Vaibhav Lakshmi Pooja

Even i want to do VAIBHAV LAKSHMI POOJA.But as per the ritual i am supposed to distribute the books to 7 ladies.I am new to the place where i am staying.I donot know any body.Somebody told me to distribute in the temple but i am not comfortable with the idea.So is it ok to distribute soft copy of the book in this forum.Is it ok if i do this i mean can i ditribute soft copies on the net instead of distributing books personally.Kindly SAI Devotees throw some light if you have any idea about this pooja.

It is a very nice that to do this Pooja.

Most of the ladies who came to my house on the day of Udyapana were unknown to me and they too never knew me. I have told one or two ladies known to me (whom I had seen / met in temple once twice ) and they told their known sources and so on.. otherwise, how could I manage to get a total of 42 ?

This is an oppurtunity for you to get to know. Just pass on the news to the lady next to your house or some one at work place, Baba will do the rest. Incase, all the other avenues are exhausted, you can resort to the mode of mailing the books.

Dear kavitha didi,

I have one clarification, how many weeks are we supposed to perform the vaibhav lakshmi pooja. Can we perform it for only one week. The reason for asking this que is, one of my cousins have performed the vaibhav lakshmi pooja today and they have called us for the ceremony, then i thought whether we can perform it for one week or not. please clarify....

You can do Vaibhava Lakshmi Vratam on Friday.

You can do this for 8 weeks and then do Udyapan.

You can buy the Vaibhava Lakshmi Vrat book and do the Puja.

As Subha ji has mentioned, Vaibhav Lakshmi Pooja is done on Fridays.

I wish to add the following on this Pooja:

1. This pooja has to be done only in the evenings on Fridays starting at 6.00 pm and should be finished before 9.00 pm.

2. In  some places, it is done on Thursdays evenings I/O Fridays

3. The pooja can be done for 4, 8, 11 and 21 weeks

4. The Udyapan is done on the last Friday ( in case of those doing on Thursdays should do the udyapan on the subsequent Friday - mostly people in coastal Andhra eg. vizag are doing this becoz Thursday is called as Lakshmi var).
