MUMBAI, Sep 28: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, who has missed cricket action for almost 40 days because of tennis elbow, was feeling better, according to his wife Anjali.
Tendulkar is due to meet his doctors, sports medicine expert Anant Joshi and Indian team's physio Andrew Leipus over the next few days, she told PTI today on their return from Shirdi.
Leipus is scheduled to arrive here on Wednesday. "He's in constant touch with Andrew over the phone," Anjali said.
Tendulkar had visited the famous shrine of Sai Baba at Shirdi in Nasik with Anjali, their two children and mother. "Yes, we visited Shirdi yesterday and we had a good darshan," Anjali added.
Anjali said Tendulkar was "not too sure" whether he would meet his Mumbai teammates tomorrow to give an encouraging talk ahead of the Ranji Trophy champions' three-day clash with the visiting Australian team from September 30.
Earlier, Mumbai coach Chandrakant Pandit told reporters after the team's net session at Brabourne Stadium here that Tendulkar has agreed to meet the Mumbai players Wednesday at his request.
