My Sai Baba Experiences…..

I would like to share my Sai Baba experiences with you , how he called me near to him and given peace in my life.


When I was born:

When I was born I had to go to some surgery which made my mom quite worried, she saw one picture of Baba hanging on the hospital wall, she cried and prayed to him then fall asleep.
In the night she got a dream – ‘One man who is wearing full white clothes on, appearing to be a doctor smiling at her and saying there is nothing to be worried, your kid is perfectly fine’ then he disappeared. Next day when doctors came to visit miracle happened!!! They didn’t find anything wrong and confirmed there’s no surgery needed, and later on they discharged her from the hospital.

Thank you Baba for saving me, In my family we bow to all gods including our ‘Kuladevi – Maheer devi, but no one performs special worship to any god, we do have very old photo of Shirdi Sai (my mom bought it when Sai saved me) but no one do any specially puja for him. Just normal puja for all gods
But Sai Baba wanted me to come to him, see how….

During My College days:

Time passed quickly and I shifted to Pune to do C-DAC course.
I got Alandi Center which is around 7-8 kms away from Pune.
Actually Baba called me near to him, around Alandi there is one big temple of Sai Baba, somehow I started going to temple every Thursday, in fact whenever I felt I used to go there.

Here I would tell you since my childhood Baba used to call me to his temples, I just used to go there bow him and come back without thinking why I go to his temples.

My new Job:

Days passed…After finishing my C-DAC I moved to Pune city.

Here Again! Baba called me near to him. Where I moved there was a small temple of Sai where I started going with no reasons and without knowing about his miracles and stories.

It was a recession time in 2002, no one was getting job. People were being kicked off from their current jobs.
I prayed to Sai and asked his help to get me a job, by his blessings I got a job, but that job was not so great and I had to do night shifts which were quite horrible I became very weak and more over my seniors were very rude and partial to me, I prayed Baba again for his blessings and asked him to arrange another job for me and I promised him if I get a good job I will visit his temple everyday and will be his devotee for rest of my life.
Very soon I got another job which was very good, but as some of us do, we forget Baba in our good times so did I. I stopped going to his temple and forgot my promise.

But Baba knows how to re-call his Bhakts and remind promises which were made to him…

Married Life and 9 Thursday Sai Vrat Miracle:

I got married in Dec 2006 and soon after got onsite opportunity and moved to London(UK) in April 2007, my marriage life was not going very well every now and then we used have fights for every single little thing.
Some days later I got a dream where Baba is sitting under the tree and people are queuing to take his blessings, I was one of them in the queue and waiting for my turn, when my turn came I bow to him touched his feet and saw him clearly, but that time I was wondering why I have got this dream and just ignored it.

One day after a big fight I was broke down and very depressed, to distract my mind I started looking for a movie in you tube and suddenly I found Sai Baba movie (the old one which was directed by Manoj Kumar) and started watching it I got so much involved into it, I was very impressed by Sai Baba movie and then I started browsing about him and found out this great website. Where I read people experiences, Sai baba stories etc.
Slowly-2 my trust towards Sai Baba started growing up.

On this same site I read about 9 Thursday vrat puja, I started fasting on Thursday and asked Baba for peace in my married life and and started reading Sai Charitra as well.

Unexpected miracle happened!!!!!!!

By Baba’s grace I got peace in my married life and my wife and I changed totally and started to have some understanding and respecting towards each other, and all this happened before finishing 9 vrats!!!!

I can’t tell you how my life was but it was truly Baba’s leela who showed me meaning of life and gave me immense peace.

Now I am Baba’s bhakt and do worship daily and do fasting on every Thursday.

I am very much sure in my last few births I was Baba’s bhakt that is why Baba was calling me nearer to him again and again and it was one of his leela to call me near to him.
I never thought I would become devotee of Sai but once Baba calls to his Bhakt no can stop him, not even Bhakt himself …

Thank you very much Baba for giving me this beautiful life and great family, I am really grateful to you.
By your grace and blessings, my wife started respecting me and do participate in your puja.

Please always be with us and guide us through in difficult times.

I love you Baba.

