Another experience of mine..need some clarifications..please

Firstly my humble prostrations to sai and my love for him.I am giving my another experience with sai and please i need some clarifications on this.

I had been to a clairvoyant 4 years back.She wud predict the future by just looking at ones face and she does by sai's grace.I enquired about my brother that time and she replied that he will do good and sometime when my mother was carrying her , mothers close relative wud have died and whatever that relative wanted to do will now be done by my brother in his lifetime and he has the blessings of that relative.

I never thot this would be true.But the same day I called my mom and she said that my moms grandfather died when she was carrying my brother.I was very happy to hear this.Then that clairvoyant told me that my mother had vowed to goddess samayapuram mariamman (near trichy - shes one powerful form of durga) that she will offer a saree but completely forgot this.

She got the vision of that goddess when she was thinking abt me and told me if i was from trichy and also asked me to fulfill this vow.She also added that she never knew abt this temple and  this is d first time goddess came to her vision.

She gave me a ling which came from baba and told me i wud get into some trouble and meet with an accident in another 8 months.But nothin happened that way.she warned me not to drive.mAY BE sai was there with me and protecting me because i was to come to US for my higher studies.

Was that accident reverted because of sais grace or was this all a made up story.I am sorry to say this.I still love Sai and always respect and pray him daily but im in doubts.I want few clarifications on this and please if atleast one could tell me what to do i will be happy and mind will be relaxed.

Dear Sudarsanraviji Sairam

Your post is timely. Only yesterday I was discussing the astrology, belief and faith in Lord Sai. It struck me that astrology is accurate as to telling the past. But the future is still an elusive one.
Not many can really predict that. Reasons are many.

Let me quote your sentence from above "Was that accident reverted because of sais grace or was this all a made up story.I am sorry to say this.I still love Sai and always respect and pray him daily but im in doubts.I want few clarifications on this and please if atleast one could tell me what to do i will be happy and mind will be relaxed."

This sentence implies that you are able to believe in the clairvoyant and then wonder if the Lord has averted the accident.  Why could not the clairvoyant be wrong ? Where is the room for doubts on our Lord ? He never predicted this to you. There are instances where he predicted and then protected. The SSC is full of such instances. Therefore, he has warned against astrology. Human mind is queer and fickle. Your doubts have started because of your belief in astrology (or clarvoyance).

One thing is for certain. Our past and our future is based on our Karma from the past birth and also our actions in this present birth. Therefore, if a really renowned astrologer predicts our future and the same does not happen, it will be because of our actions in the meantime. For eg. if an astrologer predicts a big jackpot in an year's time and meanwhile we make debts etc and trouble the money lenders by not repaying then our fate is destined to change because of this bad action, and the jackpot might not come through. Then who can be blamed: The Lord Sai, the astrologer or ourselves. As the order is mentioned, we always look into ourselves last when blaming and first at the Lord. We say that the lord is testing us, lord is troubling us little realizing our own actions are the cause. I have found cases where astrologers predict short period futures but not long ones effectively. The long ones get affected by our actions, I think.

So the best recourse is to place implicit faith in our Lord, not dilute it by putting faith in astrology and control our future by repenting our past actions and trying to be righteous now.

Dear all, this is my opinion not an argument. Please offer your ideas. I donot have anything against the astrologers out there.

dear sureshsaratji , thanks for your great reply.I certainly did not doubt sai...not even a iota of doubt lies in my heart about sai..i was worried as to why sai first had to take me to the astrologer and why did the astrologer claimed that i would hurt myslef and this she said it was thorough sais grace and why the same didnot even happen.

I was wondering now and I never knew that our present deeds can change our destiny.I am sorry for asking this again, but do u say that by our good deeds we can change our destiny?...

but atleast my mind is put to rest in this case and i shall pray to sai for you.

Dear Sudarshanraviji Sairam

First of all, I am not an authority in spirituality. I have been trying to understand the same. This is MY opinion that our present actions do influence our course of life. Look at it practically also or otherwise. You will get the answer.

As to our Lord Sai guiding us and leading us "i was worried as to why sai first had to take me to the astrologer ", this is the most tricky part. Our Lord himself has said that we should not take the feeling of doership our actions, good or bad.  But have we really made total surrender of ourselves to him, accepted him to influence our course of actions etc. This I really doubt. In this mundane world, unlearning the feeling of "I" is really a difficult one. Unlike the animals which are totally controlled by the lord because of their lack of wisdom, we are different. Our intelligence takes precedence our the control our Lord. We go the other way many times. And the Lord does not interfere. And that is where we sow the seeds for Karmic results.

But my opinion is that our actions definitely set course to the future.

As we knew Baba was and is always against to astrology.  If we really really believe baba, then we should keep our orthodoxy aside and forget about our future. Our future is baba. When we believe baba whole heartedly and if we do something wrong, baba teaches us our lesson and if we question him he gives us the explanation so do you think all these incidents are there in our future. If our lord wills, he can change our planets. As suresh bhai said everything is based upon our karma. Nothing will happen unless god wills; you have been to the astrologer upon our lords will. Baba might have used that astrologer as a source to make you worship him. I also went to an astrologer 4 years back, it was then when I started worshipping baba whole heartedly. I just took her words to worship baba as an upadesh and forgot about the remaining things which she told and no wonder, nothing she predicted really happened.  My opinion is that we should continue our firm faith on baba and forget about astrology and all that stuff. If our wish fulfills us then it’s a blessing from our deva and if not, baba has a better plan for us and definitely one or the other way he will let us know why it didn’t happen. Om sai ram.
