was he gave me in plenty, more than what i could have ever wanted. Jai Sai Ram.