As I promised I am writing another Sai Baba experience.
As most of the people experienced recession clinch, I also had gone with the same pain.
It was 27th July 09 my colleague and I were called up by my client to say that we both are being redundant by end of August 09.
I was so devastated and shocked by this sudden decision and was very much afraid as if I don’t have any work/project at Onsite, my company will send me back to India.

After hearing about my contract I was literally lost and couldn’t think of anyone except Sai Baba.
I started 9 Vrat puja and started reading Sai Charitra as well.
I had some feeling that Sai Baba will do something for us.

But at the same time had little doubt if I don’t get any work that means have to go back to India as I am on work permit.
My wife was recently got pregnant that time and I didn’t tell this to her and thought if I would tell her all this she will be bit tensed which won’t be good for her.

I requested my client line manager to extend my contract at least for next 3 months and told him about my wife pregnancy as we have to take little precautions first initial 3 months of pregnancy but my he didn’t give me proper answer and advised me to wait until mid August.

Days passed and I kept praying Sai Baba to do some miracle.
In the mean time I tried real hard to get something work out but none of them worked, I gave another try convincing team lead but all of them were stick to one point that they can not afford contractors but he will try for me.

Mid August came and suddenly my line manager was on leave and later on I came to know that his son passed away, I felt so bad for him as well as was thinking now he will not be around for next 2-3 weeks and in the mean time my contract will end so decided to talk to one of the Director directly but came to know from his PA that he is on holiday and will be returning on first week of September, so emailed him directly and mentioned about my current family situation but he didn’t give any reply, which was really frustrating.

I lost hope and disclose this to my wife, we both started praying Baba everyday and kept some feeling inside that Baba will do something for us.
In the last week of August I came to know there is one project in the pipe line where my role could fit into.

My interview lined up for first week of September; my heart started beating up fast and some how I lost my self confidence.
But Baba was with me all the time and he gave me strength and confidence back, my interview went well and later on I came to know I would be working on that project from last week of September 28th.
It was a real miracle, there wasn’t any hope but Baba filled with hopes and then arranged this project for me, I love you Baba, earlier I had few doubts but now I firmly believe Baba listens to everyone.
I was so relieved and thanked him a lot, while I was doing to Sai Vrat and reading Sai Charitra one more little miracle happened which proved me that Baba is with me:--

I started doing 9 Thursday vrat from 27th Aug 09
After completion of 5th Thursday I came to know about new project and interview.
I was keep reading Sai Charitra and decided will finish it before my 9 vrat completes but haven’t divided the chapters according to dates, I was just going through it, some times 1 chapter sometimes 2 or 3 chapters in a day.
On 28th Sep 09 I joined new client and same day when I was continuing reading Sai Charitra and I got that chapter where Baba took Samadhi on -Vijya Dashmi day.
I was so surprised to read the Samadhi chapter on Vijyadashmi day, its nothing but its Baba’s leela. I felt so blessed.

Few more points to highlight which will prove how Baba accepts puja:

   - Baba accepted my puja and before completing 9 vrat and gave me new project.
- I completed Sai Charitra exact on my 9th Thursday and called up my parents to feed 11 poor people and distribute 11 Sai vrat books but my mom was not well so she didn’t commit to that but promised me she will do next Thursday, then my wife (without telling me) she called her dad and asked him to feed poor people and distribution of Sai Charitra.
   - Later on in the evening when I called up my parents, my mom said some how she got energy to make food and had feed the poor people and also managed to buy and distribute Sai vrat books.
     In the evening when reached home my wife told me that her father also did the same.

I was so overwhelmed and surprised that feeding to poor and distribution of Sai vrat books got doubled and offcourse that was one of Baba’s leela to accept his puja.

Baba please bless us that we always walk on right path, never hurt anybody, never lie to anyone, respect to elders, always be an honest person and keep chanting your name until we die.

Om Sai Ram mamathak,

As you requested below is the procedure of vrat and story, let me know if you want Hindi version, i can provide you that as well.

Rules to be followed for Sai Baba Vrat:
1. Any woman, man or child can do this vrat.

