OM SAI BABA
My dear Sai Family,
It is against the rules for any memeber to send pm's ( I entirely agree, this is holy shrine and not a chat room). However if a member gets a real query which may in a rare instance require a reasonably quick reply, there is no provision. We do have a report to moderator tag, however the moderator on watch on a given day or time cannot be contacted. I apologise what I mean is we can report to the moderator but have no feedback on our reason for either reporting or in the rarity of an urgency have to do by e-mail.There should be a provision that when a moderator is contacted some feedback as to our query should return to us. How else will we know whether we are wrong or right ?Perhaps the spam that has been pouring into this temple of Baba's is due to this.
Furthermore we as members of this forum earnestly type out as has been set by the guidelines. In most cases we use our own creativity or vocabulary so as to share our deep love for Baba. Whenever some other source is used we mention the source of the post clearly, as the forum should not face any copywright infringements from us despite the disclaimer we agree to when we initially join.
I am shocked at the degree of plagirism that is going on.I will not like to lay accusations on anyone.I will mail Ravi and do so in private.I can quote you the many instances of plagirism being carried out by a member of the admin itself. I humbly request that this be stopped. We should all try to abide by the forum's guidelines.I request that admin member to stop.one more instance will make me disturb Ravi ji again.
Baba is the embodiment of this forum.Let us all pledge to maintain it's sanctity.
In the past we used to have Karma points, a meaningless entity that was rightly discarded by Ravi ji.I also feel that the number of posts should be removed.People who have joined not more than a few months have posted over 5000 messages. In comparision the real meaningful posts written by a few hardly show any significant numbers. What are we counting here? I humbly request Ravi ji to get rid of this too.The space can be put to use for some other good entity.I apologise if my post has disturbed or hurt anyone.
When Das Ganu dressed up with all his paraphrenelia to perform on the occasion of Ram Navami, Baba asked him why he was dressed as a bridegroom. You all know the rest...glittery tags are wonderful potrayal of hierarchy in a place where Baba is the supreme being.
