It was in 1995 that I felt that Baba is asking me to come to Shirdi and tie Rakhi on Raksha Bandhan. My husband was unable to come with me due to office work, so I decided to go along with my younger son and booked the Railway tickets. At Shirdi, we were provided VIP accommodation at the Prasadalay. I tied Rakhi to Baba. Baba also wore the dress, which we took for Him from Delhi. Most of the time we stayed either at the Samadhi Temple or at the Dwarka Mai. We enjoyed our stay at Shirdi. We remained in Shirdi for 3 days. When we came back to Delhi, I was much disturbed due to my domestic problem. I prayed repeatedly to Baba for His help to solve the problem and then came the Ganesh Chaturthi. Udi started coming from the glass photo of Baba. It was 5-6 spoonful of Udi. The message from Baba was clear 'Nothing to worry when He is there and He has come'. Udi was coming daily. After 2-3 days, we started all the Artees of Baba. Udi was being taken by many devotees as Prasad. At night we used to collect the remaining Udi, cleared the mandir and made the Baba sleep by switching off the lights, Electric diya (lamp) and taking out the oil diya, and finally putting the curtains. It was the atmosphere of the temple. Many devotees came for Darshan of Baba and seeking His blessings. As it was homely atmosphere each devotee spends a considerable amount of time before Baba and had full satisfaction. This phenomenon went on until Ganesh Visarjan. On that day, we saw few water drops coming from the photo and they fell on the Udi and Udi gradually disappeared. During this period daily many devotees had the blessing of Baba. One devotee was from Russia who was having a brain tumor. She got her MRI done and surgery was advised to her. She prayed repeatedly to Baba that she does not want to die. She has small kids. She wept before Baba. Her brother is a Doctor. Her MRI was done at All India Medical Institute and by the grace of Baba, her MRI was clear this time and no surgery was required. She thanked Baba again & again. One devotee was having a paralytic problem of his hand and he was unable to move his hand. He requested for Udi and asked that the remaining oil of the diya be rubbed on his hand and shoulder and Udi be applied. Next day he telephoned that, there is much improvement to his hand. Such are the miracles of Baba. In this holy atmosphere, I was so involved that I forgot my problem and I found that it has been solved

  I am a devotee of baba in india I used to love to pray to lord shiva and shirdi sai, I was always  happy. I live in US now, I have lots of domestic problems,I am not doing the puja and meditation the way in which I used to do before 10yrs.PLEASE HELP ME I would like to start every thing again how should I do puja to baba and lord shiva? .I am a doctor,so time is a problem for me.From october I am trying to start a job where I can work only 4 days.Hopefully I can concentrate more on spirituall activities by babas grace.Please pray for me to concentrate and perform baba and lord shiva puja with happy mind.

Again Thursday (16th June 2005 ) was usual with the formation of the words and character ‘Om’ ‘Ram‘ ‘Sham’ with Udi on 2 photos of Baba, Udi started coming and falling/dropping from other photos/Statue since Wednesday the15th June morning as soon as Mrs Gupta started the pooja. Mrs Gupta does not clean the Udi on Wednesday, as she feels His presence in the house. She simply makes Him sleep in the night. Filling the Lap of Mrs Gupta with Udi at the time of the group Pooja, Sai Amrit Vani and Sai Satcharitra. Sprinkling of Udi on the packets containing ‘Burfee’, ‘Rasbhari’ and ‘Samosa’ and on the Ladoos of Basan. Finding a piece of Ladoo/Burfee on the lips of Baba in 2 photos and a small piece of it also on the lips of Baba’s statue. A Banana near Baba was found peeled off from the top and eaten. It is not possible to express the feelings of devotees felt at such times.

On their request, following Sai devotees were included and they participated ( in Absencia) in the Sri Sai Amrit Vani and prayers held on 16th June ’05 by Mrs Gupta, for their prayers. Devotees are requested to give the names along with place, for prayers of only those devotees, who will recite/read or listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on Thursday. Any how all devotees are prayed for.

Devotees participating in Sri Sai Amrit Vani on Thursdays, in absencia are requested to pray for themselves also and recite/read or listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their place, This activity of Sri Sai Amrit Vani will be in Addition to any other pooja or sewa that you are doing.

Om sairam padmaji,
                  I don't much about prayer and meditation but i can give you little advice with baba's grace.You can start of the week by keeping monday fast.Just light a diya in ur house near sai photo everyday and meditatae for atleaset five minutes. whenever u can remember him whenever you get time start reading good books like sai satcharitra or gurucharitra.By the way iam also in us which state are u in?iam in south carolina.hope this helps.

    Thanks for your advice.I am reading your advice today on monday as my weekend was very busy.I live in houston.I am going to call Mrs.veenaji for her advice.Because in India I use to feel babas presence here in US I feel all alone.Aparnaji I am doing meditation  but not regularly(I guess the problem with me is I have not yet met a guru who can guide me and teach me correct tecnique).I have been asking baba for a guru in physical form. I donot know why he is not responding for that and for my domestic problems.He has been answering to my all other prayers no matter what I ask for.I have a question and answer book of baba when ever I ask for answer for my problems the only answer I got is I should do meditation till I get realisation then I can understand every thing.(I know that it is impossible for me.).I got the same answer more than 10 times when I asked for same question at different times.it is hard to understand baba.