2. This vrat can be done by any person without any difference of caste and creed.

3. This is a very miraculous vrat. Desired fruits are obtained by doing it for 9 Thursdays according to the rules.

4. This vrat can be started from any Thursday by taking Sai Baba's name. One should pray to Sai Baba with complete devotion for the fulfillment of the desire for which the Vrat is done.

5. Sai Baba must be worshipped in the morning or in evening. Sai Baba's photograph must be placed on a yellow cloth. Clean the photograph with clear water. Tilak of Chandan (sandalwood) and Kumkum must be applied to the photograph of Sai Baba. Yellow coloured flowers or garland must be offered to Sai Baba, incense sticks and lamp must be lighted and then the main story of the vrat must be read. Sai Baba's name must be remembered and then prasad must be distributed (prasad may consist of a some sweet or fruits).

6. This vrat can be done by eating only fruits ( it may also be done by consuming milk, tea, sweet, etc) or it may also be done by having lunch or dinner. But it must be remembered that the vrat must not be done by not eating anything.

7. If possible one must go to Sai Baba temple and if it is not possible then Sai Baba must be worshipped at home only with complete devotion.

8. This vrat can be continued even if one is out of his/her own town.

9. During this vrat if women are going through menses or if by any reason one Thursday is missed, then that Thursday must not be taken into consideration for 9 Thursdays. Another Thursday must be taken into consideration and then concluding ceremony must be perfomed.

Procedure for concluding ceremony :
1. On 9th Thursday the vrat is concluded. Five poor people must be fed (as per economic condition)

2. To increase the importance of Sai Baba and this vrat 5, 11 and 21 (as per economic condition) Sai Baba Vrat Books must be distributed among family and friends. In this way the vrat is concluded.

3. In the concluding ceremony, by distributing the Sai Baba Vrat Books increase Mahima of Sai Baba and we get His blessings.

4. On the 9th Thursday the books, which are to be given to our family members and friends, must be kept in pooja and then it must be distributed so that others and ours desire are fulfilled.
Sai Baba devotees have a strong belief that anyone who does this vrat according to the above procedure and concludes it in the same manner as stated here, Sai Baba fulfills all their desires.


Sai Baba Vrat Story:

A woman named Kokila lived in a city with her husband Maheshbhai. Both of them had love for each other. But Maheshbhai’s nature was quarrelsome. He did not have sense of speaking. Neighbours were fed of Maheshbhai’s such nature, but Kokila was religious woman. She had immense faith in God and she suffered everything without uttering a single word. Gradually her husband’s business declined and the earnings were also negligible. Now Maheshbhai did not go anywhere and stayed back at home. Moreover he was drawn to wrong path. Now his quarrelsome nature increased two fold.

It was afternoon time. An old man came and stood in front of the house of Kokila. He had a strange glow on his face. He demanded dal-chaval (lentil-rice). Kokila gave to the old man what he demanded and folded her hands before him. The old man said May Sai bless you with happiness. Kokila said there is no happiness in my fate and narrated everything about her unhappy life to the old man.

The old man explained the Vrat for 9 Thursdays. The vrat can be done by eating fruits or by taking lunch or dinner. If possible go to Sai Temple or otherwise worship Sai Baba at home for 9 Thursdays, observe fast and donate food to the hungry people and distribute 5, 11 and 21 Sai Vrat Books according to your economic condition. If you increase the importance of this Sai Vrat, Sai Baba will fulfill all your desires. But you must have deep faith in Sai Baba and have patience in your mind. If anybody does this Vrat and duly performs its concluding ceremony, Sai Baba fulfills his/her desires.

