For all doubting God...

  • WHAT HAPPENS IN HEAVEN...!!!!!

This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.  Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them. 'I noticed again how busy it was there. There were man y angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the Acknowledgment Section,' my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed 'How is it that there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments ..'

'How does one acknowledge God's blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, Lord.'

'What blessings should they acknowledge? ' I asked.

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.'

'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity. '

'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day .'

'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.'

'If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world .'

'If your parents are still alive and still married ...you are very rare .'

'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair.'

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are..

    ATTN:

Acknowledge Dept.: 'Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people to share it with.'

  • :) Anupamji, Sainetrasji... I have been working nights... havent slept over 3-4 hrs a day in the past 2 weeks. My project just got over yesterday. Another one ends on 30th Sept. I didnt do a thing professionally for two years due to my emotional situation. Now Baba has given me this opportunity to work hard and prove myself. I shouldnt waste it. My event was fine. Now the next project. Work is killing, but am sure Baba will give me all the strength this time. I have only 3 months to work hard and prove myself before this times appraisals. Thank You Baba for giving me these opportunities. Else I'd have nothing to report and end up embarassing dad too.

Thank You Baba, Thank You God... & thanks to my entire family praying for me here. Its only these prayers & Baba's blessings that gave me strength & made my project a success.

  • The Way of Purpose

Handfuls of purpose. God gives them to everyone of us every single day of our lives. The story of Ruth is a perfect example...

Ruth, the devoted daughter-in-law of Naomi, vowed to stay with her mother-in-law after the death of her beloved husband. For most women, that would be more purpose than they could handle, but Ruth had a different mentality.

As she ventured out on her search to help meet the needs of her mother-in-law and herself, she followed Naomi's instructions and asked of Boaz-a distant relative of her deceased husband-if she could glean and gather from among the sheaves in his fields.

Boaz had inquired of her among his servants and she had already found favor in his sight. He not only gave her permission to glean his fields, but charged the young men serving him not to touch her and to make certain she was neither hungry nor thirsty as she went about her business of gleaning-as she went about her business of picking up the leftovers.

She was greatly humbled at the grace she had found in Boaz's heart, but Boaz was moved by her commitment to the mother of her deceased husband and wanted to reward her for her faithfulness to his relatives.

As a result, he gave clear instructions to his servants in Ruth 2:16:

And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

He instructed them to leave leftovers-on purpose-for her to glean. Most of us know the happily-ever-after ending to this story, as Boaz became Ruth's kinsman redeemer and took her as his wife-caring for her and her mother-in-law for the remainder of their lives.

But what about those handfuls of purpose? Let's think about it for a moment...

God gives each of his children handfuls of purpose every day of our lives. Everything has a purpose and nothing should be left to go to waste.

It's as if God paints a beautiful portrait of each of our lives and then divides it into hundreds or thousands or millions of little pieces-much like that of a jigsaw puzzle. Everyday of our lives He gives us a handful of pieces-or a handful of purpose.

Our lives are truly like a jigsaw puzzle. Some days the pieces look beautiful and colorful, and other days, the pieces are dark and mysterious. Some days the pieces fit together very well, and other days they seem to connect with nothing at all in our lives and we are left wondering why God ever handed them to us at all.

Yet we must never discard even a single piece of the puzzle of our lives if we want it to be complete. Some pieces we just take in faith, knowing fully well that someday they will connect with something else God has given us. Eventually the pieces will all fit together into the masterpiece He designed even from before the moment of our conceptions.

As time goes by in our walk with the Lord, the puzzle starts to make sense and the picture starts to come together. Those mysterious pieces eventually fit and excitement fills our soul as we see the final outcome. But in the meantime, we just take the pieces he hands us-however obsolete they may seem to us-and set them aside in faith knowing that someday they will all come together.

The only thing God hasn't given us is the box the puzzle comes in. Instead He gives us vision. Vision to believe in the final outcome. A vision to live for the picture He has planted in our minds. A vision of the picture He has embedded in our souls. A vision of the picture He has written on the tablets of our hearts.

Ruth could have lived with despair and given up on life when her young husband died prematurely, but instead she took the pieces God gave her and trusted Him to make a beautiful picture of her life, in spite of what had been handed to her.

Our lives are no different. God gives us handfuls of purpose everyday. Sometimes we may like them. Other times we may not. But we must trust Him that His purpose will be fulfilled and that on the final day of our lives when he hands the final pieces to us, He will be able to look at his masterpiece in conclusion and say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joys of the Lord."

Take each day and use it for His purpose. Make the most of each handful He blesses you with and know that in the end you too will be a beautifully crafted masterpiece puzzle-with not one piece amiss.

Rhonda Norris is a Christian author currently working on a book series titled, "Are you IN the way...or in THE WAY?" Many believers live their lives sadly doing things their own way, but if we will ask God to instruct and teach us the way that we should go everyday, He will help us get to our destination much sooner and with less unnecessary pain and suffering.