Padma, my dear, BABA's not hard to understand, just take Him literaly, word for word and believe everything He says. []
Why learn from someone else when BABA's there to teach you in person? And if BABA says, realisation is possible for you, why not believe Him?

If BABA says you can, this means YOU CAN [][][]

He knows us so much better than we know ourselves, so even if you do not trust yourself, TRUST HIM and go and meditate []

And hey, you are not alone, we are right here with you, and most of all: BABA is! []

First of all Padma dear welcome to BABA SAI's Blessed Forum.....Since you have given more than idea about you in the the above post, I also join in......You said due to lots of domestic problme you are not doing puja and meditation you used to 10 years back. After going through your post I can only say that you have not understood MY BABA SAI in right perspective.....BABA SAI does'nt prescribe any ritulastic pooja rather he was against any rituals......moreover any of fastings.......HIS is the simplest form of Bhakti........You will not find any eastiest of BHAKTI than BABA SAI's........Just practice Shardha and Saburi......It is upto us to make this simpliest of two *S S* into most of the  difficult....You again said that you use to feel BABA SAI's presence in India and in US you feel alone.......Ask Astrid how she feel about BABA SAI in Germany? And last but not the least Padma dear first you trust yourself and find yourself and start doing what you used to do 10 years back......You said you got the same answer 10 times from BABA SAI and still you are saying it is difficult to understand BABA SAI.......we are all here with you for you to guide you.... and feel free to come regularly to the forum....

Welcome to this wonderful mandir of Sai Padma ji. What Ramesh bhai has said is true.......you should know yourself.......if you know yourself means you know Our Sai b'coz He resides in you.......You have an intention to pray so you can ........ just sit in front of Sai don't talk about your problems b'coz talks about problems would go on and on .........just look into His eyes and say "Sai, I Love You more than anything"....."anything" here means a lot , any problems, any wish, any desire, a lot more that is restricted to this world alone.......Sai should be more than anything for you....... then love towards Him starts in your heart..... that Love gives you all the Happiness and you don't want anything else.......... then your problem looks so small that you don't care much........ you won't occupy your mind with thoughts about your problem but you will occupy your mind to know our Sai.......

Try it out ....... i am doing the same.......this is how i pray to my Beloved Sai.....

                  Thursday the 18th August  2005 was the last Thursday of the Srawan month.  Leelas of Baba were strange. Since Wednesday the 17th Udi Started coming and falling from almost all the photos and Statues of Baba kept in the house.    The words and  character  ‘Om’ ‘Ram‘ ‘Sham’ were formed on the big photo on the wall and the main photo in the mandir. On Thursday, just before the Sri Sai Amrit Vani honey started coming from one big photo. It is the same photo from which honey came in the months of Dec  ‘04 and Jan ’05. Earlier Udi was dropping from this photo then the honey started coming. Many people collected the honey on their fingers as it was dropping (before the start of the Sri Sai Amrit Vani) A tray was placed below it and honey was collected in it. It was about 8-9 spoonful and many people took it home in the spoons also. All the 60-70 devotees present there had the taste of the honey.   Lap of Mrs Gupta was filled with Udi at the time of the group Pooja, Sai Amrit Vani and Sai Satcharitra. Mrs Gupta read the 108 points of Sai Satcharitra. This time a piece of Ladoo was found at the feet of Baba’s Statue and on the lips of one photo but the pieces of burfee were found on the lips of Shiv Ji, Maa Durga, Sri Ram Ji, Hanuman Ji. And many other photos of Baba. In the prasad also many pieces of Ladoo and Burfee were found cut and sprinkled with Udi. At night all was cleaned before Baba slept.

               Again on Rakhi day there was Udi from the photo and the Statue of Baba and there was a Swastic formed with Udi on the photo. (Mrs Gupta ties a Rakhi to Baba every year)

               On their request,  following Sai devotees were included  and they participated ( in Absencia) in the Sri Sai Amrit Vani and prayers by Mrs Gupta,  for their  prayers. Devotees are requested to P L E A S E,   give the names along with place, for prayers of only those devotees, ---------------- who will recite/read or at least listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on Thursday-----------. Any how all  Sai devotees are prayed for. Sorry if some names are missing, because of computer problem. May Baba bless us all.  The keyboard of my Laptop was not working and could not attend to letters, Now I have got a new Laptop from Atlanta and will write the experience of our Shirdi trip shortly.

I am waiting to hear about the news from Shirdi.

I had a very nice dream last night, that involved me and my family.
Dreamt that myself and family were walking home near the hills, then
people running all over. They were saying tsunami is happening, and
I saw water so high coming towards us, then I shouted Baba please
protect us, and true enough, we were saved. Then after the tsunami
the whole place in mess, but thanked Baba that he protected us.
 I am praying by December this year, I will get a chance to go to
Shirdi again with my family.

Thanks a million for your prayers. Indeed your prayers answered and i got the salary offer letter from the employer. This is definitely a miracle and came true with your prayers and baba's blessings.
 
I had problems with my passport renewal and now it seems resolved that too. I'm sure if baba wouldn't want us to get this offer, he wouldn't have brought this opportunity to me.
 
I'm really really thank you for what ever you did during the thursday pooja. Please continue prayers for next week for my successful career ahead with the new employer.