Kokila did the Vrat for 9 Thursdays, distributed Sai Vrat books and fed the poor on 9th Thursday. Now all the quarrels in her home had disappeared. There was complete happiness as Maheshbhai’s nature had changed. His business now came back on track. In a short period, their economic condition also improved and everything became fine. Both husband and wife started living their life happily. One day Kokila’s brother-in-law and his wife came to their home from Surat. Casually talking they told Kokila that their children do not study well. They have failed in exams. Kokila told them about the importance of Sai Baba Vrat for 9 Thursdays and said that by worshipping by Sai Baba their children would be able to study well. But for that you must have deep faith in Sai Baba. Sai Baba helps everybody. She explained the procedure for the vrat which is as follows:

- This vrat can be done by eating fruits or by taking lunch or dinner.
- If possible go to Sai Baba temple for all 9 Thursdays.
- Any woman, man or child can do this vrat. Worship of Sai Baba photograph must be done for 9 Thursday.
- Offer flowers, light incense sticks and lamp, chant Arti and remember Sai Baba’s name and distribute prasad.
- On 9th Thursday feed poor people.
- On 9th Thursday distribute Sai Baba Vrat Books among family members and friends.

After few days Kokila received a letter from her brother-in-law’s wife that her children does Sai Vrat and have started studying hard. She herself did Sai Baba Vrat and distributed the books in her husband’s office. She added that due to Sai Baba Vrat her friend’s daughter’s marriage was fixed in a very nice family. Moreover her neighbour’s ornament box was lost somewhere. As a result of Sai Baba Vrat someone came and returned the box after two months. In this way such miracles happened.

Now Kokila came to know that Sai Baba is really very great.

O Sai Baba please shower Your blessings on us as You have showered on others.

Hi sundeep,
You had nice experiances. You and your family have baba blessings.
Do we need to have lunch or dinner once a day or can't we have lunch and dinner during vrat? Why i am asking this is as i am feeding to my newborn baby i cann't be with having food only once during vrat.

Well in your case you shouldn't be fasting then and for Sai Baba Vrat has no hard and fast rules, You can do simple puja and follow the rules and when you complete 9 Thursdays just feed poor people and distribute 11 or 21 Sai Vrat books accordingly, if possible visit Sai temple.
Sai baba is very kind, may Sai bless you and your family.

One more miracle happened just now!
My visa was about to expire this month and my submission of the documents procedure were getting delayed day by day.
I was bit tensed if company submits my visa later this month then I wouldn’t be in a situation to arrange my family visit in UK as my wife’s due is early next year and would require family assistance.
But Baba is great, suddenly I got email from my company solicitor that she got premium same day slot available for me and asked me to arrange required documents as quickly as possible.

By Baba’s grace it got approved today and now I am relaxed and can arrange my family visit accordingly.
Sai Baba is great, he always takes care of his devotees.

He always asked to keep Sharda and Suburi which I tried to keep and now my all problems sorted.
Last few days were quire miserable as company were not submitting my documents but Baba looks after everything.
Thank you Baba.

Baba, there are people who are having hard time please give them Sharda & Suburi and sort out their problem quickly.

I would like to share one great experience about Hanuman Ji.

Since my college days I used to go to Hanuman temple and keep fast for him but never tried to read Hanuman Chalisa as people say if you make mistake while reading Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman ji gets very angry so I never tried reading it but felt so many times I should start reading it and used to get excited whenever I listen Hanuman Chalisa but didn’t dare to read it.

After my marriage I surrounded with so many problems and one day I have started reading Hanuman Chalisa and since then I was continuing it but last year some how I stopped reading it and became very lazy, I was very irregular and inconsistent.

One night I got a dream: “I am walking on a road and so many vehicles are passing by me I feel terrified as I am walking on the opposite side and any vehicles could hit me anytime, suddenly one man came near to me, he was wearing dhoti-kurta, having one long red tilak on his forehead (similar as Hanuman Ji) he takes me away from the road and leaves me in a temple which was Hanuman Ji temple!!!.”

I firmly believe it was Hanuman Ji.
It was a great experience; Hanuman Ji came in my dream.
I clearly got indication that I should perform him puja consistently.

Actually Sai Baba was a great admire of Ram ji and Hanuman ji and I believe it was Sai who came in the form of Hanuman and reminded me that I shouldn’t be irregular performing his puja.

I still cherish that dream and since then I tried to be regular as much as I can.

I do worship of Hanuman Ji & Shri Sai Baba everyday and try to never skip my puja.

Baba please forgive me if I’ve made any mistake while performing your and Hanuman Ji’s puja.
