SAI DATTA helped Me as a Shepherd
My entire life is a blessing of BABA as He twice revived me of from very severe
health condition during 2011 and in 2014 . Would share later the whole experience
and as well as my spiritual journey which is quiet long and interesting.
There are innumerable experiences of BABA's grace on me but I want to start off
with this very recent experience of mine.
It happened on Saturday 6th December 2014 i.e on the day of Datta Jayanti.
I Just recently moved into this new apartment which is 5 storyed building and
I live on the 3rd floor.
There are only three families living in the building yet since it is a new colony and
new building. I also happen to live alone.
On this day after returning home from a longgg morning walk, I was carrying out
my routine activities at home and my main door I usually keep locked as I am alone at home.
Since it was Datta Jayanti Day, my plan was to do the parayan of Guru Charitra and
to complete it by the end of the day, though it was little difficult.
So, prepared kheer and sooji ka halwa as prasad for Shree Datta for my morning pooja
and later while double checking whether everything is ready to start my pooja and the parayan,
I felt like I heard someone knocking the door since my doorbell was not working.
I opened the main door and there was no one outside. While closing the door, as a second
thought I kept the main door open as I remembered that while performing pooja one should
keep the main door open and also I love the morning cool breeze.
Thereafter started my pooja, offered prasad and completed the first 7 chapters of Gurucharitra
around 11.30 a.m.
So, thought of taking break for 10-15 minutes and all of sudden i remembered that in the
morning, I had put clothes in the washing machine so went in the balcony to dry them and
to my shock I noticed that the balcony's sliding glass door got shut. When I tried to open the
door I realised that I had gotten locked in the balcony.
My first reaction was obviously fear and helplessness since there wasn't anybody in the
house and I also didn't have my cell phone with me. The main unfortunate thing is from
the balcony side I could only see huge jungle and behind our compound wall faaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr
away another building, where my voice won't reach.
Since my building situated far from the main gate and at the end of the entire colony there
was no chance of even expect somebody around my building.
I remembered BABA and calmed down and then I realised that luckily my main door was
open which of course, i was unable to see due to the curtains on the balcony's glass door,
but, felt relaxed that if I succeed to reach out somebody for help, they could come inside
the house from the main door and easily to get me out.
After some half an hour, patiently waiting and chanting BABA's name for help and with
the grace of BABA, I saw one aged man belong to shepherd community, roaming with few
goats in the jungle area behind our compound wall and I called out for help.
Being on the 3rd floor and very far from the compound wall, I couldn't be heard well but
when i tried to explain him with signs he got an idea that I was stuck. After 30 minutes
he came upstairs with the security guard of our main gate and they opened the sliding
glass door as per my instructions and got me out.
I wholeheartedly thank BABA for helping me out . It's nothing short of a miracle that i heard
someone knocking and kept the main door open.
While thanking the aged shepherd for his kind help, offered him and the security person,
the prasad prepared for Lord Shree Datta and gave the entire prasad to the security person
to distribute among others at the main gate. and thereafter continued my Gurucharitra Parayan
and completed it around 11.30 p.m. with aarti to Shree Sai Gurudev Datta.
Here, I would like to share one more thing which later I realised that, I have moved to this
new apartment in mid October, though there are few & very poor tribal family at the main
gate side of our colony's boundary wall, who work at the construction areas but never seen
any shepherd in traditional clothes as nowadays no one wears such traditional cloths and
the one who helped me was in a brand new, pure white traditional clothes
and after this
incident
never seen him again around our colony
Its BABA, yes BABA................. came to help me as shepherd
BABA has always been with me.
It just takes Shraddha and Saburi on our part.
Love you BABA!
Thank you BABA!
May Baba bless all with His divine love and kindness.
