Sairam! Shirdi people were very fortunate that Baba lived there for around 60 years continuously. Generations of devotees benefited by His Divine Presence. Though clad in tottered cloths, and eating the food begged from few houses, how obscurely He lived though He is an Avatar of Shiva.He never bothered about the extremities of the climate. For much part of the day, He slept on gunny pieces, sat on gunny cloth. To ward of the cold, he was facing the fire which was burning constantly. He was selfless, treated all with Love and affection, fed the poor and destitute with His own hand. The food he gathered was placed in a mud vessel, all partook it with favor. Even dogs and other animals ate the balance. The woman who cleaned the mosque took few rotis to her house. Thus Baba treated all alike and He protected His devotees foreseeing their troubles. The merciful Shiva adored "Dwaraka Mai" for the sake of His devotees. He attracted the devotees even from 3000 miles away. Take His name wherever you are. Sai is verily by your side.
