Arati Prayer
The early morning sun shines its first tender rays on your holy feet like flowers. ‘But,’ ask all the lovely little flowers, ‘if the rays of sun become flowers for you, then what about us?’ They quickly open their soft petal-like eyelids for your worship and the small buds are blossoming into beautiful flowers for you. If you look properly [in the right way/carefully?]you will see that the old cloth tied around his head is a beautiful crown made of diamonds, his torn kafni a marvellous silk robe, the stone he sat on a throne made of gold and precious stones, and the satka in his hand a royal mace.
