  • Shama, Nana, Kaka, Tatya and Mahlsapathy, the first set of devout bunch, who loved Baba as their own Life. Baba evinced much interest in the welfare of the above. It is not material welfare alone, but Baba took it on Himself to elevate the above spiritually so that they can achieve the aim of human life. We know Mahlsapathy was  unable to make both ends meet with a big family. But Baba prevented him purposely  to earn wealth. When a devout Sait visited Shirdi, he wanted to donate a big sum to Bagat Mahlsa, but Baba prevented him to accept the sum. Baba kept Tatya and Mahlsapathy with Him  in the night in the Masjid. Thus their  spiritual progress become rapid. But these devotees were unaware how Baba worked out their karma. Baba too never  revealed any thing to them. He made them  to read holy books , worship Him at the Masjid and Chavadi. Thus He ensured their spiritual uplift. Though all of them underwent many problems in their life, Baba saw to it that they do not come to harm! Kaka was assured that He will take him in "Vimana". True to that word, Kaka passed away peacefully when travelling in a train resting his head on the shoulder of Noolkar without any discomfort, all the while discussing about Saibaba! Tatya considered Baba as his own meternal uncle and loved him wholeheartedly.  Shama was given Vishnusahasranama book, though Shama could not study sanskrit. Later he learned it with the help of other devotees and was regular in chanting the holy book. Thus each of them got the highest gifts from Saibaba. Fortunate are those who contacted Baba at the earliest and remained steadfast in their devotion to Him until their end. Sairam, Sayipriya.
